I specialize in integrating a combination of training in mind-body counseling, personal life experience, health coaching, mindfulness, and non-religious spirituality/transpersonal. I am a psychiatrist with experience helping college and graduate students navigate the ups and downs of campus life. In my previous work at Yale Mental Health and Counseling, I supported students dealing with academic stress, identity exploration, mood and anxiety concerns, and the pressure to achieve. In my practice now, I bring together medication management, therapy, and integrative wellness approaches such as mindfulness and somatic practices. My goal is to offer a supportive and collaborative space where you can feel understood, build resilience, and discover ways to feel more balanced and empowered both personally and academically.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (in the states of Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio) who has been practicing for over 10 years. I have years of experience working with college students as I am a former College Counseling Center Director and worked in counseling centers as well as have seen college students in my private practice. I have years of experience providing both clinically and culturally competent therapy (meaning I collaborate with students to address topics they want to in therapy using tools/strategies that have been proven helpful and I take into consideration a student's various social identities and how that may impact how they experience the world). I find that I work well with students who are working through life transitions, adjustments, relationship stressors, experiencing anxiety(including those who experience social anxiety) depression, a desire to increase their self-esteem, racial trauma, or are in need increasing their overall coping skills.
