Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.
College life can be exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. If you’re feeling stressed, stuck, anxious, or just want someone to talk to, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.
I’ve spent 25 years working at Oberlin College, including time as an Associate Dean, so I get the pace, the pressure, and the unique world of campus life. I also know how valuable it can be to have a space that’s just for you—one that’s supportive, grounded, and focused on your well-being.
What we’ll work on together:
• Building self-care and self-compassion
• Managing stress and perfectionism
• Boosting confidence and motivation
• Improving relationships—with yourself and others
• Gaining tools to help you move forward
We’ll use whatever approach fits best for you—whether that’s cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, or deeper reflection. Each session is shaped around what you need that day, week, or month. You’re in control of the pace and direction.
This is a space where:
• You can be honest, even when things feel messy
• You’re met with warmth, not judgment
• We can use humor when it helps
• You can reconnect with who you are—and who you’re becoming
Sessions are available in person (if you’re in Lorain County) or fully virtual if you’re not local.
I can provide you with paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network sessions.
