Quincy Phipps
First off, I am an art therapist. This means that I am trained at guiding others through creating art that can not only be insightful and meaningful but also cathartic and mindful.
Secondly, I am a DBT informed therapist. I rely heavily on the use of effective and appropriate skills to cope in the moment and appreciate how understanding some basic fundamentals of why we are the way are can help us to regulate and interact in the world.
Thirdly, I am trained in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is incredibly useful when needing to process previous events or treat PTSD symptoms.
All of this to say that I can help give you the tools and support to explore how to get where you want to be… creating and actually present in a life worth living.
