Are you feeling exhausted, or finding yourself more stressed and in need of support? Perhaps you are simply looking to enhance your wellness or strengthen boundaries. Many people are finding that the stress of every day life can overwhelm their capacity to cope. Are you hoping to learn new ways to cope with stress, trauma, family conflict, anxiety, or depression which are trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and culturally sensitive? I work with young adults and my approach is eclectic, using strong social justice and trauma lenses. My most highly prioritized goal is to empower you to break free from ineffective patterns and heal, so that you can thrive and feel successful! Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but if you are reading this, that means that you have already taken that initial step (which can be the hardest part). Well done! If you are looking for warm, non-judgmental, and accepting support, I am just one free call away. Together, we can collaborate to transform your concerns into action and compassion!

If balancing academic/work pressure and your personal life is leaving you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or burned out, I am here to help. Many clients I work with enter therapy feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or pushing themselves at the expense of their well-being. Perfectionism and self-criticism often make it even harder to slow down or feel satisfied. I specialize in therapy with college/graduate students and young professionals struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, early career stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also work with survivors of sexual trauma and individuals who want to better understand how past experiences continue to shape their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. My approach is warm, collaborative, and values-focused. After working together, my clients often have greater self-confidence, increased insight into how past experiences shape current patterns, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I integrate psychodynamic therapy with evidence-based behavioral approaches such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, along with emotion-focused, self-compassion, and strengths-based perspectives. We'll explore practical tools to move forward from unhelpful patterns so that you can live more authentically. I am here to support you in understanding yourself with greater insight and compassion, easing anxiety’s influence on your wellbeing, and building a life that reflects your values rather than fear or pressure. I offer telehealth therapy for busy academic and professional lives. If this sounds like you, I invite you to explore my website and reach out for a consultation. I see clients in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and Colorado. I am also PSYPACT authorized to see clients in 40 additional states. *Note: I am in-network with several insurances in Massachusetts and Colorado, and I am out-of-network in New York, New Hampshire, and in PSYPACT states. I provide a superbill for my clients to request reimbursement from their insurance. Please reach out with any questions; I'm happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing ethical, evidence-based mental health care. My professional approach is rooted in a holistic, patient-centered model that respects your individual needs, experiences, and cultural background. I believe every patient is different, which is why I curate individualized care plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle adjustments, or a combination of these approaches. My goal is to promote healing, recovery, and overall well-being while building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University and bring extensive knowledge and expertise in diagnosing, treating, and evaluating a wide range of mental health conditions. By combining clinical knowledge, patient advocacy, and the adaptability of telemedicine, I ensure that my practice continually evolves with the most up-to-date psychiatric nursing standards. The process begins with an initial consultation where we review your history, current symptoms, and overall wellness. From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan together, adjusting as needed through ongoing communication. Shoreline Wellness Center places a focus on talk therapy (psychotherapy) to help patients better manage the stress they encounter in their daily life. Working with a therapist has many benefits, such as coping with feelings, facing and solving problems, or changing behavioral patterns that are leading to some of your symptoms. In therapy, we don’t just talk about problems. The main goal is to develop a reasonable and doable solution. Sometimes you may have “homework” to complete for your therapist. This may include something like tracking your moods throughout the day, journaling about your thoughts, going out of your way to be social, or joining in activities that caused you to feel anxious in the past. Your therapist may even suggest for you to try to look at things differently or to learn new skills to use in your everyday life. Therapy focuses on current and past thoughts, feelings, and issues. Both are important, as they may very well be connected in some way. Discussing your challenges and having an open dialogue is the key to finding the solution to help your present and prepare for your future.

I am passionate about working with college students 18 and older that are struggling with painful life experiences that affect their mental and physical health. I provide a safe, accepting environment, using evidence-based modalities for change, and support my clients in the process of healing and becoming the best versions of themselves. My clients are resilient- however, having to be "strong" and in survival mode all the time is exhausting, and it's okay to let your guard down with me. I aim to support my clients in not only surviving, but thriving. My clients achieve a healthier relationship with themselves, others, and the world around them.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist, and I feel privileged to help those struggling with mental health issues. I understand that there is still a stigma surrounding mental health, and I strive to ensure my patients feel understood during our appointments. Building rapport and getting to know my patients beyond just their diagnoses is central to my approach to care. I have experience treating patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, emergency departments, and medical hospitals. I believe that the best outcomes usually occur when medications and therapy are used together. While I enjoy treating all psychiatric illnesses, I have a particular affinity for personality disorders and substance use disorders. I also have experience addressing mental health issues during and after pregnancy. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Biology at Laurentian University, followed by medical training at Ross University School of Medicine. I then completed my psychiatry residency, serving as chief resident, at the University of North Dakota in Fargo.

On the surface you're all calm and put together, but underneath you're questioning how your life is panning out. Sure, you've got great ambition and have come really far. Things may even be pretty good right now. But the memories of your difficult past and anxieties about the future never quite go away. Feeling not good enough, doubting your abilities, and feeling stuck have become an everyday experience that you'd rather do without. I use an attachment, nervous system, and trauma informed lens to help you understand how experiences have shaped you so far and find more space for kindness and courage within for growth and evolution. Imagine going about your day feeling compassionate towards yourself, confident in handling whatever life throws at you, and courageous in taking new actions towards your goals. I fully believe that living with more ease, self esteem, and satisfaction is available to you and will be the natural result of you paying more attention to your inner experiences. Certified in both IFS and EMDR, I help clients that experience anxiety, depression, trauma including PTSD and C-PTSD, and relationship issues find new ways of relating to themselves and others. I conveniently see clients online via teletherapy. Head over to my website (www.WellofWisdomTherapy.com) to schedule your free 15 minute phone consultation today.
