Welcome! In my practice, I enjoy helping young adults who feel anxious, stressed, and burnt out. I have extensive experience working with people struggling with eating disorders/disordered eating and body image, academic stress, perfectionism, and those who are constantly battling the voice in their head that says they’re “not good enough." Through my warm and personable approach, I’ll help you understand your emotions and develop new coping skills to face life’s obstacles. I have worked in eating disorder treatment centers in Boston at both the inpatient and outpatient levels of care and practice from a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach. In sessions, I utilize components of CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems therapy to aid clients in identifying and responding to difficult emotions or thought patterns. My hope is that our sessions are a comfortable and safe space for you to grow and feel supported. Whether you're seeking therapy to better understand your emotions, process a life change, or improve your relationship with food/body, I'll work collaboratively with you to identify and address your goals. I look forward to hearing from you!

PLEASE NOTE: We are only able to treat clients who attend schools in the state of CT. Our three core values: Compassion - Commitment - Connection can be observed in all aspects of Coastal Connecticut Counseling's engagement with clients. Our 40+ clinicians (Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists) integrate evidence-based psychotherapy methods in a safe and supportive environment to help clients build resilience and achieve growth. We want therapy to be accessible to all, accepting most major insurances and offering financial assistance to those who qualify. If we determine that we do not have a clinician who has the experience to work with a client, we put their needs first and refer them to another practitioner in the community. We strive to best align clients with therapists in our practice but because chemistry is a critical and unpredictable factor if after a few weeks a client does not feel that the fit is right we make a change as we want every client to feel they are working with a practitioner who can help them progress in their mental health journey.
