I am particularly interested in working with diverse populations, including 1.5 and 2nd generation Asian Americans, BIPOC, and expats. As a native New Yorker and second generation Taiwanese-American, I’m especially attuned to issues of belonging and marginalization, and the complexities that arise from navigating intersecting identities and conflicting expectations, wants, and needs. In addition to being trained and licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC), I have completed post-graduate work in psychodynamic therapy at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing®, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). Prior to practicing therapy, I worked in advertising and marketing. Well Behvaioral Health offers a variety of services tailored to meet unique needs and build into your daily life with flexibility. Stand alone or combined outpatient services include therapy, coaching, nutrition counseling, and various groups. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) options include Eating Disorder treatment, Trauma, and a DBT adherent program.
