My practice specialization is focused on women’s issues and perinatal mental health. In response to the recent changes in access to women's reproductive healthcare, many of us are feeling confused, scared, (and p*ssed off!). I provide a safe space for women to process whatever emotions they may be feeling as a result of their direct experiences or related to future concerns. I believe that the relationship between clinician & client is the foundation for a successful therapy experience. Please know that I realize how difficult it is to connect with a “stranger” when you are feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable. Therapy can be challenging, but it can also be very enlightening. It can also be light-hearted & fun. (I guarantee a few laughs during each session!) I utilize a variety of therapy techniques, which ultimately allows for flexibility in making sure that you get what you need in a way that works for you.

Helping you feel comfortable and seen is my priority. I believe that true growth cannot happen outside of a warm, safe relationship. There is so much happening for college students and having a judgement-free space to slow down, unpack thoughts/feelings and gain clarity/awareness can lead to immense empowerment and growth for young adults. I work at my client's pace and help them feel seen/validated in their experience while collaboratively addressing the difficulties together. Celebrating any feeling of success, no matter how small, is crucial! Therapy is not all about the hard things, but also about noticing the good when we can so easily be weighed down by the struggles. Thanks for considering me and I look forward to connecting with you!

Therapy provides a safe environment to work on the issues and situations that might be hindering your ability to function as you want to. Every client is different, and my goal is to help you feel more able to identify your specific challenges and develop the skills and strategies to manage them. I rely on a strengths perspective and draw predominately from CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic modalities. I help clients with anxiety, depression, problems related to sexual and gender identity, relationship conflicts, illness, grief, and stage of life issues. I am strongly aligned with the LGBTQIA+ community and enjoy working with individuals and couples from all walks of life.

As a therapist, I take a collaborative approach with patients to relieve distress, improve well-being, and develop new insights. Together, we will identify patterns in living that you want to change, and discover how prior experiences have shaped your emotional life, relationships, and behavior, perhaps in ways that are outside of your awareness. I treat patients who experience anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, challenges related to work and career, and stress that is related to life transitions. My approach to therapy is interactive and open-ended, with a focus on helping you to learn about yourself and to find new, more fulfilling ways of living. With all of my patients, I work to build a relationship that holds the potential for you to discover new possibilities for yourself. I seek to have a practice that is diverse with regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and ability/disability status. The process of therapy includes exploration of all aspects of identity, including how both marginalization and privilege shape experience. This exploration includes processing how identity is experienced in the therapeutic dyad, and understanding how similarities and differences between the patient and therapist shape the therapeutic process. I welcome hearing from you to discuss the possibility of setting up an initial consultation. Together, we can determine if I can meet your needs as a therapist.

Sometimes we find ourselves feeling stuck, unhappy, or confused. We may be aware of a sense of unease, as if something is not quite right. Therapy can provide clarity and tools to help you navigate difficult emotions. It’s important to know that we can learn to think and feel differently. I provide a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and truly validated. I believe in the gentle balance of being both compassionate and direct to help facilitate growth and healing. Through encouragement, compassion and insight, my goal is to help you develop a deeper sense of joy and greater agency over your life. My background includes helping individuals who find themselves in challenging situations arising from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and addiction. Hello! Thank you for your interest in starting therapy. I have a lot of experience supporting college and advanced degree students who are dealing with anxiety, OCD, and stress. I take a CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), goals-focused approach. I am licensed in Massachusetts and New York and I can see students in either state--in fact, I work with a number of students who go to school in MA but live in NY when they are not on campus and vice versa. I'd be happy to set up a time to talk so you can ask any questions that you have to see if it would be a good fit for you.

It could be feeling more supported, confident, calm, and/or optimistic. It could be feeling like you have a greater sense of stability, and purpose. As a trauma survivor, I know how brave it is to start therapy. You matter. You are important. You deserve a peaceful and fulfilling life where you feel more empowered and in control. You do not have to face this journey alone. We will do it together, at your own pace, with practical strategies, real progress, and true healing.

I specialize in therapy for young and emerging adult women with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and OCD to help them find balance and gain new perspectives on how they see the world and themselves. I challenge Perfectionists, Overthinkers, and People Pleasers to step out of their black-and-white thinking. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that have protected you in the past, dive deeper into your experiences, and notice the stories that your mind is telling you. We’ll work with both your mind and body, helping you tune into how your thoughts, emotions, and physical responses are connected. As an integrative therapist, I blend evidence-based practices with a human, relational approach—drawing from different modalities to meet you where you are and what you need most. My goal is to provide a balanced, trauma-informed, and holistic approach that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and emotions. If you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, build healthier boundaries, strengthen your self-trust, and create more space for flexibility and self-compassion, feel free to reach out or schedule a free consultation through my website—I’d be honored to support you!
