I enjoy working with a variety of adult populations including LGBTQIA+, first responders, active and retired military members, their families, and dependents. I've assisted clients through their journey with grief, PTSD, relationship stresses, depression, and mood disorders for the past 5 years. If you are struggling with intrusive thoughts, depression, isolation, or anxiety I am happy to assist you in uncovering the source of these concerns and work with you toward getting back to a more positive place in your life.

I'm so glad you're here! Pursuing therapy is a courageous choice that can feel daunting and uncertain. I hope to demystify the process and encourage feelings of trust, safety, and empowerment. My goal is to help folks gain insight, learn new coping strategies, and increase their self-confidence, self-compassion, and self-advocacy. It is important to me to get to know you, how you see the world, and the ways in which your identities, lived experiences, and environment impact your mental health and coping. I provide individual and group therapy services to adult clients. I also provide psychological assessment and evaluation. I specialize in working with trauma, OCD and anxiety disorders, and body image and eating concerns. Additionally, I enjoy helping individuals gain insight into their relationships, interpersonal patterns, and intersecting identities. Having worked in several college counseling centers, I especially enjoy working with young adults. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy, whether to address a specific concern, to strengthen existing coping strategies, or to increase confidence and facilitate personal growth. While you are the expert on your life, I offer expertise as a psychologist to help you build the life you want to live and navigate life's challenges with more ease. I am a PSYPACT provider, meaning I can provide teletherapy to individuals in participating states. I provide virtual appointments to individuals in North Carolina.
In addition to my private practice, I also work at a university counseling center, which keeps me in tune and up to date on what today's college students are experiencing. I've worked with both traditional and non-traditional students throughout my career and enjoy helping students get back on their path to success. Many of the students I help are struggling with anxiety, depression, academic concerns, or family/relationship issues. My clients enjoy having a non-biased person to support them as they become more independent and explore who they are as a person. College is an exciting time, but can also be stressful and overwhelming. As human beings, we don't like change, and going to college means a lot of changes happening at once...again, exciting, but also scary! I help my clients learn the skills needed to feel capable, resilient, an ultimately successful in both their academic and personal life.
Life can be relentless and present challenges that feel overwhelming. It takes strength to ask for help and courage to become vulnerable with someone new. I recognize this and will work at your pace to form a trusting relationship with you where you can feel safe, validated, and respected. I have experience working with teens and adults who find themselves worrying about the future or things they cannot control. I have worked with people who are processing past hurtful and stressful life events so they can find a sense of strength and security in the present. I enjoy helping people see their worth so their self-talk transforms. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while learning skills to better navigate their daily life. I also incorporate mindfulness exercises to build a stronger mind-body connection and stay grounded in the present moment. You are worthy of having an unbiased space where you feel safe to process your experiences.
I’m Chesilin Suek, PMHNP, and I’m dedicated to helping adults and teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that dims their spark, ADHD that makes life feel like constant catch-up, or OCD that traps them in exhausting cycles. Together, we create space for healing, clarity, and forward momentum. I offer a supportive, judgment-free environment where you’re met with understanding, encouragement, and respect every step of the way. My approach focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms. While I provide evidence-based medication support when appropriate, I also look at sleep, stress, relationships, lifestyle, and the deeper patterns that influence how you feel and function day to day. Care is never one-size-fits-all; we work collaboratively to create a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and real life. You are not broken, weak, or a burden—you’re human, doing your best in a world that can feel overwhelming. You deserve to feel better, not just get by. You deserve hope, energy, and something to look forward to. You don’t have to keep surviving on autopilot. Together, we’ll untangle what’s holding you back and work toward the life you’ve been wanting and deserve.

Hello! Searching for a counselor can be a very overwhelming task, but a good fit is so important. In my practice I use evidenced-based practices and strive to make them unique to each client. Some of us process by talking, walking, singing, creating or playing and therapy should be a place to process in a safe and familiar way. I have walked along side people who are hurting, lonely, hopeless, feeling stuck, facing big transitions and are looking for a safe place to land. If you think I would be a good fit or would like to learn more please check out my website at www.sarardore.com. Be kind to yourself, you will get through this.

You are deserving of purpose, meaning and joy in your life and we will work together to discover what your unique needs are so that you can live in closer alignment with your goals and values. Therapy is not a mysterious process where the counselor holds The Answers. Therapy is a collaboration between a therapist and client who both show up and do the work. I believe firmly in the axiom “no judgements during adjustments” and offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore new ways of thinking, living and doing the deep, meaningful work to get you where you’d like to be. I'm Jess, and I am a queer neurodivergent therapist who practices LGBTQIA+ friendly, Autistic and ADHD affirming, and trauma-informed therapy. It's my passion to support folks who are feeling the weight of shame and self-doubt, questioning where they belong/who they are, and struggling in their relationship with food and body. I know how painful it can be to feel out of place and like you're trying to fit into a mold that just doesn't feel right for you, so it's important to me to cultivate a space where you can feel like it's celebrated to be you. In our space, there is no such thing as being "too sensitive" or "too much." I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, so my work is grounded in developing compassionate, trusting relationships with clients. I prioritize being mindful of how my privileged identities, including being white and thin, impact the therapeutic relationship. I am committed to engaging in ongoing anti-oppressive learning outside of sessions. In therapy, I incorporate somatic and relational approaches, including Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR. I strongly believe in client autonomy and respect for the different ways we all adapt to find safety and connection. If you long for more peace in your relationship with yourself and others, please reach out!
