Hi I am Tameka and my practice is curated to offer mental health care that is paced at your readiness. At Mind Café, care is both clinical and deeply human. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, mood changes, ADHD, trauma, and the often-overlooked emotional layers that come with living with or being at risk for HIV. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative. We look beyond symptoms to understand patterns, stressors, and the context shaping your experience—so care feels relevant, not generic. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, trying to make sense of shifting moods, or simply want more clarity about how your mind works, this is a space where you can be heard without being reduced to a diagnosis. Care is tailored, evidence-based, and grounded in real-world understanding—with the goal of helping you feel more steady, more informed, and more like yourself again.
I am a bilingual/bicultural Latina therapist with special interest in helping college students as they face personal, relational and career challenges. I provide a safe and stimulating space to think about the most difficult and the most exhilarating moments in life.
So many students can feel overwhelmed… by choices, by things that need to be done, by relationships at home and at school, by worries about your own life and the broader world, by figuring out who you are… who you want to be… where you fit in… where you want to go. I want to help you grow to cope more easily with all that’s on your plate. I also specialize in supporting caregivers of all kinds. Do you have aging parents, a loved one with dementia or chronic illness, or children (perhaps with special needs) who need your care? Are you a health care worker, teacher, or volunteer? I want to help you balance caring for others with valuing and taking better care of yourself. When we work together, you are in charge; you drive the boat. I view my role as coach, pit crew, investigator, occasional guest lecturer, comic relief, gentle nudge, and trusted companion on your path. My work is all about your strengths and your vision–finding them, sorting between them, nurturing them to take you in directions you want to go. Our work is also about play: finding the courage and confidence to dream, to try, to try again, to try a different route. You can do both, staying present to enjoy as much as possible of your now while moving towards a future that makes your heart sing. All identities warmly welcome.

Hi! My name is Patricia. I am a therapist in training, trying to provide a space with compassion, dedication, and support in order to help my clients, in their own capacity, to heal and thrive. To provide a place where they can feel safe and have their voice heard. I use a couple of different modalities depending on what the client needs because every client is unique. I usually gravitate towards a client-centered approach and implement cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT). However, I will adapt and tailor my therapeutic approach depending on what the client needs and what the best fit is. I am committed to providing a safe, judgment free space and help my clients grow and get themselves into a healthier place. Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or drained? Do you feel like no one understands what you have gone through/are going through? Or do you find that you keep your feelings and personal experiences to yourself so you’re not a burden to others? You are not alone. It is not uncommon to feel disconnected and lonely, especially in this day and age. My name is Patricia Sibiga and I am a graduate student at CUNY Hunter studying Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to work together to talk through feelings of dissatisfaction and having a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. Being vulnerable about your feelings and experiences can feel really scary and hard to do, especially if you have experienced being shut down when trying to in the past. Holding onto difficult feelings on your own can start to feel like a weight on your shoulders that continues to get heavier without an end in sight. Starting therapy can help to release that weight and strengthen your resilience to life’s inevitable encounters. My ambition as a therapist-in-training is to create a space where you are able to discuss these feelings and experiences without feeling shut down and unheard. You deserve to have a space in your life to discuss these topics in a non-judgmental, uplifting environment! My practice is rooted in psychodynamic, CBT, and mindfulness based approaches with a sprinkle of somatic therapy. With these theoretical approaches, we can work together to learn how current and past experiences are impacting your day-to-day, to practice grounding and mindfulness, and discover healthy cognitive behaviors and coping skills that may help with psychological distress. Patricia Sibiga is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. Sol Health is a digital health startup that offers $30 therapy to Gen Zs by connecting them with therapist-in-training accruing clinical hours.

I am a bilingual Latinx clinician with years of education, training, and clinical experience as a psychotherapist and social worker. As a proud second-generation Latinx person, I understand the importance of respecting your unique intersectionality and the desperate need to decolonize psychotherapy. Therefore, I offer a space for you to safely explore cognitive and relationship patterns with a well-trained empathic affirming person of color. I may be a person of color trained in some of the top educational institutions, but I have never lost sight of the complex challenges we have and continue to face daily in our society. Together, we can explore the beauty and power of the unique intersectionality we each experience. So, contact me, and we can discuss the next steps. I work with Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, Oxford, Aetna, Optum, Headway, and Alma. Out-of-pocket and sliding scale options are available.
Finding a good psychotherapist can be emotionally exhausting and time consuming. We take it very seriously that you are entrusting us with key/critical aspects of your life. That is why it is our goal to provide a team of psychologists & psychotherapists from diverse backgrounds who constantly grow and challenge one another to be the best at what they do. At The Village Institute our team is constantly studying the most effective ideas and research to improve their skills as clinicians. What does this mean for you? It means that our goal is not just that you have a great therapist, but that you have a therapist that is great for you. At The Village Institute, you won’t have a therapist that gets stagnant and has nothing more to offer – because we are a community that constantly pushes one another to learn and to grow.
Is life feeling out of control? Are you struggling with significant life changes, relationship issues, grief, immigration and acculturation challenges, or in need of trauma processing? Maybe it’s time to talk with someone. You don’t have to face these challenges alone—I'm here to help and make it easier for you. As a first-generation Chinese American immigrant, I understand many of these struggles on a personal level, and so many of my clients find that connection valuable to open up to me. I am confident that with my experience and personalized approach, I can guide you toward a positive direction in life. My clients often express that they feel heard and safe during our sessions with my naturally warm and empathetic demeanor, but also challenge them at a capacity for growth. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my pug, watching dramas, reading books, and staying in quiet places—all of which help me stay grounded and balanced. What do you do to feel grounded? It’s completely normal to feel uncertain about starting therapy, especially if it’s new to you or you don’t know me yet. I encourage you to book a consultation with me. I’d love to address your hesitations and support you on your journey toward a better life. I’m here for you, but I need you to take that first step so we can navigate this path together.
From a young age, I felt driven by a deep curiosity about the inner worlds of others. Our inner world is uniquely shaped by our individual lived experiences, making each of us distinct in how we perceive and navigate life. I aim to foster a space that allows for the exploration of how one's lived experiences shapes identity, contribute to repeating patterns and impacts our relationship with ourselves and others. With a warm, collaborative and non-judgmental approach, I support clients in navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, identity and interpersonal relationships. Blending psychodynamic, relational and DBT practices along with mindfulness techniques, I strive to create a safe space for exploration and growth. With extensive experience supporting adults and students in both private and public mental health settings, I bring a rich and diverse perspective to the therapeutic process. To me counseling is a delicate and committed process that involves honoring each client's experience and working together to expand self-awareness and connection.
