Therapy is an empowering tool for overcoming today's challenges & I am passionate about helping people heal in a safe and accepting environment. I firmly believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each individual's experience, background, and goals are unique and it is my responsibility to respect individuality in the therapeutic process. With over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I have dedicated my career to empowering others. I am continuously inspired by the resilience and strength of those I work with, and it is an honor to witness their transformation into leading a fulfilled life. Throughout my journey in the mental health field, I have developed a profound commitment to understanding and addressing the complexities of anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and thoughts of suicide. My extensive training in these areas has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to support people of all ages in their most vulnerable moments. Outside of my professional life, I find joy and balance in the great outdoors. Snowboarding, camping, and hiking with my dog are some of my favorite activities, as they allow me to reconnect with nature and inspire me to be present and mindful. Starting therapy is a brave step, and it’s one I deeply honor. Whether you're navigating a life transition, experiencing relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a warm and collaborative space to explore what’s beneath the surface—with curiosity, care, and a sense of purpose. I specialize in working with couples who are feeling disconnected, frustrated, or trapped in recurring patterns. I also enjoy working with individuals and teens navigating life’s inevitable changes—whether that’s a shift in identity, career, loss, or relational challenges. My therapeutic style is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which means we’ll explore how early life experiences may still be shaping your present relationships and patterns. I hold a B.A in Psychology with a minor in Family Relations, which fueled my passion in understanding human development, relational dynamics and systems that influence who we become. Originally from the Bay Area, I made Reno my home a few years ago. When not in session, you can find me with my American Bully enjoying nature, exploring new food, or collecting vinyl records as I love music. If you’re ready to start exploring what’s holding you back and how to move forward with clarity and connection, I would be honored to work with you.

Healing from trauma is not easy. And I don't believe sugarcoating how difficult this process may be, is beneficial to anyone. I also know picking the right therapist for this process may be difficult. Which is why I encourage having a free phone consultation. I'm excited that you have begun this process of healing, and look forward to playing a role in your journey. I have been working with survivors of trauma for the last 6 years. I've specialized in working with survivors of sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, intimate partner violence and abuse. I have seen how traumatic experiences such as these can have a lifelong impact on an individual. My goal is to integrate mind, body, and spirit to facilitate healing. We will utilize animals, mindfulness, movement, art, and music throughout your healing process - along with EMDR, CBT, ACT, and parts/inner child work. I recognize that each client has individual needs and goals. So we will create a customized treatment plan with your goals, to review often, and ensure we are meeting your desired healing and growth. I look forward to supporting you in getting your power and your life back from these horrific experiences you've had to experience. You deserve that healing!

OCD isn't always visible, but it can be isolating. It can look like constant reassurance seeking, endless googling, mental reviewing, disgust, intrusive sexual thoughts, fears of harming others, frequent checking, or needing certainty. My ideal patient is ready to prioritize long-term relief over short-term comfort; you want to stop surviving and start living. We’ll lean into the fear together, dismantling shame, intrusive thoughts, avoidance, and more one step at a time. If you're looking for someone you can relate with, we'll probably get along well if you like tattoos, anime, video games, emo music, overachieving, or saying fuck. Looking for OCD therapy in Reno? I specialize in compassionate exposure therapies for those ready to face the discomfort of uncertainty to find lasting freedom. I integrate specialized ERP training, a gold standard treatment for OCD, with mindfulness and skills. I offer a structured, collaborative path to help you master your anxiety and live fully present. I understand how hard it can be to reach out for help. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy can sound intimidating, but we'll never throw you into your biggest fear. Consent is the biggest part. Let's work together, one step at a time. You deserve a life defined by your values, not your anxiety. Text, email, or call me today to get started!

My goal for therapy is to work towards helping my clients find the strength and resilience needed to get through what life brings to the table. I am a certified EMDR therapist, though I use multiple therapeutic approaches with each client and tailor therapy to each individual's needs. I take great pride in building a strong therapeutic relationship with the clients I see, as I believe that is the foundation of therapy! I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families as a whole. I love watching people grow throughout the therapeutic process, whether that entails mending strained relationships, working through trauma(s), embarking on a new journey, or finding personal strength. My passion to help others is what motivates me daily. It may be nerve wracking, overwhelming, and/or slightly uncomfortable, but just know that I am here to help, however I can. It can seem like a challenge to find a good therapist, but it is absolutely worth it to push forward until you find the best fit for you. I am licensed in New York, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, and South Carolina. Please note: I am not paneled with any insurance companies in Colorado, Florida, Nevada, or South Carolina.
