Much of my work focuses on supporting clients as they navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions. While I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, I have particular experience supporting Young Adults and Asian American clients, especially those balancing multicultural identities, family expectations, and cultural values. My therapeutic approach has been informed by work in emergency units, inpatient settings, and college campuses. I focus on meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we identify goals that matter to you and explore patterns or concerns you’d like to understand more deeply or approach differently. I value open communication and believe growth often happens when we gently step into discomfort. I integrate evidence-based approaches while staying mindful of how your unique experiences have shaped your perspective and sense of self. Sessions are intentional and structured, with an emphasis on insight, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or unsure of who you are or where you’re going, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy can be a space where you feel grounded and comfortable showing up as you are, without pressure or judgment, while we make sense of what’s been weighing on you. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, relationship challenges, family conflict, or major life transitions, my goal is to make you feel supported and respected while you gain insight and confidence in who you are and how to manage whatever comes your way. I work with adolescents, teens, and young adults navigating the pressures of school, relationships, identity development, and expectations from others (and themselves). I also specialize in supporting athletes with confidence, focus, motivation, and returning to sport after injury while staying focused on who you are beyond performance. My approach is collaborative and person-centered. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you identify your strengths and values, develop practical tools, and build momentum toward meaningful change. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused strategies in ways that are flexible and tailored to your needs and values.
I have over 25 years of experience working collaboratively with people navigating life transitions. My expertise includes managing anxiety, depression, job loss, parenting challenges, and adjusting to life changes. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Psychodynamic Approaches to understand and help navigate your challenges.
I am accepting new patients at this time. I offer medication management in combination with brief cognitive behavioral therapy via telemedicine. As a dual board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, I care for the community by balancing the rational, emotional and spiritual health of each individual. By using a holistic approach I provide my patients with the tools to overcome psychiatric symptoms and stressors. I am described as genuine, compassionate, and empathetic. My patient’s happiness, safety and entire wellbeing are of the upmost importance to me. I work with adolescents, adults and the geriatric population afflicted with different mental health conditions to develop personalized treatment plans to achieve patient specific optimal goals. I conduct psychiatric evaluations focusing on an individualized treatment plan. I specialize in ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression and Insomnia. I educate patients on nutrition and exercise to improve their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. I look forward to working with you!

My approach is client-centered and grounded in active listening, nonjudgment, cultural responsiveness, and genuine allyship. As a Brazilian, bilingual therapist fluent in English and Portuguese, I understand the importance of honoring each person's unique background, identity, and lived experience. Drawing from my work in crisis intervention, outpatient mental health, schools, and community-based settings, I tailor treatment to meet each client's individual needs and goals. During our first sessions, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying meaningful goals f Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or thoughts of hopelessness. I work with teens (16+) through adults, including individuals from migrant and multicultural communities, to help them navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling life. Together, we will identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you overcome obstacles and create meaningful change. I believe healing and growth are possible when people feel supported and empowered. My hope is that our work together will help you gain insight, confidence, and coping skills while creating a life that feel fulfilled.
Hello! I have been fortunate to have worked with a diverse array of client populations throughout my career, but currently specialize in and am passionate about working with college students, young adults, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC women. My clinical areas of specialty and expertise include anxiety, depression, ADHD, family dynamics, social/relationship challenges, and academic and life transitions.
The journey towards self-discovery is a valuable and worthwhile endeavor, deserving of the effort required to connect with one's authentic self. I believe in the inherent capacity for individuals to thrive and undergo meaningful personal growth. Throughout our work together we will create an environment where vulnerability is embraced, challenging conversations occur, and discomfort is acknowledged as a catalyst for growth and change, as we explore and unravel learned patterns that may no longer serve you. My therapeutic approach is characterized by flexibility, adapting to your unique needs and preferences. I highly value your feedback, ensuring that our collaboration is a dynamic and responsive process. Grounded in an intersectional understanding of trauma, neurodiversity, and systemic oppression, I aim not only to delve into your internal world but also to consider the impact of external factors on your well-being. Therapy with me involves taking the time to connect with your joys, struggles, history, and hopes, facilitating a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of yourself. Focusing on complex trauma and neurodiversity, I have a profound appreciation for the richness and complexity of people's stories. I am committed to supporting your growth and change while acknowledging and welcoming all facets of your identity. Furthermore, I am dedicated to my own ongoing learning on social justice topics and anti-racism, recognizing the importance of understanding my own identities (both privileged and marginalized) to create an inclusive and empathic therapeutic environment. I believe that my work as a therapist is not just about individual growth but empowering my clients to recognize and dismantle the damaging and broken systems in their lives. As the therapeutic relationship is central to our work and not every therapist is going to be the best fit for you, I encourage you to take advantage of my 15 minute free consultation. This way we can discuss what you are looking for from therapy and I can answer any questions you might have about starting therapy with me. I look forward to hearing from you!

I’m a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. I earned my undergraduate degree from Quinnipiac University and went on to complete my Master of Social Work at Boston University School of Social Work in 2015. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use. I came into this field because I genuinely value the process of helping people better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I don’t take for granted the trust it takes to share your story with someone new. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard—without judgment. My approach to therapy is pragmatic, individualized, and grounded in your unique strengths. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I work collaboratively with each client to understand what’s most important to them and to develop tools and strategies that feel realistic and useful in everyday life. Whether we’re working through patterns of anxiety, processing past trauma, or addressing substance use, I aim to balance insight with practical steps forward.
Life can be exhausting, whether it's dealing with stress, anxiety, insomnia, or all of the above. I help clients manage these things so they can focus more on what’s important to them. I also work with clients on managing symptoms of ADHD, communication strategies, and balancing school-work-life.
"When I discover who I am, I'll be free."-Ralph Ellison. I believe that many of the challenges that inhibit us from achieving our goals are related to the difficulty in knowing ourselves and how we can maximize our strengths in order to meet the challenges we face. I believe that no matter what your presenting issue, awareness of our own goals, values, and strengths are critical. It is my goal to help clients cultivate self-awareness in order to achieve their therapeutic goals. I am a clinical social worker who specializes in working with college-age students and young adults. Using a collaborative approach, I work with clients to develop a shared understanding of the goals and preferred outcomes for therapy. I draw on many theories including cognitive-behavioral therapy, liberation health, feminist, and multicultural theories. In working with clients I strive to address the personal, institutional, and cultural factors that might be affecting a client's presentation. If you have any questions for me, or think we may be a good fit, please reach out today. I prefer initial contact to be through email, however if you do call, please be sure to leave a detailed voicemail.
Although the road to wellness is not linear, there is hope, and change is possible. Depression and anxiety, worry, stress, and feeling overwhelmed- these are all familiar concerns and normal in the human experience. We've all experienced it. Sometimes they can be difficult to manage and that's when talk therapy can be incredibly useful. But most important: I'm glad you're here. Let's build a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Life is hard. Although I am not a specialist in Life itself, there are ways to balance and recalibrate ourselves with therapy tools. These tools have helped me and others I've served in the past. As an Asian American, LGBTQ+ identifying therapist, my experience may offer a unique perspective that helps you feel connected and heard. I offer a straightforward style with authenticity and real connection. Although this may be intimidating for clients who are new to therapy, it is a bridge that when crossed clients find satisfying and rewarding. The first step to reaching out and connecting is by call or email, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Adjusting to new cultures as an immigrant, starting a new career as the only queer person in your company, learning how to navigate spaces of affluence as a new university student from a working-class background, and other major life adjustments can be some of our most challenging life experiences, especially when our ability to cope and adjust is limited by difficult traumatic memories and the resulting constant feeling of being overwhelmed. Please know that you are not a burden, and I am here to support you. Please reach out for a free initial consultation. We can discuss your needs. Being a university student can be both an exciting and extremely overwhelming time in your life. Your college years are full of transitions which often come with a sense of uncertainty. Seeking support in therapy can be the first step to re-gaining a sense of control and a hope in the possibility of change. My clients often face challenges related to life transitions in employment, relationships, family life, and education. They also seek support in navigating the daily struggles of life, from the stress of media consumption to confronting the debilitating impacts of oppressive systems. I also work with clients facing existential dread, including death anxiety, as well as those dealing with illness, end-of-life issues, and bereavement, whether personally or supporting a loved one. My therapeutic style is open, empathic, and down to earth. Building a safe and trusting connection is a crucial piece of the therapy process. My approach is existential and highly relational, highlighting the importance of both the right "fit" in the therapeutic relationship and exploring how you fit into the world. Through my years of practice, I've seen how self-compassion, deep connection, and finding a sense of purpose contribute significantly to one's well-being. I will support you in your search for greater meaning, emotional awareness and empowerment in a world that can be overwhelming and isolating.
