Welcome! I offer virtual appointments, have weekday availability, and am licensed in MA, RI & VT. For all the reasons you are seeking counseling, I admire that you are here. It can feel overwhelming beginning therapy and choosing a therapist. Finding the right fit is at the root of the journey and I hope we will be a good fit for one another. Therapy is an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and how we work through various life experiences, including loss, trauma, transitions, and yes, the exciting, new possibilities! I've worked in a variety of settings including community health organizations, private practice, schools, and hospitals. I bring compassion, empathy, and humor to my work. I work from an antiracist and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens. I value creating a safe, supportive, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment to explore those parts of you that are most in need. It really is ok to not feel ok. We will figure it out together, you are not alone in this journey. My hope for you is that you will be able to work through whatever is causing you distress, anxiety, sadness, etc, so you can continue on your path. I appreciate the vulnerability it takes to engage in therapy and am ready, and honored, to partner in this work with you. You got this! And I gotchu! Look forward to meeting you soon. With care, Jenn Creating Hope In Healing LLC
**Teletherapy only. My approach to therapy has a strong focus on mindfulness, self-compassion and self-care. Additionally, I frequently utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and addressing cognitive distortions when working with Anxiety and/or Depression. I utilize a very structured approach to therapy with opportunity for input and feedback. My goal is to remind clients that they are doing so much better than they give themselves credit for, but to also give them tools and coping skills to take with them throughout life. I believe that by creating more space for self-compassion, we can improve many of our negative feelings and behaviors.
I believe that how we interact with others in the present often grew out of lessons learned earlier in life. Sometimes, people use strategies to cope with situations that once made sense but are no longer effective or useful. I also believe that everyone has strengths that can help guide decisions and behaviors in the present. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, where we become travelers on your journey; we look at concerns, explore their origins and feelings that arise, and discuss how to view and handle situations here and now. I blend developmental and clinical approaches to help individuals understand difficulties within the context of typical stages of life. Treatment is geared to individual needs, and I draw on a variety of theoretical orientations (e.g., Psychodynamic, CBT, and Humanistic therapies). I work with individuals from a wide range of ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds, and I have a special interest in gender identity and sexual orientation (LGBTQIA+). I have helped clients with concerns including, among several others, depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and life transitions. Please visit my website for more information: www.everbreezepsych.com

I have over 25 years of experience working collaboratively with people navigating life transitions. My expertise includes managing anxiety, depression, job loss, parenting challenges, and adjusting to life changes. I am a licensed mental health practitioner with 13 years of experience and specialized certification in child and family forensics. I support individuals as they navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, intimate partner violence, forensic and legal challenges, and major life transitions. My approach cultivates self-awareness within the unique context of each client’s social identities, drawing on multidisciplinary methods such as CBT applied through a social justice lens. I tailor my techniques to individual needs, fostering a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
I believe that therapy should be a space where you don't have to perform, explain, or minimize your feelings, no matter your reason for reaching out. As a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I welcome clients with diverse identities and concerns, and strive to create a safe, compassionate environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma/complex PTSD, including survivors of assault/abuse. I also support clients navigating life transitions, identity-related challenges, relationship concerns, emotional dysregulation, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, and academic/workplace challenges. Since there's no one-size-fits-all in healing, our work together will be tailored to your unique needs and a pace that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable for you. This can include processing difficult experiences, building insight, developing practical coping strategies, and fostering self-compassion, resilience, and a stronger sense of self. As a Harvard-trained researcher, my therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based care, integrating cognitive behavioral, dialectical, somatic, psychodynamic, and narrative interventions to help you create lasting, meaningful change. I look forward to supporting you in your journey towards a life that feels more grounded, fulfilling, and authentic.
Licensed in New York and Massachusetts- I bring 20 years of experience working with college students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I integrate a medical-model approach with supportive therapy to provide compassionate, comprehensive care. While diagnostic labels can help guide medication decisions, my focus is on understanding the deeper context of your challenges—exploring symptom triggers, emotional meanings, and how relationships influence your coping style. Mutual respect and trust are the foundation of my practice, and I am committed to creating a relaxed, non-judgmental space where honesty, transparency, and collaboration empower you to take an active role in your treatment. I treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, addiction, OCD, complex grief, and chronic illnesses. *Telehealth video sessions only* Healing from difficult life experiences can and does happen. We are all wired to protect ourselves from experiencing pain, but unfortunately the parts of ourselves that work hard to distance us from pain often keep us from living fully. If you are noticing patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are getting in the way of your moving forward in the direction of your dreams, this is a great start. The work of therapy is to slow down in order to cultivate the space between you and your feelings so that you are less overwhelmed, more understanding and have greater self compassion. You are not your feelings. Whether you suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem, or are having conflict in relationships or difficulty adjusting to new experiences, I believe that you have the capacity and strength to overcome obstacles and live life to your fullest potential. With a calm and caring presence and over 25 years of experience, I would be privileged to work with you so that you can experience freedom from self-limiting beliefs and live with greater intention, self- acceptance, interpersonal effectiveness and joy. Therapy doesn't have to be painful or overwhelming. I will work collaboratively with you to pace the work so that you can maintain a sense of safety and stability throughout the process. I use a number of different therapeutic modalities but believe that goodness of fit in the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of success. I am happy to speak with you to help figure out if I would be a good match for you.

I aim to create a non-judgmental space and to be authentic and compassionate in my work. I am dedicated to providing culturally responsive care and welcome clients of diverse backgrounds and identities. My approach integrates cognitive and behavioral principles (such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness) and uses evidence-based trauma-focused therapies (e.g., cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure).
