Getting help can be frightening. When suffering feels unclear or confusing, having someone to shed light on what you are going through makes a world of a difference. I have had a career of helping many people in tough moments while providing a safe, healing and empathic environment. I continue my beliefs and commitment to providing this to people dealing with trauma, depression and anxiety. It’s important to have someone in kinship to your journey. Find a renewed sense of comfort, wholeness and understanding to your experience. A relational space which allows open dialogue and collaboration over your life situation will bring about positive change and insight into needs, decisions or ambivalences. Common approaches can help someone cope on a moment-to-moment basis. Meanwhile, layers of your experiences and whether significant relationships have met your needs still necessitate insight and healing.

Pre-Licensed Professional
Pennington, NJ

I work with students experiencing difficulties with relationships, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, motivation, grief and loss, OCD, and trauma. I have found that a helpful starting point is to do this as a team. We build on skills you already have, learn new skills and develop understanding of who you are and what kind of life you want to live. Then we figure out what barriers are getting in the way and how to overcome them. Of course that's a general idea and we can shift things around to make therapy work for you and meets your needs. I've been a therapist for four years and have two years working at Princeton University's Counseling Center, and have worked with multiple students from Rutgers and TCNJ. I offer in person sessions in both Pennington and Marlton at Inner Balance Psychology as well as online. I see students in person and over telehealth in New Jersey, and am licensed for telehealth sessions in Vermont. You're welcome to reach out if you have any questions.

Whether you’re facing a challenge or simply looking for growth, therapy can help. My hope is to accompany you as you move toward healing, wholeness, and flourishing. In therapy, I seek to embody a nonjudgmental, honest, and compassionate presence. You will find an environment where you can share freely and work on what’s most important to you. You will be equipped with tools and skills that will enable you to reach your goals. I have training in multiple modes of research-backed therapy, and I consistently pursue ongoing training. I tailor my approach to your specific needs. I use methods from CBT, DBT, ACT, family systems, and mindfulness. I believe in your capacity to heal, change, and grow. It can be hard, but we can do hard things–we've done it before. Call or email me today for a free consultation.
