As a therapist, I will always meet my clients where they are at the moment. My approach to therapy is holistic. I believe that therapy is client-led and my job is to walk with you side-by-side in your journey toward healing and growth. During sessions, I will lead with sensitivity, curiosity, and support. Our initial process will involve getting to know each other and developing a strong foundation of trust and safety. My ideal client is someone who is open to creating a partnership and ready to take on their counseling journey. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use in adults, using an integrative psychodynamic approach grounded in mindfulness. I believe each person has a unique capacity to overcome challenges when provided with the right tools, support, and space to grow. As such, my explorative approach to therapy is warm and inviting, and grounded in curiosity and collaboration. As a polyvagal-informed clinician, I incorporate an understanding of nervous system regulation into my work. Together, we gently explore patterns, deepen understanding, and create meaningful change. My goal is to equip you with practical knowledge and skills to better manage daily stressors, increase emotional resilience, and foster a greater sense of safety and stability. My work focuses on helping you build resilience through developing greater distress tolerance. To achieve this, I foster curiosity, compassion, and a nonjudgmental stance, creating a collaborative, safe, and growth-oriented environment where you feel understood and empowered to explore your inner experiences safely and openly. In our time together, I believe in autonomy within the therapeutic relationship and practice from a person-centered perspective, utilizing an integrative approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through this framework, I support you in understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies that align with your values and goals. Throughout my years as a social worker, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations facing a wide range of unique challenges. What continues to inspire me most is the resilience of the human spirit. Witnessing that resilience firsthand sparked my passion for this work and remains at the heart of why I do what I do. I am a lover of all things creative – creativity is an important part of how I connect, reflect, and recharge. This includes visiting museums, crafting, journaling, reading, dancing, and exploring new hobbies. I’m also a fan of K-pop and value the sense of community that comes from gathering with other fans. These types of shared interests and creative expression are powerful ways we build connection and joy in our lives.

Hi, I’m Christina Cornejo, LCSW. I’ve been providing therapy for about eight years, and my passion lies in supporting young adults who are navigating the overwhelming transition into adulthood. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or even unsure, my goal is to help you feel more grounded and confident in who you are becoming. I believe in meeting you where you are offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can be honest, feel heard, and grow at your own pace. Therapy isn’t about having it all figured out; it’s about having someone walk with you as you discover your path. My practice focuses on breaking intergenerational patterns, strengthening communication, and untangling the internal conflicts that arise when you’re stepping from teens to adulthood, or into a new life transition such as a school, relationship, and/or job. Let's work on discovering yourself. I understand the pressure that can come from school, family expectations, and trying to figure out who you are in a world that doesn’t always reflect your experience. My passion is helping you recognize and unlearn harmful patterns so you can start to redefine yourself on your own terms.
At Mosaic, we believe that every individual is unique and deserving of personalized care and support on their journey towards well-being.

Are you struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, trouble sleeping, or fatigue in addition to brain fog, or digestive issues? Maybe you find yourself overthinking, stuck in the same old thinking patterns, and juggling too many things at once making you feel stuck. Do you feel like your fatigue, digestive issues, and brain fog are preventing you from living fully? You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure, you’re ready for some relief! You’re ready to take back control of your whole health and ready to feel confident, stop overthinking, and trust your own decisions
The road to self discovery is scary, and you are taking the first steps in seeking out the right therapist for you. It’s an important investment and you want to make sure you find just the right connection. My approach is deeply personal. Working with each person to learn and identify how they are impacted by the stories of their life and their history. In doing so, we are able to bring out what is truly possible. I believe strongly in the power of our stories. From a very young age, we all start learning things about ourselves and our world. These “life lessons” start to turn into the stories we repeat to ourselves over and over again. They become who we are. Those stories are not always nice and they hold us back. But most importantly, they are often not true! They are the stories we created when we were young and we have retold them to ourselves over and over again in a weird game of telephone with one player.

That question led me into forensic psychology, where I spent 10 years treating sexual offenders, individuals widely despised by society. Over time, I realized that preventing future harm required helping offenders understand the origins of their actions. Few psychologists—especially survivors who fully grasp the impact—choose this path. But I knew that without effective treatment, the cycle continues. My mission became clear: NO MORE VICTIMS. ______ Holly A. Silva, Psy.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist CT | NY | VA 📞 860-222-4211 📧 drhollysilva@gmail.com
