I want to be your partner in holistic Wellness. When we break a bone or become sick, we seek medical treatment. That the same care and attention should be given to our mental health. I believe that therapy is not just about addressing mental health issues—it's about nurturing the whole self, mind, body, and spirit. Therapy also looks different for everyone because our lives are shaped by our experiences, emotions, and somatic responses to everyday life. As your therapist, I will guide you with authenticity and warmth, helping you navigate your unique therapeutic journey.

Welcome! Taking the first steps towards finding a therapist you "click" with can be intimidating (and exhausting) so I give you tons of credit for getting this far. I feel honored to work with my clients because I know how hard it can be to open up about personal things. I believe in the healing power of a strong therapeutic relationship, a relationship where you feel truly "seen" and understood. I like to think of a therapist's role as a supportive, steady companion who walks next to you on your path. While I certainly do not have all the answers, I do have plenty of skills and experience that might be helpful along the way. Part of what I love about being a therapist is hearing people's rich stories of not only heartache and struggle, but resilience and healing. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to talk about those deeply personal experiences. If it sounds like we might "click", feel free to reach out to schedule an intro call. I look forward to it!

I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in working with adolescents and young adults (ages 13 and older) across various biological, psychological, and social backgrounds. My goal is to help you understand yourself within the context of your unique life experiences as you navigate mental health struggles. These may include emotional/behavioral dysregulation, communication challenges, life transitions, academic/work stress, grief/bereavement, LGBTQAI+ issues, harm reduction in substance use, and other day-to-day life stressors. The therapeutic alliance between therapist and patient is the most important part of therapy, and I am passionate about building that foundation of trust with you. Working together, you can expect an empowering, non-judgmental environment with a little sense of humor sprinkled in. I use a warm, welcoming, and person-centered approach to meet you where you’re at in your healing journey, allowing me to tailor my style and interventions to your therapeutic goals and needs. These interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and more structured approaches to best help you meet your therapeutic goals. My path to becoming a therapist began one week into college, when I decided to switch my major from studio art to psychology. The motivation to make this drastic change and give psychology a try came from my own intuition and feeling like I had natural qualities of empathy and introspection. This journey of self-discovery deepened my commitment to helping patients identify what a life worth living and feeling of purpose looks like for them. My journey led me to work in a community agency as a therapist, where I found that my patients’ demographics were very different from one another and, as such, deserved their own unique approaches and integrated mix of interventions. Now, I am passionate about bringing that same energy to my practice at SOL Mental Health! Outside of sessions, I like to enjoy a wide range of hobbies, such as painting, hiking, playing the ukulele, and going to live music concerts.

I specializes in helping people who are having difficulty controlling their gambling. Behaviors such as staying up all night gambling, not attending classes or going to work, isolating, gambling until all your money is gone, lying or stealing to get money with which to gamble, chasing your losses, physically hurting yourself, and thoughts of suicide are common among people who have a gambling problem. Recognizing that you have a problem is the first step and asking for help is the second. Please contact me to take the most important step--doing something to stop the pain caused by problem gambling.

Starting college or graduate school —or navigating your way through them—can be both exciting and overwhelming. Many students find themselves facing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity questions, academic pressure, or major life transitions, often for the first time. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I specialize in working with college students and young adults, and I understand the unique pressures of university life—from managing expectations and finding your place, to coping with self-doubt, loneliness, or burnout. Whether you’re struggling or simply wanting to better understand yourself and grow, therapy can be a space where things begin to feel more manageable and more hopeful. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe that meaningful change happens in a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, where you feel safe to be yourself and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, we’ll work at your pace to better understand your experiences, build resilience, and develop tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, including working in university counseling centers, where I supported students through many of the challenges you may be facing now. I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities, and I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where you feel seen and respected. I also have experience working with international students, students with disabilities and chronic health conditions, Deaf and hard of hearing students, and those navigating complex family or cultural dynamics. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step—but it can also be the beginning of feeling more like yourself again. You deserve support, understanding, and a space to grow. I would be honored to be part of that process with you.

Life is full of transitional moments; changes that impact how we think, how we function, and how we connect to the world. Let us work together to build a positive connection between how you feel, where you are, and where you see yourself. Short-term, goal-oriented therapy is available. Or, perhaps you would prefer to delve deeper into the who, the why, and the how of things. With either modality, you can expect to be met with respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.

I work with college students across New York State through video and phone therapy. Many students I see feel overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, relationship stress, procrastination, or uncertainty about the future. Even high achieving students can feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. Sometimes you need space to vent, process, and feel heard. Other times, you want concrete strategies and a clearer path forward. I believe therapy should be both supportive and active, a place where you can talk honestly about what’s weighing on you while also building practical tools that help you feel better outside of sessions. As a Level 3 certified TEAM CBT therapist, I take a collaborative, goal oriented approach that helps students better understand the patterns keeping them stuck while building skills to manage emotions, improve confidence, and create meaningful change. The insights and strategies you gain in therapy can continue supporting you long after sessions end. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, capable, and connected, reach out for a free 15 minute consultation to see if we’d be a good fit.
