Between classes, deadlines, and life—you deserve a place that’s just for you. Feeling stressed? Stuck? Worn thin? College can be amazing…and a lot. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’ve spent 25 years working at Oberlin College, including as an Associate Dean, supporting students through the ups and downs of campus life. My office is right next to campus, and I meet with students in person and online. Beginning August 2026, 50% of sessions will be tele-health. We can work on stress, confidence, relationships, self-care—whatever’s on your plate. And yes, we can laugh when it helps.

My specialty areas are trauma, PTSD, and dissociation, as well as depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I am trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and hypnotherapy. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems therapy which is based on the idea that you can heal your own emotional wounds through extending compassion to the many parts of yourself. I aim to create a warm, safe space for self-exploration and personal growth.

Clients often work with me because they have experienced trauma/marginalization in their lives that holds them back from living in accordance with their deepest desires, especially as it pertains to the formation and embodiment of their identity. Oftentimes these concerns manifest as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. My work is focused on compassionately exploring and processing your stories to inform how you want to move forward by developing a greater sense of connectedness with your holistic being. I specialize in working with lesbian, gay, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and gender expansive clients although my approach has shown success with clients outside of these demographics. I offer a combination of progressive therapies that feel markedly different than more traditional/mainstream forms of treatment, including Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), delivered through a feminist-oriented framework of Narrative and Somatic work to generate a stronger mind-body connection and guiding sense of directionality in identity expression. My approach is tailored to center you as the expert of your own life so that our time together emphasizes the direction you want to move in. I utilize a range of trauma-informed approaches to match your unique story/needs and am dedicated to establishing safety in the therapeutic space to allow free exploration of self. APRIL 2026: SLIDING FEE AVAILABLE Clients often feel concerned about self-pay therapy, however I offer sliding scale payment to prioritize accessibility. Superbills are also available for out-of-network reimbursement with your insurance provider to offset costs!

I've lived in the Oberlin community for 25 years, serving the Bonner Center, Office of Student Wellness, and Career Services. Infused within these experiences, I owned an integrative bodywork practice, teaching winter term courses and providing private sessions. I've supported countless students living with daily anxiety, relationship conflicts, and hopelessness; leading to sleepless nights, somatic (body) symptoms, and chronic pain. Sometimes these are new feelings, other times they bring old traumas to surface - affecting not only the mind, but your body, heart, and spirit. My approach is person-centered and holistic — actively listening to your story and helping you find your courage. I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist with specialized training in somatic and mindfulness-based therapies. It's amazing how spending an hour a week with someone who is all ears can offer such relief, but it does. I am here to support you in finding your way forward with grace, kindness, and authenticity. I'm happy to offer a free 15 minute meet & greet to see if we are a fit.

I have over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist working with a diverse clientele: All are welcome here. I use brain-based and experiential forms of therapy like EMDR, parts work/IFS, and Inner Twin Therapy to harness your brain's natural capacity for curiosity and learning so that you can relearn how to relate to yourself, others, and the world on your terms. To me, therapy is not a lifestyle so I offer EMDR Intensives and have a mindfulness and skills-based orientation that empowers you to do the work that's needed now, and then return to regular life with a new perspective.
