Hello and welcome. My name is Victoria, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker dedicated to providing compassionate and empowering support. With a strong background in mental health, I create a safe, respectful, and empathetic space where you can feel heard and valued. I believe in your inherent strength and resilience, and my approach is designed to foster personal insight, address challenges, and explore new paths to healing. Together, we will navigate your mental health journey with purpose and compassion, working towards your well-being, growth, and self-discovery. I look forward to being a part of your journey.
I work with individuals and couples. Especially those who are POC, apart of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as people in nontraditional relationship or family structures. These folks are often those who are navigating identity exploration, societal pressures, relationship dynamics, & the constant overwhelm of modern life. I believe in creating the kind of place where people can be real, messy, and still be held with care. My approach is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in curiosity. I meet clients where they are, helping them feel seen, build self-trust, and foster more honest and connected relationships. Using body-based, community, & communication focused techniques, I help you reconnect with your authentic self. Rooted in social justice, our work blends open dialogue, hands-on exploration, and storytelling. Whether you're unpacking internalized narratives or navigating life transitions, I offer space to heal, grow, and connect with compassion & intention. Taking this step takes real courage, and I commend you for starting this journey of self-discovery. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly explore and grow. Please reach out today to schedule a free consultation, and let’s begin this journey together.
Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I enjoy working with college students and have experience working in a college counseling center. I enjoy helping people with depression, anxiety, and other problems navigating challenges related to academics, identity, family issues, and relationships. I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ (and trans people in particular), children of immigrants, and international students.
You’re doing fine. So why doesn’t it feel like it? Maybe you’re keeping up with school, showing up for your friends, and getting through your days, but underneath it all, you feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Maybe you overthink everything. You second-guess your decisions. You have a hard time saying no without feeling guilty. Your relationships leave you confused or drained. You keep falling into the same patterns even though you understand what you should do differently. Or maybe you’re going through a major transition and realizing that the person you’ve been becoming doesn’t quite feel like you anymore. That’s the kind of work I love doing. At Inner Axis Therapy, I work with college students and young adults who want more than coping skills and advice. We slow things down and get curious about why you respond the way you do, where those patterns came from, and what you actually want your life and relationships to look like. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and down-to-earth. You don’t have to come in with a diagnosis, a perfectly explained problem, or even know exactly what you need. We can start with, “Something just doesn’t feel right, and I want to understand why.” My goal isn’t to help you become a version of yourself that simply functions better. It’s to help you develop a stronger sense of who you are, trust yourself more, build healthier relationships, and make choices that feel more aligned with the person you want to become. You’re allowed to be figuring it out. Therapy can be part of that process.
Have you been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like you're running on empty? Maybe you're anxious, down, or trying to heal from painful experiences that still echo into your present. Perhaps you’re struggling to find your rhythm in a fast-moving world, or questioning your direction altogether. Life can feel especially heavy when you’re carrying it alone. But here’s the thing—you don’t have to. It's okay to be unsure or even scared about starting this journey. What matters most is that you're here, looking for a new way forward. And we're here to walk alongside you. We provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based therapy for adults navigating emotional and psychological challenges. We are a social justice oriented psychotherapy collective, committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for all clients to explore their lived experiences.
Navigating college life can be exciting, but it also comes with challenges—academic pressure, personal growth, relationships, and emotional struggles. At Renewed Hope Counseling & Wellness, PLLC, I specialize in helping college students manage anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, and narcissistic abuse. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual. Whether you're struggling with overwhelming stress, healing from past trauma, or seeking clarity in relationships, I provide a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences and develop effective coping strategies. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and empowerment-based counseling, I help students build resilience, regain confidence, and create meaningful change. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone—I'm here to support you every step of the way.

College is exciting! It can also be terrifying, overwhelming, and lonely. Even if you have your educational and career path chosen and locked in. For most young adults, it's their first time living independently and truly stepping into this thing called adulthood. There is a new level of responsibility that can feel like it's too much. Do you find yourself feeling anxious before classes or social events that are supposed to be THE thing in college? Maybe you're finding it harder and harder to get out of bed, go to work, complete your assignments, or to even hang out with friends. You may find yourself questioning your choices about any and everything, including school. Finding who you are as a young adult, independent of your family can be daunting. On the other side of the college journey is preparing to graduate and step into the professional world. All of these experiences are likely to bring up stress and conflicting emotions within you. In our work together you will find a safe and affirming place to explore who you are, what you want and where you're going. You will learn ways to recognize, honor and manage your feelings in ways that are inline with your values. You will be able to talk about the hard stuff, while also finding moments of humor in this ride we call life. Are you ready to feel more in control of your feelings and more confident as you step into the next phase of life? Reach out to me and let's do this!
Hello, I’m Joanna, a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist dedicated to helping adults, college students, and student-athletes navigate life’s challenges. Hi there. I work with teens and adults through complex trauma, relationships, life transitions, grief, anxiety and depression (to name a few). I also work with the marginalized in our communities, BIPOC, disabled, persons with chronic/rare illness and LGBTQ+. My practice is open to all. If you are feeling stuck or unsure about your next steps, I can help. I practice by getting in touch with our nervous systems as we navigate life's hardships. I use emotionally focused therapy and some somatic work. Get in touch should you need an empathetic person to walk side by side with you or if you would like to gain skills to help communicate with others.
As an LCSW, I specialize in helping teens and young adults navigate the challenges of life, including depression, anxiety, identity exploration, self-esteem, and the transitions that come with growing up. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions. I am fat-positive, sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and deeply committed to inclusivity, helping you embrace your authentic self in a world that often pressures us to be anything but. I am also deeply passionate about Health at Every Size (HAES), dismantling diet culture, and supporting life-enhancing, joyful movement that honors your body. I believe that health and wellness should be about well-being, not conforming to societal ideals or restrictive norms. I use an eclectic blend of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. I also incorporate expressive arts therapy to encourage creativity and self-expression. In addition to traditional therapy, I bring my dog, Finn, to sessions to offer extra support and comfort, creating a calming and compassionate space for healing. If you're looking to explore your true self, manage your emotions, or work through life’s transitions, I’m here to guide you on your journey!
We offer trauma informed therapy for children, teens, and adults, in-person in South Austin, telehealth available to all Texas residents. I specialize in helping women in their 20s and 30s who are struggling with anxiety in relationships and sex, or those who are processing past sexual trauma or toxic relationships. Many of my clients notice patterns or traits within themselves which are impacting their relationships and intimacy, leaving them feeling disconnected and at a loss for what might help. In addition to my work with adults, I also enjoy working with children and adolescents (ages 3-18), especially those who are neurodivergent or highly sensitive. With a background as a Preschool Teacher, a Registered Behavior Technician working with children on the Autism Spectrum, and as a long-time babysitter, I am able to connect deeply with young people to help them feel understood. My personal experience growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, which manifested as an inability to regulate my emotions, extreme sensitivity, and emotional outbursts, informs this work. I approach this work as an opportunity to nurture my own inner child and offer the support I wish I’d had growing up. I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based approach to play therapy in order to help the children I work with feel safe to express themselves authentically. My approach is compassionate and trauma-informed, integrating Nervous System Regulation, Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory, and Trauma-Informed Care to help you rebuild trust in yourself and cultivate healthier relationships. My priority is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable exploring your emotions and experiences without judgment. In our work together, we’ll explore your past and present, identify patterns, and create a plan for healing.
