Anais Assi

As a psychologist, I approach my work, both in therapy and assessment, through a holistic and trauma-informed lens. I seek to recognize the powerful interconnection between emotional well-being and physical health, in order foster wellness within a person in all areas. Through my passion of working with diverse and marginalized communities, I prioritize social justice and culturally responsive care that recognizes the impact of identity, culture, and lived experiences on mental health and well-being.
In my practice, I support individuals experiencing mood-related concerns, chronic and complex health conditions, maternal/perinatal mental health concerns, and trauma-related difficulties. I hope clients leave with greater insight and coping skills which create a stronger sense of self that blooms into a confidence when navigating challenges.
I strive to create a therapy experience where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My broader vision is to contribute to a community where mental health care is accessible, culturally responsive, and viewed as an essential part of overall well-being.
