College is a lot. The pressure to perform — academically, socially, personally — while quietly managing anxiety, burnout, or something you haven't even put a name to yet is genuinely exhausting. You don't have to keep pushing through it on your own. At Resilience Therapy, we work with young adults who are done just getting by and ready to actually feel better. We specialize in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, perfectionism, and body image — and we bring a no-judgment, no-sugarcoating approach to all of it. We provide telehealth and in-person services in NY, and telehealth in NJ, CT, FL, PA, MA, ME, CO, TX, IL, VA, SC, VT, AK, and DE. While some of our providers accept insurance, we are largely out-of-network and provide superbills for reimbursement. We also offer a sliding scale. Reach out — we'll help you figure out the details. *INSURANCE* While we are largely an Out Of Network Practice, we do have some clinicians that accept limited insurance. We offer a superbill to be submitted to insurance for reimbursement and will assist in verifying benefits. We additionally offer a sliding scale rate. Please reach out to learn more.

With more than five years of experience helping teens and young adults struggling with anxiety and depression, I am passionate about the human condition and believe that all emotions serve a purpose. Our role as clinical therapists is to hold those emotions – hope, anger, sadness – for or alongside those we're working with in order to guide them into a life of health and happiness. As a licensed mental health counselor, I take an authentic, humanistic, and client-centered approach for patients across diverse cultural backgrounds. I’m here to help you navigate various life challenges, including anxiety, self-esteem issues, regulating emotions, relationship struggles, family dynamics, life transitions, and identity formation. Life can be challenging; you don't have to do it alone. In our work together, you can expect a warm environment that leans on psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help you identify and change unhealthy behaviors. My style is eclectic because I tailor my approach to each person's unique situation. Don't be shocked if we sometimes play music and do some art in session! No matter the approach, you can trust that I will always show compassion and client autonomy, which means meeting you where you’re at and understanding that every person's therapeutic journey is different. I look forward to hearing your own story in our work together. My path to becoming a therapist began in the classroom, where I noticed that students often needed more individual support than I could have provided, especially those with diverse cultural backgrounds. This inspired me to go back to school for my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, deepening my commitment to providing culturally informed and holistic care for individuals and their families. In my practice now, I take pride in always bringing an authentic, attuned, and warm approach to each session.

As a licensed mental health counselor, I specialize in navigating anxiety, depression, life transition, and identity issues for individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. I believe in always being curious and authentic in my sessions, acting as your co-navigator as we work toward your goals in achieving greater mental wellness. In every meeting together, you can expect a comforting and nonjudgmental environment. My approach is empathetic, patient, and transparent, allowing us to build a trusting therapeutic relationship that motivates you to be your most authentic self and ensure you feel seen and heard. Each relationship and meeting is customized to every person’s unique struggles, experiences, and aspirations, utilizing a mix of Psychodynamic Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). My path to becoming a mental health counselor began when I experienced the sudden loss of a loved one. This taught me just how wide the range of emotions can be, how uncomfortable they all can feel, and the importance of addressing those emotions and working through them. In facing my own grief and loss, my commitment to helping others do the same deepened, better allowing me to bring both humility and compassion to each session.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) specializing in helping adolescents and adults navigate symptom management and transitional periods associated with depression, anxiety, and life changes. In my care, you are assured of a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space to process present and past stressors, overcome obstacles, and meet goals. My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and genuine, as I am passionate about providing the tools and guidance needed for healing and an improved quality of life. Working together, you heal in a safe, collaborative, and restorative environment that is tailored to your goals and background. I believe in individuality and inclusion, a practice that allows me to incorporate your culture and beliefs into your therapy, while my personal experiences with mental health and cultural background ensure a unique perspective and deep empathy for your needs. Throughout treatment, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered strategies to help you build tools to manage presenting issues. I look forward to fostering a trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship with you. My path to becoming a therapist was born from my drive to help friends sort through and vent their day-to-day issues. What began as a natural act of compassion quickly made me the “therapist” friend and mediator for advice due to a genuine lack of judgment and neutrality. This experience deepened my commitment to providing nonjudgmental care, where I bring openness and empathy to each session. As a therapist, just as I was a kind ear to friends, I am inspired by the resilience of my patients and their commitment to growth. In my free time, I enjoy reading, checking out the latest shows, and spending quality time with my friends and family. You’ll also see me on the courts practicing my tennis game!

This experience deepened my commitment to providing patient-centered care through a thoughtful, yet strengths-focused lens that honors each person’s experiences. I enjoy all sorts of hobbies when I’m not in the office. You’ll find me staying active by going on walks/runs, being outdoors, and hitting the gym, as well as cherishing calmer moments by watching movies, listening to all sorts of music, reading, and spending time with my dog.

As a licensed mental health counselor with 10 years of experience, I help adults navigate symptoms and daily stressors brought on by familial and relationship issues, work/school stress, identity and acceptance, and phase-of-life issues. My dedication to culturally competent care helps you work through barriers to achieving your goals in an empowering manner. I believe in the power of presence in one's life. If you are motivated to undercover patterns that are detrimental to you, the origins of these patterns, and how to work through breaking cycles that are not contributing to a healthy quality of life, please reach out today. I’m here to help in every way I can and look forward to supporting you through your goals. It’s important to me that you feel cared for in our sessions, while also being challenged in ways that will help you to succeed. That’s why I take a warm, collaborative, and respectful approach to care, creating a welcoming and friendly environment where you can be fully transparent and feel understood, free from judgement. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered, motivational interviewing, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy methods to help you gain insight in your daily life and learn to implement tools that will provide relief from stressors. My desire to become a therapist stemmed from seeing a need in my community and finding a deep misunderstanding of mental health, along with a resistance to services that could provide solace. As a woman of color, I grew up around certain stigmas toward mental health and wanted to contribute to helping those from all backgrounds feel understood. Later, in college, I had a positive experience with counseling that really solidified my mission of bringing care to others. Altogether, these experiences showed the value of providing a space where every patient feels seen and empowered, where they have autonomy and are encouraged to be the best version of themselves – a space I am dedicated to providing in every session in my practice now. In my free time, I enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, trying new recipes, and working out.
