I am a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and somatic (body) based therapy. I enjoy working with young adults by supporting them find meaning and agency in their lives and understand the multitude of stressors we are collectively facing. I view the therapeutic process as collaborative and especially like to work with clients who are willing to engage I the process of growth and transformation.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals with autism, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD. I take a neuropositive perspective, which means I want my clients to understand and embrace their neurodivergence while also building awareness of some of the aspects of their neurodivergence that can limit them at times (i.e. mental inflexibility). My approach is warm and empathetic, however I also believe in being direct with my clients and in challenging them to push themselves towards growth and resilience. I use a blend of modalities tailored to the needs of the individual. I like to use rating scales to better understand my clients' areas of strength and need. I believe in setting and resetting goals as therapy progresses. This means I like to remind my clients of our focus, evaluate progress and whether or not the goal still makes sense for them, and adjust accordingly. My hope is that you will better understand yourself and why you do what you do. My goal is that you will gain skills and perspective to be able to effectively cope with the challenges life brings.

Healing is deeply personal, and having the right support can make all the difference. As a licensed therapist with three years of experience, I’m dedicated to helping people across the lifespan navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, and the emotional weight that can accumulate over time. Whether you're working through a painful experience, building more confidence in yourself, or simply looking for steadier ground, you'll find a space here that is empathetic, honest, and completely free of judgment. Therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection grounded in compassion and respect, and that's exactly what you can expect with me. My goal is to be a steady, supportive presence you feel genuinely comfortable with as you work toward healing, confidence, and personal growth that feel meaningful and lasting. Together, we'll create a supportive, down-to-earth space where you feel heard, understood, and never judged. My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible, ensuring your healing environment is always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experience. Drawing on evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR, we'll build healthy coping skills, process difficult experiences, and support your overall emotional well-being to create positive change. Trauma-informed care is central to how I work, and empowering you throughout your healing journey is something I am genuinely passionate about. You set the direction; I'll help you find the way forward. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experience in therapy and the profound impact of having people truly in my corner during some of the most difficult seasons of my life. Those relationships stayed with me, and they continue to shape how I show up for every person I work with. This foundation deepened my commitment to care that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and centered on each person’s experience. In every session, I bring empathy, honesty, and genuine respect for the process, with the intention of creating a space where you feel safe enough to be real, supported as you are, and encouraged in your own healing. Outside of the therapy room, I find restoration in nature, whether that's going for walks, hiking, biking, or simply being outdoors to unplug and reset. Traveling and exploring new places brings me a lot of joy, as does unhurried time with family and friends. When I'm winding down at the end of the day, you'll likely find me working on a puzzle while listening to a podcast, a simple combination that helps me slow down and recharge.

It’s my privilege to listen to your story. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s rare to truly talk, share, and connect without distractions. You might be surprised by how much you can learn about yourself just by hearing your own words during therapy. My approach is all about meeting you where you are, with empathy and compassion. I believe in the power of a genuine, healing relationship that helps you grow and thrive. You are a dynamic, one-of-a-kind individual, and my role is to support you in living authentically as we explore your depth together. I will guide you in cultivating a true relationship with yourself through the art of self-reflection. This is your opportunity to be curious, open, and to let go of any limiting beliefs about who you think you are. If you can’t find the perfect solution to magically feel better, you might as well live with the nagging feeling of failure. Fail Better! You probably never considered that “failing better” could be a remedy—especially for how you're feeling right now. But now that I’ve got your attention, you're in the right place to reconnect with your true potential, which is capable of success beyond what you can imagine right now. Here’s the thing: it’s not failure that’s holding you back; it’s the belief that you need to be perfect or find the perfect solution. Your challenges do not define you. You are the author of your story and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), my focus is on helping patients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, and ADHD. Together, we work on effectively coping with these issues and managing their impact on other areas of life, such as difficulty communicating, feeling connected within relationships, or feeling overwhelmed while managing stress. For those who have experienced loss, I offer support in working through the grief process at their own pace. No matter the struggle, I’m here to provide a space where you can process and accept the areas of life and the pieces of yourself that feel challenging to face. Starting with a new therapist comes with a lot of unknowns, and I invite you to reach out with any questions you have. I'm excited to assist you in the process of building a life that is aligned with the most authentic version of yourself. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship between counselor and patient as we move toward your goals. My approach primarily draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), focused on helping you identify your values in order to work toward a meaningful life. Living in alignment with what matters most to you is, I believe, how you become the most authentic version of yourself. Sessions are direct and Mindfulness-based, designed to promote presence in the here and now while engaging in lasting transformation and healing. My goal is for you to feel safe and heard as you create change through your therapeutic journey. Early in my life, I struggled with my experience of neurodivergence. My first therapist had a huge impact on my life, helping me understand and accept that I am a whole person made up of many characteristics aside from my diagnosis. Since that first experience with therapy, my journey has involved figuring out who I am and what is important to me in my life. I want to offer others that same opportunity for self-exploration and discovery by creating a space where you can be open, authentic, and feel a little less alone in your experience. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and camping, spending time with my cat, painting and drawing, attending concerts, and caring for my plants.
I specialize in working with clients who are navigating the adjustment to college, body image and self esteem, eating disorders, relationship concerns and boundary setting as well as identity development. My personal identities include: child of immigrants, millennial, cis woman, queer, & mostly able bodied. I find joy in working with: fat/larger bodied folks, the global majority/children of immigrants, & 2SLGBTQIA+. I found that navigating both my culture and what society expected of me was in a lot of ways harmful to my mental health and safety. I continue to go on my own journey of therapy, finding safe community and exploring my own biases. I often watch anime, play video games, board games, and love to bring those into session if appropriate. The topics, tools and space we create together are to support your exploration. Our clinical space will be filled with self compassion so that we can integrate your mind, body, and soul in healing relationships with your own body and others. Through my living/ed experience as a fat person of color, I welcome conversations about intersectionality and systemic oppression. I have spent the majority of my career supporting people of color navigate through different phases of life, especially in college years. We will explore safety in the body, grounding, expressing complex thoughts/feelings, family dynamics and patterns that may or may not serve you anymore. My hope is that you’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself, celebrate who you are, and recognize the tools you have to support your wellness. My clinical approach: fat liberation, anti-racist, intersectional lens, and sex positive.
