I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate with experience supporting couples and individuals as they navigate the issues that matter most to them. My passion for this field began in the rural South, where I became fascinated by the relationships that sustain us and the ways we communicate with ourselves and each other, especially in the face of trauma. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support and tools that can help you move toward the life and relationships you want. In my practice, I specialize in working with couples from diverse relationship and family structures wanting to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and develop healthier ways to manage conflict. I am Gottman Level 2 certified, an approach to couples therapy that focuses on building strong, healthy relationships. I am also informed by the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) that draws from attachment theory and cognitive neuroscience to help couples move toward secure functioning as they learn to regulate emotion together. We will work together to create a strong foundation upon which a secure relationship can be built. I also specialize in working with individuals of all ages navigating LGBT issues such as gender identity, which is deeply linked to how we are perceived and show up in the world. My approach utilizes a trauma-informed lens to identify the impacts on everyday life and guide where the client would most like to explore. I am informed by the Neuroaffective Relational Model (NARM) that uses both somatic and psychodynamic techniques to identify survival patterns that are no longer useful to us and works on bringing the mind and body into alignment. I also incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on how we experience and express emotion, supporting healthier regulation and deeper self-understanding. We will work together to create a space to process and explore as you move toward personal growth. It is a privilege to work with my clients as they gain the courage to take steps toward personal growth and build meaningful relationships with themselves and others.

I work with individuals and families who are navigating life changes, anxiety, depression and overall life stressors. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and valued. Therapy is a place where you do not have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have all the answers; we move at a pace that feels supportive and respectful. Clients often describe me as warm, gentle, and genuine. I use appropriate humor to ease tension, while also offering thoughtful reflection to gently interrupt patterns that may no longer be serving you. Therapy with me is collaborative and supportive, balancing emotional understanding with practical skill-building to encourage meaningful change. My hope is that through our work together, you will feel safer in yourself, more empowered, and more confident in your voice; carrying forward a deeper sense of resilience, self-worth, and the light you bring into the world.

Nobody wants to come to therapy and feel like they're talking to a robot. My approach comes from the understanding that each person is unique in their experiences and perspective. I tailor each session to you and draw from evidence-based practices, including Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy when developmentally appropriate. With me, therapy is adapted to fit you or your child's individual needs and goals. Our therapeutic relationship is central to our sessions. I offer genuine concern, empathy, appropriate humor, and thoughtful reflection. Clients have described me as supportive, genuine, and comforting. Together, we will take a collaborative, strengths-based and values-focused approach, where we will work on growth and change together. I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients, where you feel heard and empowered, and where we can foster change together. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, life transitions, behavioral challenges, relationship concerns and other difficulties with phases of life. I can't wait to meet you

Do you ever feel like you just need to cry, scream, break down, or maybe do all three? Sometimes, life can feel like a lot to carry on your own, especially these days. I aim to provide a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and work through the things that feel difficult to put into words. I believe therapy should be collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and creative approaches such as art, music, and play. I strive to create an affirming, judgment-free space for people of diverse identities, relationships, and lived experiences. I’m a licensed professional counselor candidate with a focus on trauma healing through IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). As a transgender male therapist, I know firsthand how powerful representation can be in the therapy room. I’m deeply committed to creating safe, affirming spaces— for individuals navigating their own healing journeys. When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me hiking with my dog or exploring new restaurants with my partner. My areas of clinical expertise include trauma-related disorders such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD/C-PTSD), childhood trauma, anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as concerns specific to the LGBTQ+ community. I am committed to providing informed, compassionate, and evidence-based care tailored to the individual's experience. I am deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic environment rooted in respect, authenticity, and humility. Guided by client-centered values, I prioritize each individual’s lived experience, identity, and personal narrative as central to the healing process. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, supporting clients in reclaiming agency and growth.

I work with teens, adults, and couples, and I am especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, anger, serious mental illness, depression, and chronic pain. At the heart of my work is the belief that we are all doing the best we can with what we have—and that growth, change, and healing are always possible. As a psychologist, I approach my work, both in therapy and assessment, through a holistic and trauma-informed lens. I seek to recognize the powerful interconnection between emotional well-being and physical health, in order foster wellness within a person in all areas. Through my passion of working with diverse and marginalized communities, I prioritize social justice and culturally responsive care that recognizes the impact of identity, culture, and lived experiences on mental health and well-being. In my practice, I support individuals experiencing mood-related concerns, chronic and complex health conditions, maternal/perinatal mental health concerns, and trauma-related difficulties. I hope clients leave with greater insight and coping skills which create a stronger sense of self that blooms into a confidence when navigating challenges. I strive to create a therapy experience where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My broader vision is to contribute to a community where mental health care is accessible, culturally responsive, and viewed as an essential part of overall well-being.

I believe we don't have to face life's difficult moments alone. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, questions about identity and belonging, or navigating a new stage of life, I aim to work collaboratively as we define goals, and build resilience and self-awareness. I work with all ages, though primarily work with adults and have experience working with military personnel and their families, individuals diagnosed with chronic medical conditions, college students and first responders. I strive to create a welcoming, safe environment as we work collaboratively towards your goals. As both a counselor and art therapist, I often invite creativity into the therapeutic process as a way to deepen self-expression and self-exploration when word not longer suffice. My work is rooted in trauma informed, person-centered and non-pathologizing care. One of the things I value most as a therapist is remaining open to learning. I am passionate about understanding the many identities, cultures, and experiences that shape our lives and about recognizing how larger systems and environments influence our wellbeing. I strive to meet each client with respect, curiosity, and genuine care.
