I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about working with and supporting young adults! I work with individuals located in MA and CT, via Telehealth. Areas of focus include anxiety, school stress, self-esteem, executive functioning challenges, identity/career exploration, life transitions and more. My work is LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirming. I use a client-led approach, which allows individuals to bring to the table their own wants and needs for their sessions. I also provide individualized support, whether a client is looking to build skills to improve day-to-day wellness, or simply have a non-judgmental listener. I strive to create a warm environment where clients feel seen and heard, and feel safe to be themselves. I value authenticity, compassion, and humor in providing support through difficult times and successes. We will collaborate to recognize your strengths and build new skills in working towards your goals. I am excited to get to know you and support you!
As a therapist, I take a collaborative approach with patients to relieve distress, improve well-being, and develop new insights. Together, we will identify patterns in living that you want to change, and discover how prior experiences have shaped your emotional life, relationships, and behavior, perhaps in ways that are outside of your awareness. I treat patients who experience anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, challenges related to work and career, and stress that is related to life transitions. My approach to therapy is interactive and open-ended, with a focus on helping you to learn about yourself and to find new, more fulfilling ways of living. With all of my patients, I work to build a relationship that holds the potential for you to discover new possibilities for yourself. I seek to have a practice that is diverse with regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and ability/disability status. The process of therapy includes exploration of all aspects of identity, including how both marginalization and privilege shape experience. This exploration includes processing how identity is experienced in the therapeutic dyad, and understanding how similarities and differences between the patient and therapist shape the therapeutic process. I welcome hearing from you to discuss the possibility of setting up an initial consultation. Together, we can determine if I can meet your needs as a therapist.
Do you have a place where you can be truly heard? Therapy can be that safe, accepting place and that's what I strive to create with you: somewhere for you to bring whatever it is that you're struggling with or the stuff that feels too heavy to bear alone. Maybe your challenges are preventing you from enjoying satisfaction and contentment. Perhaps you are in a period of transition and therapy could be a space to think through decisions so you can feel more confident about your choices. Or maybe you're struggling in a relationship to overcome old patterns that have limited you until now. The good news is that you don't have to face any of this alone. I have accompanied people through these and many other issues, and in therapy we'll identify what is holding you back and help you pick up new tools to tackle these challenges. I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, and specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Contact me today to find out whether we're a good fit to work together!

Our experiences in this world, often based on identities or trauma, can leave us feeling stressed and uncertain. It's confusing to have your worries get in the way of making the connections with people that you long for; or to be so convinced you will fail that it's hard to take the first step in doing the next thing you want to do; or to be suddenly totally overwhelmed in the middle of this exciting new experience you'd been waiting for. Sometimes people need some help slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and finding new ways to respond so that they can move forward with hope, self-compassion, and empowerment. I have spent many years working in college mental health, helping students from all identities and backgrounds navigate the growth and challenge of the college experience. My approach is collaborative. Together we figure out what's getting in the way for you. I'll be with you in the hard moments, naming and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences so that you can find ways to respond to them that are helpful. Increased connection with your body is key. Let's also celebrate the wins, big and small, along the way. Finding a therapist that is a good fit is so important—if you're not comfortable enough to tell your therapist what's really going on, therapy won't work. Let's find a time to connect to see if I would be a good fit for you in your next step.
What if getting better didn't mean spending years talking about everything that's ever gone wrong? I work with college and grad students to build real, lasting change by providing insight and skills that actually help. With over a decade of clinical work in the US and abroad, I've helped young adults manage anxiety, quiet the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that follow them into every exam and internship, while creating a healthy type of confidence that remains under pressure. My clients describe working with me as supportive, direct, collaborative, and nothing like what they expected therapy to be. We figure out what's driving the pattern. Then we work on changing it. I specialize in: anxiety, burnout and stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. My approach pulls from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, grounded in a trauma-informed model. You don't have to have it figured out to start. Currently offering Online Therapy throughout Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, and Florida. Whether you are in Boston, NYC, or Denver, I am ready when you are.

Hi there! My name is Lucy and I am a psychotherapist with a MSW from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have experience providing therapy to emerging adult and adult clients in a community clinic at a university and a private practice. Before my master's, I worked with adolescents in a public high school. I have worked with clients with various presenting problems including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and more. Additionally, I have walked alongside and empowered clients as they navigate life transitions (such as the transition into college and out of college into the workplace), neurodiversity, relationship struggles, trauma, body image distress, self-worth issues, and more. I believe the client-therapist relationship is essential to the therapeutic process and work to cultivate a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental space for self-exploration. I meet my clients where they are and collaborate with them to set goals and treatment plans. To do so, I combine different modalities like CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy (SFBT), and more. I know therapy can be daunting, but it also presents opportunities to explore your feelings, challenge yourself, work through difficult situations, and even celebrate your growth! My goal is for all my clients to feel secure and seen, no matter if they have been to therapy before or this is their first time. I am excited to work with and get to know you!
NOTE: I currently only have morning/midday availability at this time. (Mon-Thurs only) - - - - - I am deeply passionate about mental health, trauma work, and advocacy. With over a decade of experience in social work, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals across all age groups—from children as young as 3 to individuals preparing for and in their retirement years. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, tailoring goals and methods to align with your unique needs and lead to the best possible outcomes for you. I began my journey in this field as a victim advocate, where I guided trauma and crime survivors through complex systems while also helping them begin to process the life-altering events they had experienced. My approach is rooted in building a strong, trusting rapport, but I also believe in being straightforward. I enjoy challenging my clients to confront and dismantle negative self-beliefs and cognitive distortions, empowering them to discover their inner resilience and potential. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to work with you. Please visit my website to learn more and book a session.
As a therapist and yoga teacher, I strive to provide a welcoming space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and supported in achieving their treatment goals. It has been a privilege to have served so many on their journey towards well-being, and I am hopeful that I may be able to assist you as well.

Much of my work focuses on supporting clients as they navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions. While I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, I have particular experience supporting Young Adults and Asian American clients, especially those balancing multicultural identities, family expectations, and cultural values. My therapeutic approach has been informed by work in emergency units, inpatient settings, and college campuses. I focus on meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we identify goals that matter to you and explore patterns or concerns you’d like to understand more deeply or approach differently. I value open communication and believe growth often happens when we gently step into discomfort. I integrate evidence-based approaches while staying mindful of how your unique experiences have shaped your perspective and sense of self.
