Hello! I'm Dr. Wilson, a licensed psychiatrist with a passion for helping people feel their best! My background includes an undergraduate degree in human nutrition and Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. I specialize in medication management and provide convenient virtual sessions to fit your busy life! The current focus of my practice includes treatment for anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD and more. To accomplish this goal, I utilize a holistic approach to mental health which includes medication management, inclusion of therapy within each appointment, and exploring any alternative treatment strategies necessary. At this time, I provide virtual-only treatment (no in-person sessions) so you can be seen in the comfort of your own home! We can begin your path to wellness by completing an introductory session to help define your goals. After this, we can develop a strategy for maximizing your mental health including selection of any appropriate medications.

Many people seem to have lost their way; they have followed paths they believe they "should" take and find themselves asking why they are not as happy as they expected to be. At the heart of therapy is empathy, i.e. the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. My empathy for clients enables them to identify their feelings and needs, and accept and value them. This allows them to empathize with others and form meaningful relationships. While therapy requires work and commitment and can thus be challenging, it is well worth the investment of time and energy.

If you are seeking to gain deeper insight into your patterns of behavior, strengthen your relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change, you have come to the right place. I work with young adults, adults, and couples with specialized experience in treating anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, OCD, as well as interpersonal and relational challenges. I believe therapy should be personalized rather than “one size fits all.” Therefore, building trust and cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship are central to my approach. Drawing from attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives, I help individuals understand how past experiences shape the present. I also integrate skills from evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, cognitive flexibility, and behavioral change. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Mental Health Studies from New York University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Mount Sinai Services/Elmhurst Hospital, where I received intensive training in providing individual and couples therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, and my post-doctoral training at the Center for Anxiety, a private practice setting where I deepened my expertise in evidence-based treatment. My prior clinical training includes placements at Weill Cornell Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian and the Parnes Clinic, where I specialized in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, trauma, and relational challenges. My doctoral research examined the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health severity, further strengthening my commitment to understanding how individuals adapt and recover in times of crisis. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a supervising psychologist, supporting the professional growth and development of emerging clinicians. Patients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and collaborative, while also appreciating my honesty, directness, and willingness to challenge unhelpful beliefs.I ask thoughtful, meaningful questions designed to foster insight and help individuals better understand their internal experiences. I bring humor and presence into sessions, working alongside patients to identify patterns, build insight, and move toward growth, healing, and their most meaningful goals.

Young adulthood is a time of transitions, growth and self discovery. While many new challenges can be exciting, this time of exploration can also become overwhelming. There can be a lot of “shoulds”, comparisons and uncertainty. My office is a safe space to process through all of these thoughts and feelings without feeling judged or criticized. Together we work to figure out a path to help you build the necessary skills and insights to launch into the adult life you are seeking. I love working with young adults and college students to help them embrace this season of their life. As a Registered Yoga Teacher I value the connection between the mind and body and what stress does to our overall well being. With that being said- if yoga/meditation/mindfulness is not your thing it does not need to be involved in your treatment. I always work to creatively match the evidenced based treatment modalities I am trained in to fit a client’s unique goals and strengths. I have worked with Princeton undergraduate and graduate students for many years and understand well the many and varied challenges which students may face; in fact, my MSW field work and my first job were at Princeton's Counseling Center. Many of my clients share a need to explore familial relationships to understand their behavioral patterns and how to make those patterns healthier. My approach ranges from DBT and mindfulness work for anxiety and depression to the traditional psychodynamic and interpersonal therapy. I am also a psychoanalyst, trained at the New Jersey Institute for Psychoanalysis. Among the various issues I treat are anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, behavioral patterns, and academic stress.
Goooooood day to you, person seeking a therapist! I'm Karina Le, a licensed masters social worker who uses they/them pronouns. I'm a therapist who is passionate about walking alongside clients as they discover (or rediscover) their voice, reclaim their space, and reimagine what it means to live authentically. With a clinical foundation rooted in trauma-informed care, I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, people of color, and those navigating complex family dynamics or cultural transitions. I earned my Masters of Social Work from Nazareth and hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Rochester Institute of Technology. My clinical experience spans individual and group therapy over the past few years, including inpatient adolescent mental health care and work focused on CBT, DBT, identity development, and support for BIPOC students. I also have experiencing in case management during a time spent shadowing case managers in community mental health settings. What really grounds my work is a deep understanding of what it means to perform for others at the expense of self, and the transformative power of therapy to unlearn those patterns. I'm especially passionate about working with clients in transition: young adults entering new chapters, adults shifting paths, and anyone beginning to ask, “Who am I, really?” My approach is curious, nonjudgmental, and always rooted in the belief that therapy can be a radical act of self-love.
