Successful therapy and life coaching begins with clients and therapists developing a collaborative, collegial, and trusting relationship. I help my clients to identify the roots of their challenges in life; the problematic thinking, emotional, and behavioral patterns that result; and to develop strategies to address and resolve those issues.
I do individual counseling with individuals who have mental health and or substance abuse or addiction issues.

As my client, you will always be in the 'driver's seat.' I will be in the passenger seat navigating and supporting you in reaching your destination. Give me a call or send me an email today to see how therapy can work for you. My office is conveniently located in Fishers between 96th and 106th Street just off of Hwy 69.
I am highly passionate about supporting individuals who are navigating trauma, ADHD/neurodivergence, grief, identity challenges, and life transitions. Many seek more than just symptom relief; they long for clarity, emotional freedom, and lasting change. I approach trauma-informed care through psychodynamic and DBT theoretical frameworks, helping clients explore how the very past coping mechanisms that once keep them safe, now keep them stuck. Together, we can successfully shift you from surviving to thriving through the process of deconstructing these patterns, allowing your authentic self beneath to be discovered and embraced. My therapeutic style is highly collaborative, relationally attuned, and rooted equally in intuitive care and clinical insight. Our treatment plan will be deeply empathetic, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique story. I will honor you as the expert of your own life, knowing that our work together can teach me just as much as it supports your growth. Please know you deserve to be seen, heard, understood deeply, and supported by someone who is committed to recognizing your heart, nurturing your capacity for change, and encouraging the parts of you that are waiting to be fully actualized and celebrated. It would truly be my honor and privilege to celebrate your growth and healing alongside you!

When anxiety gets the final word in our story, we end up missing out on the life we desire to live. We all want to care for the people we love, experience success, and feel peace, but even our deepest values seem impossible to live out when we can't enjoy the present moment. Therapy offers us support to focus on what matters to us, even when our minds never seem to "shut off." Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), I journey with clients as they identify their values and practice the essential skills needed to face their fears and experience relief. I utilize my clinical experience and education in mental health counseling as well as my training in ACT and ERP to create customized plans for teens and adults who struggle with symptoms of anxiety, phobias, and OCD. I have experience working with young professionals, faith-based communities, and individuals from various international backgrounds. I believe there is nothing more desired by people than peace—peace of mind, peace in relationships, and peace within ourselves. My commitment to you is to listen with empathy, ask intentional questions, call out your strengths, and collaborate with you to reach your mental health goals. Feel free to email me if you are interested in beginning counseling!

Hello! I serve adolescent and adult clients from a variety of backgrounds who all are seeking freedom from stress and overwhelm. Some are burnt-out and exhausted because they have high-expectations for themselves and struggle with self-care. Some have experienced childhood trauma or challenges in relationships. Some are so overwhelmed they default to avoidance-numbing with doom scrolling, binge-watching, or staying too busy. Some numb themselves with drugs and alcohol to cope. They all want to heal and be free from the patterns they experience. I would love to help you in your journey too!
You CAN make sustainable change! Find the guidance, strength, confidence, education, therapeutic insights, resources, and supports you need to create long-term change in any area of your life! Life never ceases to present us with challenges in all aspects of life-family, relationships, personal, parenting, spiritual, mental, etc. Sometimes those challenges seem more manageable than others, sometimes we find ourselves feeling like we can barely function anymore. Either way, having a professional you can talk things through with, will help you identify the whats, understand the whys, and process through the hows. You are not alone, and going through the therapy process will empower you to feel more capable of facing your challenges, and create healthy, sustainable change for the future!
Are you afraid of judgement? "No one could ever possibly be okay with my choices?" The hardest part of me finding my own therapist was finding one that I felt unjudged by. As someone who understands that deep, true fear, let me assure you, judgment has no place in my office. I welcome you into my space with open, caring, compassionate arms.
Taking care of you is important. It takes courage to carve out time to work toward self empowerment and growth. I value relationship building and reflection through the use of an eclectic approach pulling from cognitive behavior, solution focused, and other personalized therapy approaches. Together we can explore your concerns and develop plans to strive for your goals.
Being in college can be challenging and stressful in many ways. You encounter so many new things that you've never had to do or deal with in your life before. The things that are familiar are now so much more intensified. For some, this leaves them feeling depressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. You can feel like a boat being tossed around in high swells during a raging storm. I like helping people make sense of what is going on, learn ways to calm the storm and steer their life, and become more confident to meet challenges they encounter. My approach is that we are a team. I have the training and knowledge to guide this journey, but you are the one who leads the way. If you would like to learn more about my background and types of therapies I use, please visit my website at www.balancedlifecsllc.com or call me at 317-742-9771 for a free 15 minute "meet and greet". I offer in-person and virtual sessions (as long as you are in the state of Indiana where I am licensed). I have my practice hours listed but am flexible if you need to meet outside of them.
