Hi there — I'm glad you're here. I work with thoughtful, high-achieving students who seem like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly exhausted on the inside. You might be the friend everyone counts on, the one who never says “no,” even when you're running on empty. Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of overthinking, overworking, and still feeling like it’s never enough. College life can feel like a nonstop pressure cooker — but it doesn’t have to be this hard. My approach is holistic, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you feel more like yourself again. I blend tools from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Somatic Therapy to help you better understand your stress, listen to your body’s cues, and build coping strategies that actually work for you. Let’s connect for a free consult and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to figure this all out alone.
Currently offering Telehealth sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Congrats! You have done the first and often hardest step of finding a therapist. During these difficult times, it makes sense that you might be feeling lost and needing more support. This time can be especially hard for people who have experienced trauma or struggle with anxiety and depression. I specialize in working with young adults who have gone through recent or past trauma(s) or who struggle with long term depression or anxiety. I want to teach you the skills that you need to be your own therapist. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidence based practice, that helps you learn the skills to become your own therapist. CBT is a collaborative approach that empowers you to be in the driver's seat of your treatment. Through my experience and research, CBT has show to be beneficial for those who struggle with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. It is important to me to provide a non-judgmental, empathetic place where you can share your thoughts and feelings.
If you have ever been at a loss for what to do or felt stuck in a situation that seemed to have no solution then please know that there is still hope. Regardless if it is complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, there is hope. If you have a child with ADHD, ODD or another intellectual disability or have a history of that yourself, there is hope. It is my heart to meet everyone where they are at and to enable them to know that no matter what has happened in their life, no matter the trauma, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I practice 'relational, client-centered' therapy where you are the leader in the work we do together. I value the client-therapist relationship & show up as a whole person therapist - if I cannot provide competent care & support for your therapeutic needs, I will work with you to find you the therapist you deserve. I primarily see individuals experiencing life overwhelm, chronic illness, perinatal or postpartum concerns, identity exploration, & those in (or interested in) the medical, human services, or first responder fields.

I create a positive and empathetic environment where you can feel validated and empowered. My approach is to support you in breaking cycles to create healthier patterns of behavior. Together, we can explore how intergenerational patterns of trauma may inform and repeat in your life and learn how to shift the narrative. I can help in learning techniques for better communication and boundary setting, as well as how to put yourself first. I specialize in trauma-informed care, including complex, childhood, and sexual trauma. I focus on PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, and gender identity and sexuality. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including IFS, psychodynamic, relational therapy, and mindfulness practice.
I am a clinical social worker and a psychoanalyst with 24 years of experience working in different clinical settings including college counseling center, hospital, community mental health clinic, and private practice. I enjoy working with people who want to learn more about themselves and wish to grow. Over the many years of doing my work, I have helped a wide range of individuals transform painful emotional patterns, grow in self-awareness, and create more meaningful lives. The length and the intensity of the therapy is determined by each patient. You might want to focus on a specific problem in your current life in short term psychodynamic psychotherapy, or you may choose to engage in more exploratory psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I also offer psychoanalysis. Although my orientation is psychoanalytic, I incorporate other treatment modalities and adapt my clinical style to individual needs. I am very familiar with the emotional stressors of academic life as a clinician and a former academic. Before training as a psychoanalyst, I taught Russian literature, Polish literature and Polish film at UMass/Amherst. In my clinical work, I enjoy working with undergraduate and graduate students and individuals from different cultural backgrounds. I accept all PPOs and will help you submit claims to your insurance for reimbursement.

I take insurances and offer both telehealth and in -person options. Reach out to see if we are a good fit!
Hi! I'm Kade- a queer, nonbinary therapist that got bored of doing traditional therapy. Now, I work with clients in the outdoors (think: walk and talk therapy, or hanging out by a creek, or making nature art) or offer to bring in art and nature into our office or virtual sessions. I primarily work with LGBTQIA+ clients as well as those figuring out life after leaving or reconsidering religion. Many of my other clients are navigating life changes that feel chaotic or are just trying to give therapy "another shot". My ultimate goal for my clients is for them to get the support they're needing. So, I'll invite you to check in about what's working or not, and will work to co-create an approach to therapy based on your own needs. Therapy should never be a "one size fits all" kind of thing.
In my practice, I strive to provide therapeutic experiences that create self-awareness, self-compassion, and practical tools for improving your life. Together, we will use trauma-informed, collaborative, and empowerment-focused approaches that help to make positive change more possible. I have focused on working with women and LGBTQ+ individuals and groups who are navigating relationship issues, anxiety and depression, recovery from interpersonal violence and trauma, and family issues, which includes parenting, step-parenting, and attachment. With a background in leadership psychology, I also support women on their career and professional journeys to discover their styles of leadership.

My specialties include identity concerns, existential challenges and crises, cultural adjustment, life transitions, depression, anxiety, loss and grief and trauma. I enjoy working with college and graduate students, international students, and young adults. I also enjoy working with creatives, scientists, healthcare professionals, activists and meditators and bring my own direct experience with meditation and creativity to my work. My therapeutic lens is psychodynamic and is deeply informed by Buddhist psychology. I integrate mindfulness practices, meditation, breath work, and Compassion Focused Therapy in my approach. I am a licensed psychotherapist utilizing holistic, creative modalities to provide healing that is effective for children, adolescents and adults. I utilize two main modalities in my practice: Expressive Arts Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Through these modalities, I empower people who are having difficulty with depression and anxiety due to transitions, low self-esteem, stress, chronic pain, relationship issues, work/school obligations, trauma and grief. Expressive Arts Therapy is an effective way to process difficult emotions by making meaning through the exploration of our creative works. EFT is part of a holistic mind-body movement that works by finding the negative charges in our bodies while simultaneously sending calming signals to decrease our physical and emotional responses. My clients describe me as relatable, comforting, and validating. With compassion and acceptance, I welcome you to join me just as you are.
