I am licensed in WA and OR. Welcome! It can be challenging to start your therapy journey, so I am glad that you are here. I am committed to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth. My goal is to provide treatment that is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we will work through challenges, celebrate successes, and help you thrive. I worked in a university counseling center for a few years and found my passion for working with students. I draw on evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed modalities to create a safe and empowering space. I also use person-centered approaches to provide wholistic treatment that is tailored to the client. You aren't alone in this and I look forward to begin helping you reach your goals. If you think that we might be a good fit (or you want more information) and you want to schedule a brief and free phone consultation please contact me. I would love to hear from you.
I find the greatest success working with clients who over-think and ruminate, feeding negative valuations of themselves and the world around them, and who struggle with accompanying forms of worry, anxiety, and perfectionism. In providing a safe, non-judgmental space in which to build rapport, and by utilizing a conversational style, clients often feel more comfortable opening up and addressing the issues bringing them to counseling. We will collaborate on goals, as well as work together to make adjustments to expectations, making them more realistic, discover the meaning of “good enough,” learn the importance of self-care and healthy boundaries, increase self-worth, and begin to formulate ways to live an authentic life, making choices that are in alignment with your values. I look forward to hearing about your experiences, how they have been affecting your ability to reach your goals, and begin to work together to increase healthy tools to better manage inevitable life stressors when they arise. You can get back on track toward living a life that provides meaning and purpose. Please call to schedule a free consultation. ______________ Please note that I can also accept Samaritan insurance plans, but it was not listed as an option within the Thriving Campus system.
I work in treating Anxiety, Depression and Trauma. Are you currently struggling and seeking to better understand yourself and/or work through experiences of feeling stuck? Do your thoughts, emotions, behaviors/ habits feel disappointing, overwhelming, or seem to drift from your goals? We can collaborate to understand what's most valuable to you, the ways in which you struggle, and learn what could be most effective for you in your journey forward. We may just discover the most useful tools for you on your healing path as you metabolize old pain and grow in your own unique and deeply satisfying ways. My intention is to help provide a compassionate and curious environment to allow clients to explore their experiences and further understand both their difficult challenges (such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, difficulty connecting, being present etc.), as well as the beautiful core intentions and aspirations within them. I really enjoy this work. Offering in-person sessions in Corvallis and some teletherapy options as well. Healing and growth...not easy, though very possible. :-) I welcome diversity regarding race, gender identity, ability, religion, sexuality and neurodiversity. If you're seeking a greater sense of peace, value-aligned living, and inner strength, feel free to send me an email or call me. I'll get back to you. The insurances I am able to work with are: Pacific Source, and MODA. Here is a link to my website: https://www.presentquestcounseling.com/ Chad Blanchard LMFT 530-588-8731

On paper, everything looks good. Underneath though, you're feeling unsettled and struggling. The people I work with typically look like they are doing well in school and in life, but are struggling to manage their feelings and feel settled in their bodies and mind. I help those struggling with anxiety and depression who are not sure why they feel the way they do. I help people find beneficial coping skills instead of relying on possibly harmful ones. Being a student and navigating the landscape, both locally and globally can feel very overwhelming. I help people break things down into manageable pieces in order to restore a sense of agency and confidence. If you have any questions or need some support, feel free to message me. I return inquiries within 24 hours during the week and on Monday if sent over the weekend.
