Haunted by your past? Memories ambush your daily peace? Anxiety spikes at the wrong moment? You might find yourself perpetually on guard, exhausted from the never-ending battle against emotional triggers, barely catching a break on what should be good days. This relentless stress can gnaw at your core, making even your best days feel overshadowed by an ever-present cloud of past hurts. The weight of these memories can make it feel impossible to move forward, as they color every interaction and experience with their shadow. Imagine actually looking forward to your days, feeling calm where there used to be chaos. Clients often tell me how they’ve turned corners—they’re not just getting through the day; they’re fully participating in it. They laugh more, and handle life's surprises with a steadiness they thought was gone for good.

You are tired of feeling unfulfilled and dissatisfied with life. You are at the point where you know something has to change–even if you don’t know exactly what that is or what it may look like. You are ready to take the first step to truly living the life you would like to live: To find and connect with what is important to you and be the best version of yourself you can be. You are ready to find a new way of living that leads to happiness and fulfillment instead of depression, anxiety, or substance abuse. I can help by: Identifying thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are causing you to be less like the person you want to be; helping you learn and use strategies that will give you the ability to respond in healthy ways despite your situation or symptoms; and by clarifying what is important to you so you can find the motivation to get better. If you are ready to start living a life full of fulfillment and freedom, then I am here to start the journey with you. By working as a team, I am confident that your life will begin to get better and continue to improve long after our work together is complete.

Change, even the kind we choose, can be disorienting. Having someone in your corner who’s not just an ally, but an accomplice, can make the process feel a little less overwhelming. That’s the role I aim to play: a collaborative navigator while you remain the captain of your own journey. Whether it's racing thoughts that won’t shut off, stuck patterns we’re ready to unlearn, or the sheer weight of stress that feels too much, I’ll be in your corner. Together, we'll explore what’s going on beneath the surface and chart a path ahead. I help clients untangle anxiety, perfectionism, and identity struggles so they can feel grounded and authentic. I work especially with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent folks, offering a gender-affirming, nonjudgmental space that honors all relationship styles and helps you reconnect with your sense of agency. Whether you're unraveling old patterns, navigating relationships, or simply trying to feel more at home in yourself, you don’t have to do it alone. I’d be honored to walk beside you as you tend your flame and build a life that feels true to who you are. Feel free to call or text to see if we'll be a good fit.

I utilize an integrative, client-centered approach. My approach to therapy is informed by acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, somatic experiencing, and solution-focused therapy. While I do have a background in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (tf-CBT) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT), I work to tailor the therapeutic approach to the needs of each client individually. I practice from a gender-affirming, sex-positive, intersectional, and client-empowering standpoint. I am heavily trauma-informed, allowing for a safe space to facilitate collaboration, processing, and healing.

I enjoy working with adults, couples, teenagers, and their families to meet their unique challenges, and focus on building a collaborative relationship in order to identify, highlight and utilize my client’s inherent strengths to promote self-awareness, self-acceptance and enhance my client’s ability and willingness to make their own decisions based on their unique lived experiences and their individual motivations and expectations. I provide inclusive, evidence-based, solution-focused emotional, mental and behavioral therapies using a variety of modalities depending upon my patient’s presenting issues and objectives. My training and practice covers challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, infidelity and neurodiversity. As a therapist, I am here to help my client obtain his/her/their goals, not to impose my beliefs. My general treatment approach is client/person-centered (Rogerian) and includes principles of Family Systems, Attachment, and Existential theories.
