Beginning therapy can feel like an intimidating experience. We have this idea of an unknown place where a stranger makes us open up about some of our deepest innermost thoughts… and then what happens? I get it. I’ve had those same thoughts about beginning therapy. But, what if I told you therapy doesn’t have to be hard or intimidating? I believe therapy should be rewarding and even fun (for real)! As your therapist, I will support you as we uncover what it means to have a life worth living and find ways to actually achieve that life! My goal is to create a space for you to be authentically yourself – no shame, expectations, or judgment. From that place, we will work on concrete strategies to help you achieve the life you want to live. I have a particular passion for working with individuals who are experiencing symptoms of eating disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I understand that what was once something that felt safe and gave you some control over your life, may have now transformed into something that itself is controlling your life. In our work together, we will explore evidence-based treatments to once again feel like you are the one in the driver’s seat. I also enjoy working with individuals who are facing challenges related to body image, self-esteem, perfectionism, anxiety, self harm, and suicidal ideation. Whether you have an eating disorder or not, I work from a Health At Every Size (HAES) framework and believe that our physical bodies are the least interesting aspect of who we are as individuals. A core value of mine is to provide a safe and affirming space for all marginalized communities. Also, as a queer, neurodivergent woman, I love working with these populations as I can understand on a deeper level the unique experience of navigating this world as a member of these communities. I believe that you don’t have to feel “ready” for therapy. You don’t have to show up looking put together or with all the answers, you can just show up. Come as you are, and we’ll work together on the rest of it. I really look forward to getting to know you!
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or life’s events, I am here to support you through your journey. I really enjoy helping people reach their full potential and rediscover reasons to love themselves and others. Based on the person's needs, I may use a variety of modalities including CBT, Humanistic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. It's all about what's best for you. This is a time for you to work though understanding your emotions and thoughts. Therapy is a time for you to find clarity, and that's what I hope to help you do.
If you’ve landed here, I imagine you might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, or past experiences. Maybe you feel like you should have it all figured out — but life feels heavy, and you're exhausted trying to carry it alone. I believe healing happens when we feel seen and understood. You deserve support that feels safe, compassionate, and genuinely human. I often help clients who struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, identity questions, grief, or trauma. I integrate somatic practices, parts work, and mindfulness to help create lasting change — not just coping, but deeper healing. I am trained in EMDR and Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma, and can provide specialized trauma treatment if desired. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, carrying the weight of self-criticism, living with the impacts of trauma or complex trauma, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others. I understand how anxiety, trauma, and life transitions can show up — often as self-doubt, people-pleasing, disconnection, or feeling “stuck.” You don’t need to have the perfect words to explain what’s going on — we can figure that out together. You are not broken; you are human. And healing is possible. Let's take that next step together.

Anxiety!, Stress!, pressure to conform and hide who you are can be so exhausting. Whether you are neurodivergent, autistic, queer, gender expansive, or experience multiple intersections of being marginalized, the last thing you need is to be told how to conform to systems of oppression that don’t value you. If you are longing to really be known and celebrated for who you are, let’s talk and work together so you have the nourishing environment in therapy where you can experience the healing and growth you desire to have a vibrant life.
First off, I am an art therapist. This means that I am trained at guiding others through creating art that can not only be insightful and meaningful but also cathartic and mindful. Secondly, I am a DBT informed therapist. I rely heavily on the use of effective and appropriate skills to cope in the moment and appreciate how understanding some basic fundamentals of why we are the way are can help us to regulate and interact in the world. Thirdly, I am trained in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is incredibly useful when needing to process previous events or treat PTSD symptoms. All of this to say that I can help give you the tools and support to explore how to get where you want to be… creating and actually present in a life worth living.
Do you ever feel misunderstood or like you don’t fit in? Is this causing you to feel anxious or disconnected from life? As a queer mental health professional, I have experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, trauma, depression and anxiety. I believe in identifying and building upon your strengths. Utilizing techniques from DBT, CBT, and mindfulness, I strive to help you process emotions and develop coping skills for when you feel overwhelmed or experience sensory overload. Working through trauma can be scary and overwhelming. My goal is to partner with you as you challenge patterns in life and relationships that contribute to anxiety and depression. I am an LGBTQ+, ENM, and kink-affirming therapist. Schedule a phone consultation today to see if I may be a good fit for your counseling journey.
As a relationship, gender, and sexuality therapist, I'm here to help you to create more intimacy and connection in your relationships, explore your identities, and recalibrate toward a more authentic and compassionate life. I am particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ folks in exploring and healing from internalized homophobia and transphobia as they often manifest in anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Drawing primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), modern psychodynamic theory, and intersectional queer theory, I provide a validating and non-judgmental space for people to heal from past experiences and find deeper connection with themself and others. If you feel motivated to look at hard truths, ready to question what you’ve been taught you “should” be, and are even willing to sit in moments of discomfort and uncertainty along the way, we might be a great fit for working together. Regarding fees: I hold a limited number of reduced rate spots (starting at $100 per session) for folks who are unable to afford the full fee due to a range of factors such as low-paying employment and otherwise limited access to a financial safety net. Please reach out if you'd like to discuss more.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Clinical Supervisor - here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my patients’ well-being and strive to provide excellence in counseling and psychological services catering to their needs. Since 2008, I have provided a number of specialized therapeutic services to those dealing with challenging life experiences. While going above and beyond to help them through all their obstacles. Over the past 12 years my work as a Psychotherapist, has guided clients through their personal healing journeys on communication issues, substance abuse recovery, and trauma. My private practice is focused on teaching clients healthy coping skills, healing from past and current life tribulations, while discovering the healthiest adaptation of themselves. If you have any questions, just ask! I sincerely look forward to hearing from you!
Many of my clients are used to being the “strong one” — the person everyone relies on while they quietly carry stress, anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt on their own. On the outside, they may look like they have it together, but internally, they often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or exhausted from constantly trying to meet expectations. Many are navigating major life transitions that come with college and early adulthood: relationship struggles, identity exploration, family pressure, perfectionism, boundaries, intimacy concerns, trauma, or figuring out who they are outside of what others expect from them. Some are healing from environments where their emotions, needs, or identity were dismissed or misunderstood. Others are learning how to reconnect with themselves more honestly and build relationships that feel safe, authentic, and fulfilling. I work best with clients who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to understand themselves better — even if they’re not fully sure where to start yet.

I have a compassionate, holistic approach, with a healthy sense of humor. I work with college students with emotional difficulties due to stress, relationship difficulties, or chronic physical, emotional, or situational stressors. I create a safe, non-pathologizing, and non-judgmental space for clients and work with great respect for each person's point of view and situation. I work from a variety of perspectives in order to remove the barriers to each person finding their inner resources and strengths. I have found that most clients appreciate a practical, understanding listener with a down-to-earth, compassionate perspective. Counseling can be an important step toward creating the life that you want. You deserve it.
