I have been a psychotherapist since 1990, and a provider at Palmentera & Associates in Oberlin since 2003. I have worked with many college students since joining the Palmentera practice! My specialty areas are trauma, PTSD, and dissociation, as well as depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I am trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and hypnotherapy. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems therapy which is based on the idea that you can heal your own emotional wounds through extending compassion to the many parts of yourself. I aim to create a warm, safe space for self-exploration and personal growth.
