Ryan Ciaburri-Torres

I’m a licensed professional counselor candidate with a focus on trauma healing through IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). As a transgender male therapist, I know firsthand how powerful representation can be in the therapy room. I’m deeply committed to creating safe, affirming spaces— for individuals navigating their own healing journeys. When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me hiking with my dog or exploring new restaurants with my partner.
My areas of clinical expertise include trauma-related disorders such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD/C-PTSD), childhood trauma, anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as concerns specific to the LGBTQ+ community. I am committed to providing informed, compassionate, and evidence-based care tailored to the individual's experience.
I am deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic environment rooted in respect, authenticity, and humility. Guided by client-centered values, I prioritize each individual’s lived experience, identity, and personal narrative as central to the healing process. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, supporting clients in reclaiming agency and growth.
