I support individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, dissociation, shame, and relational wounds. Our work is grounded in trust, emotional safety, and experiential depth - not just symptom relief. Together, we'll uncover what's been stuck or buried and gently begin the process of healing and growth. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for couples/pre-marital counseling, fully trained in EMDR, and an intermediate practitioner of Coherence Therapy. Learn more at togetherwiththerapy.com

Hi, I'm Ash. I’m a queer / trans / non-binary therapist for individuals exploring identity, experiencing grief, or healing from trauma. My clients appreciate my non-judgmental, non-pathological, progressive, and curious presence. I work from psychodynamic, relational, and radical frameworks, centering the unique lived experiences of my clients. I might be a good fit for you if you appreciate a combination of humor, accountability, and support. I work best with clients who are motivated to dig deeper and go beyond simply finding relief from distressing symptoms. I specialize in gender identity, sexuality, trauma, religious deconstruction, and grief. I also write referral letters for Gender-Affirming Care. Reach out today to get started— I look forward to hearing from you!

The clients I've worked with that have reported the greatest success all have one thing in common: They tried their hardest in and out of session to challenge themselves. I firmly believe that every person has the answers they are searching for within themselves. I often work with clients to build up their faith & trust within themselves so that they no longer go through life second guessing everything they do. During the young adult stage of life people often believe that they are supposed to have everything in their life figured out. I believe that if you really work hard at getting to know yourself, you will have all the tools you'll need to figure out what is best for you going forward.

People with self-critical thoughts, perfectionists, those who find it difficult to understand their own feelings, I am not here to change your thoughts, or to get rid of them; I don't believe that's possible, even if we can sometimes ignore them for a couple hours. But I do believe we can learn to respond to those thoughts differently, in ways that acknowledge and makes space for them, but doesn't leave you getting pushed around by them, doing things that don't feel like "you." I'm sure you have your reservations, that's normal and healthy. Therapy isn't easy! But if you're not happy with how things have been - how you've been treating yourself, others, the world around you - I would love to talk. I try my best to make therapy more than just "feeling your feelings." I want you to come away with a sense of peace and preparedness. Here's the part where I try to convince you I'm not a lizard in a therapist suit. My favorite Pokémon is Vulpix, I love Dungeons and Dragons, and cheesecake is objectively the best food. Thank you for reading, fellow humans. Talk to you soon, maybe!

I’m passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate the impact of trauma and life’s many challenges. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens through genuine connection and that you are the expert in your own story. Together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you, gently exploring and processing distressing thoughts, feelings, memories, and behaviors. Whether you’re struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, or ADHD, I offer a supportive, strength-based space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered to move toward clarity and balance. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailoring these approaches to your unique needs and goals. Compassion, curiosity, and respect guide every step of our work together. As a trained EMDR therapist, I offer this powerful, healing approach when we mutually decide it’s a good fit. EMDR can help your mind and body process distressing experiences and restore a greater sense of calm and stability. My role is to walk alongside you on this journey helping you build insight, resilience, and meaningful tools that support lasting change.

Do you feel lonely, misunderstood, or lost? Are you unable to share what you’re going through without fear, judgment, or shame? You’re not alone and your voice deserves to be heard. It can be hard to open up to a complete stranger about the pain and problems that you’re facing in life. I applaud you for your bravery in taking this first step. You may be going through a tough battle right now, and I believe that you have the strength in you to overcome it. I want to be the helping hand in getting you there. I won’t just hear you, but I wish to truly listen to understand where you’re coming from. Every person is an individual with their own story. I want to hear your story and help you on your path of life. This is a judgment-free zone. I want to build a relationship on trust and confidentiality so you can feel safe and free to bring your authentic self to session. I want to work with you to explore what you want from life and help you figure out how to get there. I want to support you through your journey in rewriting your life’s story so you can become the person you deserve to be. I have experience in working with abuse, trauma, and women’s issues. As a first-generation Pakistani-American Muslim, I offer a unique perspective to the counseling experience if you are looking for someone who shares a similar background to yours. For clients who would like a faith-based approach, I can integrate Islam into the therapy process. If you are from a Muslim or South Asian background but do not want a faith-based approach, I will provide a non-judgmental, understanding place that is both culturally sensitive and welcoming. If you are of a different faith or background, your worldview is what therapy will be focused on, not mine. How therapy goes is up to you. The therapeutic process is about you and your growth. If I meet what you’re looking for, feel free to call or email me and we can start working on your journey together.
