Last Updated 30+ days ago

Celia is a bilingual, Spanish & English, queer first-generation, Mexican-American therapist.

Celia aims to work with survivors, LGBTQIA+, polyamorous and kink communities, immigrants, Spanish speakers, BIPOC, adolescents, and folks going through transitions of all kinds. Celia believes in order for therapy to be successful it is important to develop a trusting relationship.

Inherently in the therapeutic relationship there is a power dynamic, Celia works to level wherever possible. It is her belief that in order for therapy to be successful it is important to develop a trusting relationship. Celia works with folks to create a trusting and safe-enough space where they can freely express themselves. To achieve this, Celia works with a combination of modalities, including relational and person-centered, guided by anti oppression principals and aims to level the power dynamics that inherently exist within the therapeutic relationship.
