As a child (and now), I was gifted with empathy, sensitivity, and the ability to make others feel comfortable and understood. This innate propensity inspired curiosity in humans, suffering, and the mind/heart from a young age. However, it wasn’t until my descent into depression at the age of 20 that I decided being a therapist was my calling. Through my own therapeutic work and journey into darkness, I solidified my desire to become a therapist and bring the same healing I found to others while integrating my continued journey of seeking spiritualty and wisdom. My path has led me to explore various forms of meditation and contemplation, journey on a Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, sit in Lakota sweat lodge, backpack solo across East Africa, attend yoga school in India, sit with Ayahuasca in the Amazon and Iboga in Gabon, and immerse myself in the philosophies of Buddhism and Stoicism. My grounding presence and loving gentleness allows me to specialize in grief and trauma processing. I also specialize in, spirituality, dream work, childhood sexual abuse, psychedelic integration, addictions and men's work. I am trained in EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Psychedelic assisted therapy (Ketamine). I use an IFS and Jungian approach.

Hi I'm Joe! I specialize in Anxiety, ADHD, and Depression– Help with overwhelm, improving focus, and helping you get back on your feet if life is not going great. From personal experience, I know that mixing anxiety with opening up to a stranger isn’t exactly anyone’s idea of fun. I will work with you and any stress or anxiety this process may cause. What you gain from working with me: 1. A calm, non judgmental space You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. Sessions are supportive, practical, and focused on helping you feel understood rather than pressured. 2. Tools that fit student life We focus on realistic strategies for anxiety, focus, motivation, and mood that actually work alongside classes, deadlines, and daily stress. 3. Clear direction instead of overwhelm Rather than trying to fix everything at once, we identify a few key areas to work on so therapy feels manageable and purposeful. How a first session generally goes: 1. Discuss what’s been going on 2. Identify a few areas to focus on 3. Make a practical plan that fits your life I do both short term and long term therapy on telehealth and in person. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Early attachment experiences and relational environments shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. When those experiences involve chronic stress, neglect, or rupture, the effects can echo across generations. My approach attends carefully to these developmental layers, helping clients build regulation, integration, and a renewed sense of agency. I offer an exploratory therapy process grounded in careful attention to the patterns that shape our inner world and relationships. My work is trauma-informed and integrative, incorporating EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and expressive arts therapies to support healing at both cognitive and embodied levels.

Yes, first session is a free, initial 1-hour consultation. Trauma, anxiety-related disorders, OCD, phobia, anger, couples therapy, and parenting of teens. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the gold standard treatment for many, many disorders. Learn to feel, think, and engage life in ways you've always wanted. I use research-tested methods and my 18 years' experience as a professional counselor to guide you in building yourself up, breaking free, and finding freedom from limiting beliefs, feelings, and behaviors. You are capable of making the changes you want to see in your life, but everyone needs help sometimes. I'm professionally trained and here to help you now. Newly added: faith transitioning counseling. I have many years experience in helping clients overcome abuse, bullying, and their after-effects that still plague us years after the initial trauma. I believe everyone deserves to be emotionally free of others' expectations--and that through counseling you can learn to stand up for yourself and loved ones. Your brain changes positively or negatively with every experience. Counseling guides neural changes, creating new habits that help you achieve your goals. Counseling is a relationship. People thrive on good relationships. That's why counseling works. Call me for a free initial office consultation to see if we work well together.

I have been around the college experience my entire life. I grew up in Gainesville around UF, and worked for years at UF with college athletes helping them adjust to and and manage the demands of the university environment to be successful on and off the field. College is both an exciting and challenging time in a person's life, and college students are my favorite to work with. Working through your mental health issues while in school facilitates your success and helps you to not only have fun while in school but to also start your new chapter on the right foot when you graduate. I have helped many students work through their unique issues towards a successful future and I can help you do the same. Besides the university environment I have worked in public schools, hospitals, and mental health centers providing services. I am a specialist in financial therapy, men's issues, Christian counseling, hypnotherapy, and am certified in trauma treatment. I have completed graduate degrees at UF, Tulane, and Creighton, so I know the academic environment very well and have the experience and tools to help you with whatever you are struggling with.

College can be an exciting but overwhelming time. Between academic pressures, changing relationships, and figuring out who you are, it’s easy to feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected. You may be struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, past trauma, relationship challenges, self-connection, and self-identity or feeling like you don’t quite fit in. Maybe you’re carrying emotional wounds that make it hard to trust yourself or others. I’m Maria, a therapist who specializes in helping college students and young adults navigate life’s transitions, heal from past experiences, and build self-awareness and confidence. My approach is warm, empowering, inquisitive, collaborative, and creative—I blend science-backed therapies like EMDR and somatic/movement work with expressive arts and deep self-reflection to help you process emotions, manage stress, learn coping skills and feel more connected to yourself. Our work together isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about understanding your experiences, honoring your emotions, and helping you move through challenges with more ease. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, relationship struggles, or just feeling lost, you deserve a space where you can show up as you are and explore what healing means for you. If this resonates, let’s connect—I’d love to support you on your journey.

Hi, I’m Radha — I’m so glad you’re here. I know that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable. I honor your courage in seeking connection, healing, and growth. My Personhood As a fellow healing human, I practice embodying a spirit of wholeheartedness, compassion, and service towards myself and all living beings. I hold authenticity, healthy boundaries, open-mindedness, patience, gratitude, and humility as my guiding compass. I navigate embracing my own humanity and the humanity of those with whom I have the privilege to connect using this compass. In my own journey, I am actively loving myself into health and wholeness while consciously leaning into my own continued growth in all that I do. My Philosophical & Therapeutic Approach I am a humanistic, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming counselor. I work relationally and view the therapeutic alliance as a sacred space where healing can unfold. Sometimes this means being held in a safe, supportive relationship; other times, it means feeling empowered to stand in your own strength. I believe healing is a journey of becoming more whole: embracing, transmuting, and integrating both the light and the shadow—shadow being the parts of us we would rather not see or feel because somewhere along the way, we learned it wasn’t safe to embody them. I conceptualize the human experience and cycles we can get caught in through the lenses of: Developmental psychology Attachment theory Spirituality My approach is rooted in the understanding that healing is a layered, conscious process. It involves noticing what arises in our bodies, psyches, and relationships; turning toward discomfort with curiosity and compassion; and gently restoring safety, trust, and connection—both internally and externally. Primary Modalities I Integrate Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) Structural Family Therapy Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy The Enneagram of Personality Secondary Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) Gottman Couples Counseling 12-Step Recovery Principles How I Work In our work together, whether you are an individual, a couple, or a family, I may guide you to: Share about your early childhood and what it was like to grow up in your family. Consider how these experiences shape you and your relationships as an adult. Explore your system of meaning making and the lens through which you view the world. Incorporate the use of “I” language and adopt the concept of “both/and”. Slow down and listen inwardly in order to identify how you’re feeling and explore the related sensation(s) in your body. Access Self energy through mindfulness and meditation, journaling, breathwork, creative expression, or nature-based practices. Use somatic tools like movement, EFT tapping, and self-touch to support emotional release and integration. I hold the belief that healing is not simply about “doing”—it’s about being. My role is to be with you, human to human, while supporting you in reconnecting with your core Self; your own inner wisdom and capacity to heal. Am I the right fit for you? I work best with clients who are motivated and open to engaging in growth both during and between sessions. For couples, I typically begin with two joint sessions followed by 1–2 individual sessions with each partner to understand personal history and relational dynamics. We then reconvene as a couple for integration. I often recommend that couples and families also receive individual therapy, which I am happy to provide when appropriate. My energy as a therapist ranges from soft and nurturing to direct and challenging, depending on your needs and what feels most supportive for your healing. Each therapeutic relationship is unique and I value receiving your input as we co-create ours. Let’s Connect I have experienced first-hand the power of being seen, accepted, and held in a safe therapeutic relationship. I know how much healing lies in the simple (yet profound) experience of receiving unconditional positive regard. I am devoted to the practice of nourishing my spirit, which allows me to offer this level of care to my clients. If my approach resonates with you, I would love to connect over a free 15-minute consultation call to see if we’re a good fit. Text: (352) 443-5103 Email: Radha@fear-lesstherapy.com Namaste—A powerful expression of interconnectedness and respect, reflecting a deep understanding of our shared human experience: “The divine light in me recognizes the divine light in you”.
