David Seltzer
I find the greatest success working with clients who over-think and ruminate, feeding negative valuations of themselves and the world around them, and who struggle with accompanying forms of worry, anxiety, and perfectionism. In providing a safe, non-judgmental space in which to build rapport, and by utilizing a conversational style, clients often feel more comfortable opening up and addressing the issues bringing them to counseling.
We will collaborate on goals, as well as work together to make adjustments to expectations, making them more realistic, discover the meaning of “good enough,” learn the importance of self-care and healthy boundaries, increase self-worth, and begin to formulate ways to live an authentic life, making choices that are in alignment with your values.
I look forward to hearing about your experiences, how they have been affecting your ability to reach your goals, and begin to work together to increase healthy tools to better manage inevitable life stressors when they arise. You can get back on track toward living a life that provides meaning and purpose. Please call to schedule a free consultation.
