Welcome, and thank you for considering me as a therapist to partner with you on your therapy journey! Taking the first steps to change your life can be challenging and, at times, a bit scary. I can relate to and understand how taking those initial steps to start a new journey can be uncomfortable. I strive to provide a warm, safe, and nonjudgemental environment where clients can feel comfortable working towards their goals utilizing tailored therapeutic techniques. Therapy is a partnership between the therapist and the client to work towards creating positive changes that one would like to focus on in their life. I have twenty-five years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families to address relationship issues, anxiety, depression, women's issues, grief, ADHD, and life transitions. With the proper support, I feel anyone can make advancements toward their goals. I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you on your journey of growth! Christine
I have a Client Centered Holistic Approach . My speciality is Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. I provide for a safe environment where my clients have the opportunity to explore what ever issues they may be facing. I Utilize Cognitive Therapy Address Psychosocial Adjustment Issues with Individual's, Couple's and Families.
Therapy is a unique experience and I believe that we as humans are most balanced when we feel safe and understood, non-judgmentally. As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I strive to ensure that clients are provided the space to effectively express themselves in a way that makes sense to them. I have years of experience working with college students like you who may be feeling overwhelmed with the load of academics, expectations, and also trying to maintain a social life and practice self-care. Sometimes, just having a neutral person to talk to is all you need. My approach to therapy is prioritizing your needs and personalizing sessions to reflect that. Specifically, the therapeutic styles that I utilize are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that therapy is done at your pace. Ultimately, therapy is about recognizing that your mental health matters (just as much as physical health) and valuing the process to get there.
Whether you're managing a mood disorder, working through relationship challenges, or struggling with a significant shift in your life, you don't have to face it alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience, I specialize in helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Showing up for you means creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where growth and self-exploration feel genuinely possible. Together, we'll build the insight, resilience, and meaningful change that can make a real difference in your life. It's a privilege to be your compassionate, trustworthy partner throughout that process. You can expect every session to feel warm, collaborative, and centered around you. Drawing on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, we'll work together to help you better manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and feel more confident navigating daily life. No two people are the same, and the care you receive reflects that. Your unique situation, goals, and needs shape how we work together — always with a focus on building healthier coping strategies and helping you feel genuinely empowered in your daily life. A deep curiosity about people and a genuine desire to help others find their footing in hard moments drew me to this work from the very beginning. Over the years, that calling has only grown stronger, deepening my commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps patients feel supported and capable of real change. To every session in my practice now, I bring warmth, authenticity, and practical clinical insight, because you deserve care that is both grounded and human. When I'm not in session, you'll likely find me exploring a new restaurant with my family, trying out a recipe in the kitchen, or hunting for a hidden gem while antiquing. Home is a constant source of inspiration too, whether I'm tending the garden, taking on a DIY project, or reimagining a space through interior design. Traveling rounds it all out, fueling a sense of wonder and curiosity that I carry into my work with you.
I offer virtual, individual psychotherapy to clients located in Washington DC, Virginia, and Florida. All sessions are individually tailored to not only help you gain skills to relieve your symptoms, but also to develop insight into unhelpful patterns, so you can live a more fulfilling and peaceful life that aligns with your values. I am an intentional integrationist, which is a fancy way of saying I am trained in many therapeutic approaches to help you based on your needs, experiences, preferences, and style of learning. This allows me to offer a tailored approach that is just right for you. Often, clients don’t know exactly what they want or need from a therapist. I listen closely to how you describe the concerns bringing you to therapy, what you’ve tried, what you want to change about your life, and when you are at your best—all to determine the optimal approach to treatment. My experience with myriad interventions allows me to be highly flexible and pivot quickly based on your ongoing feedback. You can expect us to continually explore what is working well, how we are tracking toward your goals, and what, if anything, you want to change to optimize what you're getting from therapy. I see clients as the “pilot” of the metaphorical journey of therapy, and myself as an expert co-pilot and navigator. You decide where we go, our speed, and when to “refuel,” while I help provide the most efficient way to reach your chosen destination. Sometimes clients change their mind about their destination mid-journey. That’s okay! I am right there to help us change course smoothly. My goal is to help you to feel heard, empowered, supported, and above all to feel better. My technical approach to therapy is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as relational and psychodynamic models of therapy. As a clinical social worker, my therapeutic style is client-centered, trauma-informed, and is guided by the multicultural, strengths, and person-in-environment perspectives. Regardless of the customized treatment plan I employ, building and tending to a trusting therapeutic relationship with you is at the heart of what I do. In every session, you can expect a warm, collaborative, inclusive approach that honors your lived experiences, embraces your strengths, and is identity-affirming for clients of all backgrounds. I’m honored you’re considering me as a partner on your wellness journey. If you’re ready to take the first step toward positive change, email me today to schedule a free 15-30 minute consultation to see if I’m a good fit to be your therapist. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Do you struggle to believe in your heart and body what you know in your brain? I'm worthy. It wasn't my fault. I'm in control now. I can trust myself. Do you give your friends more grace than you give yourself? I am certified in EMDR therapy, an evidence-based treatment that can help bring congruence between those things you know to be true when your body says otherwise. EMDR is an effective treatment for so many things, including trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and so much more! I don't just focus on what's wrong but also what is right and your strengths and unique lived experience. Together we will find resources and skills that work for you to find calm in your mind and body and heal old wounds. I am your copilot and you are ultimately in control. I can offer you different paths to mental health. In addition to EMDR, I'm also certified in trauma-sensitive yoga and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Trauma takes choice away and I strive to never take that power from clients. People so often question if their experience was "bad enough" to warrant therapy but your experience and happiness matter. Please reach out for a free consultation. I accept almost all insurance and am happy to give you an estimate and discuss sliding scale options. If I am not the right fit for you, I can help connect you with someone who is. :)
Dr. Marceron’s approach is empathetic and client-centered and she uses evidence-based practices (treatment modalities that are supported by research) tailored to meet the needs and interests of her clients. Dr. Marceron is active and engaged in her sessions and her personality is informal yet professional. Her clients describe her as approachable, non-judgemental, and warm. She focuses on helping her clients gain an understanding of and learn how to improve/cope with their symptoms such that their initial concerns no longer hold them back in personal goals. She finds the most success with clients who are willing to: try new things, consider new perspectives, take action on topics discussed in sessions, and provide feedback about what works well in the therapeutic work and what does not. Dr. Marceron values collaborative work, meaning she values feedback in the therapeutic process and will make adjustments depending on what works well for you. Often, Dr. Marceron will work with her clients to identify “homework” to try outside of session. For example, if you discuss feeling dismissed by your partner, you and Dr. Marceron may come up with strategies for having a conversation with your partner about how you feel and what to ask for moving forward. In her work with you, Dr. Marceron will pledge her empathy, honesty, and fidelity to be with you every step of the way. Dr. Marceron completed several of her training positions in college counseling centers and greatly enjoys working with college and graduate students. Dr. Marceron believes therapy can be a helpful tool to cope with stressors, enhance relationship quality, reduce unpleasant psychological symptoms, and achieve life goals. She also believes that therapy can be helpful to enhance quality of life and help her clients reach their maximum potential!

Hi, I’m Dianne. I’m glad you’re here! I’m here to support you to be free from fear and anxiety, align to inner guidance, develop nourishing relationships, and make choices from a place of love, curiosity, and possibility. My intention is that our sessions allow you to feel deeply known, and that through our work you’ll feel more free to be authentic in your life and relationships. Together, we’ll get to know you — your patterns, your strengths, your desires — so you become your own best teacher, with me as a steady support along the way. I hold a Master’s of Social Work from Smith College. I’ve worked with individuals of diverse ages, identities, and backgrounds in community mental health in New York City and in educational settings including San Francisco International High School and Vassar College. I trained in post-abortion counseling with Exhale Pro Voice, and I participated in FemSex, now called GenSex, an anti-oppression workshop for people of all identities about sexuality, gender, consent, and privilege. Before returning to school to train as a therapist, I worked for several years in international women’s rights, food justice, and bilingual education. I draw from psychodynamic, relational, somatic, mindfulness, and compassion-based approaches. If you’re struggling with anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, or questions of meaning and purpose, let’s talk.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use in adults, using an integrative psychodynamic approach grounded in mindfulness. I believe each person has a unique capacity to overcome challenges when provided with the right tools, support, and space to grow. As such, my explorative approach to therapy is warm and inviting, and grounded in curiosity and collaboration. As a polyvagal-informed clinician, I incorporate an understanding of nervous system regulation into my work. Together, we gently explore patterns, deepen understanding, and create meaningful change. My goal is to equip you with practical knowledge and skills to better manage daily stressors, increase emotional resilience, and foster a greater sense of safety and stability. My work focuses on helping you build resilience through developing greater distress tolerance. To achieve this, I foster curiosity, compassion, and a nonjudgmental stance, creating a collaborative, safe, and growth-oriented environment where you feel understood and empowered to explore your inner experiences safely and openly. In our time together, I believe in autonomy within the therapeutic relationship and practice from a person-centered perspective, utilizing an integrative approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through this framework, I support you in understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies that align with your values and goals. Throughout my years as a social worker, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations facing a wide range of unique challenges. What continues to inspire me most is the resilience of the human spirit. Witnessing that resilience firsthand sparked my passion for this work and remains at the heart of why I do what I do. I am a lover of all things creative – creativity is an important part of how I connect, reflect, and recharge. This includes visiting museums, crafting, journaling, reading, dancing, and exploring new hobbies. I’m also a fan of K-pop and value the sense of community that comes from gathering with other fans. These types of shared interests and creative expression are powerful ways we build connection and joy in our lives.

Hi, I'm Patricia:). I help students who have spent their lives feeling different, misunderstood, or like they don't quite fit the boxes everyone else seems comfortable in. Many of my clients are neurodivergent (ADHD, autism, AuDHD), highly sensitive, creative and/or deep thinkers. Some are navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, relationship challenges, identity exploration, academic pressure, or the impact of difficult life experiences. Others simply want a space where they don't have to explain or hide parts of who they are. I've worked with children, teens, adults, and families for 27 years, always through a collaborative, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed approach. As someone who is neuordivergent myself and who values curiosity, creativity, authenticity and seeing beyond labels, I often connect especially well with people who feel different from the norm and are looking for a therapist who understands that lived experience. I am a level 1 IFS therapist, a level 2 EMDR therapist, a Certified Autplay Provider and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I am especially passionate about supporting others in understanding and holding compassion for the many different parts of themselves. One way I do this is through incorporating expressive arts such as art, imagery, journaling, and sandtray (both physical and virtual). Therapy with me is a place to explore who you are underneath the masks, to rekindle that spark of joy, and to continue building a life that feels authentic, regulated, and maintainable.
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here, because you deserve support. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in old patterns, or exhausted by your relationship with food, movement, or your body, you’re not alone. There is hope for healing and a way to feel more like yourself again. I’m a resident in counseling based in Charlottesville, VA, passionate about walking alongside college students and young adults navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, body image concerns, and life transitions. My approach to therapy is relational, holistic, trauma-informed, and aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES). This means that together, we’ll explore your story at your pace with curiosity, compassion, and safety, to help you feel seen, grounded, and whole. I also offer EMDR therapy, a trauma-informed approach that helps your mind and body process painful experiences and find relief. My background as a mother/baby nurse, cross-country coach, and my own recovery journey give me deep empathy for the challenges my clients face. As a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), I also support clients in healing their relationship with exercise, shifting from punishment or perfectionism toward connection, strength, and joy, and can incorporate that into therapy if desired. If you prefer movement in your sessions, I offer walk-and-talk therapy as an option for those who find it easier to process while moving outdoors. For anyone who would find it beneficial, I offer Christian faith-based integration from a compassionate, grace-centered perspective, exploring how your beliefs and values can support your healing journey. Whether we meet in person in Charlottesville, virtually through telehealth, or outdoors on a walk, you’re welcome to come just as you are. Some days we might laugh; other days we’ll hold space for hard things (because both are part of healing). All backgrounds and beliefs are welcome here. You matter. Your story matters.
