I am a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts, specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults. I aim to provide a culturally responsive, non-judgmental, yet direct approach to therapy, with the goal of helping my clients find confidence and purpose in not only their strengths, but their weaknesses. I work with clients and families to address life’s challenges by helping them to examine interpersonal relationships, process difficult thoughts and emotions, explore healthy coping strategies and find tangible solutions. I have been trained in a variety of modalities for the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief and loss and trauma-related disorders. I utilize an eclectic, client-centered approach, drawing from techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Strength-based Relational Therapy. Although reaching out for support can feel daunting, I urge you to see the strength in your vulnerability. You are choosing to take time for YOU and your emotional wellness. I am currently accepting new patients, via telemedicine. Please feel free to send me an email to set up a complimentary 15-minute consultation.

I work collaboratively with students who face a variety of challenges, including life transitions, relationship issues, and navigating queer identities. College and graduate school typically occur at pivotal developmental points for people in terms of figuring out who they are, what they want, and separating/individuating from parental figures. Together, we will work to understand your inner life, what works and what doesn't in terms of your thinking, behavior and ways of relating to others. Often, patterns develop that help us stay safe and secure when we're young, but would benefit from re-examination and modification to live a more fulfilling adult life. I have a sub-specialty working with people with Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), a highly distressing fixation on a perceived appearance defect that can impact daily functioning and quality of life. I help you understand where the appearance fixation originated, including negative self appraisals and rituals/compulsions that accompany BDD. Learning to face feared and avoided situations is a gradual process that takes place over time, freeing you from the hold of BDD and leading to improved functioning and a more satisfying life.

Are you self-aware, but still stuck in the same painful patterns? Feeling things intensely and struggling with emotional balance? Can't get your mind to calm down or your thoughts to stop racing? Healing, growth, and inner calm are absolutely possible. With 15 years experience working in social services, first as a health educator and then as a licensed therapist, there's not much I haven't seen or heard before. I use science-backed methods to identify what's blocking progress, and create personalized approaches that address root causes, not just the symptoms. My style is conversational & collaborative. I believe each person is more than a diagnosis & I work with you to identify the unique thought/emotion patterns and nervous system reactions you couldn't spot on your own, and create a personalized treatment approach which ensures therapy actually works.

I am a psychotherapist with over 18 years of experience in clinical practice. In working together, it is my hope that we can create a safe space where you can slow down, pause, breathe and self-reflect. A moment of reflection, clarity, and deep connection to yourself. A dedicated space for curiosity and collaboration where we identify ways in which you can learn to welcome and cope more constructively with your feelings and thoughts, improve and strengthen your interpersonal relationships, and increase your awareness about how your life experiences may be impacting your overall well-being. I am an active clinician, who will engage you on a compassionate level through attentive and thoughtful listening. I acknowledge and appreciate your strengths and resilience when facing challenging circumstances in your life. Fundamentally, my goal is to help empower you by bolstering your internal resources to help you move towards a more fulfilling life. My therapeutic style is a mix of cognitive behavioral, relational, and mindfulness-based interventions. I can offer you an approach that is individually tailored to your unique goals, needs, strengths and challenges. I feel privileged that this is my life's work, and I appreciate your consideration to allow me to accompany you on your healing journey.

Currently offering Telehealth sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Congrats! You have done the first and often hardest step of finding a therapist. During these difficult times, it makes sense that you might be feeling lost and needing more support. This time can be especially hard for people who have experienced trauma or struggle with anxiety and depression. I specialize in working with young adults who have gone through recent or past trauma(s) or who struggle with long term depression or anxiety. I want to teach you the skills that you need to be your own therapist. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidence based practice, that helps you learn the skills to become your own therapist. CBT is a collaborative approach that empowers you to be in the driver's seat of your treatment. Through my experience and research, CBT has show to be beneficial for those who struggle with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. It is important to me to provide a non-judgmental, empathetic place where you can share your thoughts and feelings.

With advanced training in perinatal and postpartum mental health, I'll work to help you feel more like yourself again. Together, we’ll create space for what you’re feeling and build tools to manage it. There is no problem too big or too small that can’t be improved with another perspective. There is no goal that can’t be reached with hard work, support and humor. In my 10 years as a Social Worker, I have worked with my clients during difficult times, various transitions and everyday life stressors. I also have experience working with individuals and families impacted by intellectual disabilities. I love hearing stories: about your day, your family, the good, the bad and everything in between. Through hearing the patterns and outlining your goals, we pick a framework together that will help you achieve whatever you put your mind to. I use evidence based practices as a guide and together we figure out the best fit for you. We’ll start with whatever story brought you in to seek help, in as little or as much detail as you feel comfortable sharing. Then we will discuss what your goals of therapy are and what clinical tools sound like they have the best chance of getting you there. We create a vision together, draw a road map, and get to work.

Do you ever feel like life is harder than it should be? Maybe emotions feel overwhelming, relationships leave you drained, or loneliness creeps in even when you’re not alone. Stress, anxiety, and depression don’t have to define your story. With support and collaboration, I’ll help you uncover your strengths, build effective tools, and create a life that feels balanced, connected, and meaningful. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you manage intense emotions, build stronger relationships, and create healthier patterns. Together, we’ll strengthen skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and communication to support a life aligned with your values. Starting therapy takes courage, but you don’t have to face it alone. I provide a compassionate space where you can heal, grow, and move forward. Psychologist
Bonita Springs, FL

Hello and welcome. I'm Dr. Anthony Galati, a licensed clinical psychologist with over six years of experience working alongside individuals navigating life’s many complexities. I firmly believe that each of us is faced with our own unique challenges— chapters in the larger story or song of our lives. While no two journeys are exactly alike, we all know what it means to struggle. I also believe that one of the most powerful things we can do is allow ourselves to be vulnerable enough to share those struggles with someone who truly listens. I work from an integrative framework, recognizing that while many experiences may overlap, every individual’s lived experience is distinct. My foundation is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which helps us explore how past experiences may shape current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. From there, I tailor interventions to support self-awareness, emotional processing, and meaningful change. In addition to psychodynamic work, I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This allows me to tailor sessions to your needs. Phone: (609) 300 - 4358
