My goal as a therapist is to engage authentically, share honestly, and think openly. I have been fortunate to work with people in end of life care, chronic illness, grief and loss, incarceration, addiction, immigration, autism, depression, anxiety, trauma, and have spent most of my career supporting youth and families through a variety of life stages and challenges. I provide opportunities for people to engage in experiences that will expand their understanding, explore their circumstances, and develop resources for their unique journey. In sessions we talk and try new and creative things to help you heal, grow, learn, and move forward. We develop resources and practice skills to apply in your life. These can include emotional and physical pain management, healthy coping skills, improved communication, stress management, strengthening relationships, and processing loss and trauma. I am always willing to have a conversation through email, phone, or in person. I will gladly answer any question and address concerns you may be having. I am passionate about connecting people to resources. So, even if we are not an ideal fit, I will connect you to trusted therapists or service providers who will best meet your unique needs.

In addition to OCD and generalized anxiety, we help with related challenges such as test/performance anxiety, social anxiety and social skill impairments, maladaptive perfectionism, executive functioning difficulties, and other forms of neurodiversity. Going to college is the hugest leap you may ever take! It is the end of childhood and the beginning of adulthood, all starting with leaving everyone and everywhere you've known for 18 years and finding yourself in a new, strange place, away from your friends, your family, your pets, your school and your stuff that all gave you comfort. You have to learn how to DO college, make new friends, study for college exams, write excellent papers, focus on preparation for a lifelong career, negotiate sexual situations, plentiful drugs and booze. It is exciting and amazing and anxiety producing and overwhelming at times. Problems DO manage to follow you to college, like focus or learning issues, family dysfunction, reactions to STRESS! Therapy is helpful in being able to talk through all of these experiences and feelings, strategizing to get a better sense of control. We specialize in reducing anxiety, depression, panic disorders, social anxiety and shyness, study inhibition, relationship issues, eating disorders and STRESS! All sexual orientations and ethnicities welcomed.

My counseling style is eclectic because I utilize many different therapeutic strategies based off of the needs of the individuals I am working with during the session. Some of my counseling theory styles consists of: cognitive, behavioral, person-centered, positive psychology, reality, solution-focused, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and psycho-education components. In other words, I have many ways for helping individuals to deal with their struggles or with whatever is challenging them. My approach focuses on thought processes, behaviors, and action plans. I also find ways to creatively use your interests (such as: music, hobbies, movies, and etc.) in the solution process. Most importantly, during every counseling session I strive for my clients to take away something new or something that can utilize outside of counseling in everyday life.

People come to treatment for a variety of reasons. I view each person as unique and strive to assist individuals to overcome challenges and meet the goals that are important in their lives. As we work to let go of stress, pain, behaviors, thoughts and feelings that are not useful in the present, new healthier patterns can emerge and be adopted.
Providing a safe and validating space for others is a value of mine. This has lead me to pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology and thus far 8 years of experience. Throughout my training and career, I've always gravitated towards the college/graduate school population. I've especially appreciated working with students on relationships, identity, and self-love. Being a South-Asian, I've also enjoyed exploring cultural/ethnic/racial identity with clients. In a therapy session my approach is inviting, warm, curious, and a grounding presence. I strongly believe clients are experts on themselves; hence my approach to therapy is empowering and encouraging clients to lean into experiences to meet their goals. I like to use the metaphor that my clients are in the driver's seat and I'm there to support them as they explore where they want to go. Along with a multicultural lens, some therapeutic orientations I often pull from are CBT, ACT, and IFS. Gift-giving is important in many cultures and hence the gift I want to give clients is hope, validation, and safety. I also strive to plant the seeds of empowerment and self-love in clients and continue to nurture that together throughout our sessions. I encourage clients to try out various exercises/skills in between sessions to continue to meet their goals. Overall I hope a client leaves our sessions feeling supported, heard, and respected.
Welcome! Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and truly understood. Every person who walks into therapy is different, and I honor that. I work with teens, adults, and older adults navigating life’s challenges—whether it’s managing anxiety, coping with change, building confidence, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again. Some of my clients are high performers or athletes; others are just trying to manage daily stress, relationships, or emotional overwhelm. No matter your story, I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs—drawing from approaches like CBT and strengths-based strategies. I’m passionate about this work because I’ve seen how mental health impacts every part of life—from performance and relationships to life transitions and confidence. As a former West Chester University Division II athlete, I understand firsthand the mental load that comes with high performance, pressure, and pushing through—even when you’re not okay. That lived experience helps me support clients who are navigating high expectations, both in sport and in life. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where I get to know you and your goals. I believe therapy works best when it’s a team effort. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and what needs to shift. My style is a blend of warmth, honesty, and gentle challenge. I’ll always meet you where you are, but I’m not afraid to help you look at patterns that may be holding you back. Whether you need space to process, a sounding board for decision-making, or someone to help connect the dots—I’m here to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest feedback to help you make meaningful progress. If you’re ready to prioritize your well-being—whether as an individual or an athlete—I’d be honored to support you on that journey!
