I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing ethical, evidence-based mental health care. My professional approach is rooted in a holistic, patient-centered model that respects your individual needs, experiences, and cultural background. I believe every patient is different, which is why I curate individualized care plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle adjustments, or a combination of these approaches. My goal is to promote healing, recovery, and overall well-being while building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University and bring extensive knowledge and expertise in diagnosing, treating, and evaluating a wide range of mental health conditions. By combining clinical knowledge, patient advocacy, and the adaptability of telemedicine, I ensure that my practice continually evolves with the most up-to-date psychiatric nursing standards. The process begins with an initial consultation where we review your history, current symptoms, and overall wellness. From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan together, adjusting as needed through ongoing communication. I invite you to book your appointment today so we can begin working toward lasting progress and meaningful change.
College is a challenge, on its own, in many ways. It can cause significant stress as well as trigger new or exacerbate existing mental health symptoms. Having space to work through the stress or symptoms you are experiencing can be incredibly beneficial (e.g. reduced stress, increased happiness, decrease in symptoms and/or severity, etc.), which can contribute to greater success and a greater overall experience during these years. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and confidential therapy space that respects all identities and backgrounds where people can feel free to be their most authentic selves. I strive for people to feel comfortable in letting go of filters that tend to restrict them in honest disclosure and deep processing of their experiences. Thank you for taking the time to read about the practice and considering Sage Serenity Counseling. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to get started. I am ready to support you whenever you are ready!
Hi, my practice is here to support those struggling with disordered eating, body image issues, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. Most of my clients come to me due to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, and have a feeling of just surviving. I utilize a variety of different modalities based on the individuals needs. I often will encourage clients to process feelings from the inside out this allows for a deeper connection to your authentic self and sets you up to have your needs met. Some practices I may use are mindfulness, breathing practices, brainspotting, and guided somatic practices.
Sometimes it's really hard for us to ask for help-especially when you're a strong, independent woman. Therapy is a great way to reach out, learn more about yourself, and grow through any challenges you might be facing. I help women who want to change their relationship with food and their bodies. I work with women in individual, group, & virtual therapy. I have a holistic approach that covers a wide range of symptoms & issues, but I enjoy helping clients who have struggled with their weight make peace with food. I love working with college women who are graduating & seeking support for the transition, and specialize in those women experiencing a "quarter life crisis". I also have a lot of experience helping women with recovering from sexual trauma. I love working with women who may have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or abortion as well, and offer an non-judgemental, pro-choice arena to explore emotions. Starting therapy can seem scary, but its brave to get some help! Make the decision to feel better today. I am an Out of Network insurance provider-contact your insurance to see if you qualify for these benefits. Flexible spending and HSA accepted as payment. It's wonderful you're taking the step to care for your mental health! I have a heart for college and graduate students and understand the unique stressors of university life, such as academic pressure, social anxieties, and the transition to independence. I am also passionate about helping individuals explore how their cultural and ethnic identities and upbringing interplay with their mental well-being, including the experiences related to cultural identity and navigating multiple cultural spaces. My background as a teacher, HR professional, writer, wife, mother, and therapist has broadened my empathy and understanding of diverse experiences. I graduated with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University and am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), a well-researched method for trauma. I offer a collaborative therapeutic approach, and utilize many researched methods tailored to your individual needs. I understand that family history and early relationships can significantly impact mental health, so I often begin by exploring these areas. Together, we'll create a plan to achieve your goals. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, but I have a special fondness of college and graduate students during this unique time of exploration and adjustment. Please reach out, and let's figure things out together!

Colorful Resilience is a Queer-Afro-Latina-owned outpatient mental health services office in West Springfield, Massachusetts. We proudly provide therapy – primarily, but not exclusively – to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, First Generation, and immigrant folks. For clients in the Western MA area, we offer in-person consultations and virtually for those all across Massachusetts. Due to a lack of clinical representation and cultural competency in the mental health field, the BIPOC, LGBTQ+, First Generation, and immigrant communities have historically been underserved. Colorful Resilience hopes to remedy such disparity by ensuring all our team members are representatives of the communities we serve, fearless allies, or both. Not only utilizing education but also lived experiences to provide the most relevant behavioral health services.

It cannot be overstated what a big deal it is that you have begun to explore finding support for yourself. This first step is one of the hardest. I’d be honored to be a resource for you during this time, and accompany you as you grow and change. The majority of my clients are high achievers of all stripes, from Ivy League students to folks attending competitive conservatories and art schools. I was a performing artist (actor, singer, musician) for 12 years in New York City before changing careers, and I specialize in working with folks who have creative identities. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent, and most also find themselves in overfunctioning/underfunctioning dynamics in their relationships. My main therapy modality is Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as somatic mindfulness-based therapy (Hakomi), and experiential therapy (gestalt). Basically this means that, in therapy, I will support you in getting more familiar with your internal system by helping you track what’s happening in your mind, your body, and between you and I (the therapist and the client). I’ll also guide you towards deepening your relationship with the different “parts” of your system, learning their agendas and desires, which sometimes produce inner conflicts and create stuckness. It’s well-known that being mindful of your body and breath is a great way to reduce stress, and using this practice as real situations arise in therapy will give you a practical way to use it in your day-to-day. As you get to know your system better, you will build greater trust within yourself, allowing for stuck parts to shift and for real lasting change to occur. If you’ve been in therapy before and it just felt like venting, IFS will be different. Pro tip: the research suggests that the therapy modality you use is less important than a trusting relationship with your therapist as far as positive therapy outcomes (though I will happily talk IFS theory for days). Do your best to go with your gut feeling about who intuitively feels right when choosing a therapist, even if right now might be the hardest time to do so. If something about my practice resonates, please reach out and schedule a consultation! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
