College is such an important time. You’re learning and growing in classes, and you’re also figuring out who you want to be in the world. Being away from home, navigating friendships and relationships, and making decisions about your future can be exciting, but they can also feel lonely, confusing, or overwhelming. If you’re feeling unsure of yourself or of your path, you’re not alone. I love working with college students and offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk things through, make sense of what you’re feeling, and learn to advocate for what you need. We’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and at home in your life. I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you as you build the life you want.

You might feel stuck—questioning your identity, struggling in relationships, or carrying anxiety and self-doubt that won’t quiet down. Maybe you’re moving through a big life change or just tired of feeling like you have to hide parts of yourself to be accepted. My clients often want clarity, relief, and a more honest connection to themselves and others. As a non-binary therapist, I understand how deeply the therapist’s identity can shape the therapy space—and how important it is to feel seen. I also bring a feminist perspective to help make sense of how social and cultural systems impact your lived experience. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA, VT, and FL, I support adults facing anxiety, depression, identity conflict, and relationship struggles. My specialty is interpersonal psychotherapy, and I bring a holistic, adaptable approach to each session—offering clarity, insight, and a space where you can better understand yourself and your connections. I offer a safe, affirming space where you can show up fully and honestly. My approach supports you in developing practical, realistic coping tools while deepening your understanding of yourself. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more aligned with the person you want to be—grounded, capable, and true to yourself.

The most important part of therapy is building a good rapport with the individual to create a safe and comfortable space. Therapy isn't always easy and neither is the decision to find a therapist; working to ensure clients are comfortable with me and helping them to identify their goals so that the treatment trajectory is predictable, but allows for space to talk about day to day events, if needed. Lastly, ensuring client and therapist personalities align is important as it only enhances the sense of safety and the capacity for positive rapport growth. There is no one intervention that is best for one person. Therefore, I operate with an eclectic combination and knowledge of multiple interventions and techniques as a way to provide the best and most effective strength based and unique treatment. Treatment interventions are individualized in order to align with the identified treatment plan and goals. Individuals have experienced a multitude of events throughout their lives that connect to and impact their capacity to function as they wish within the world today. One persons experiences are never compared or judged; everyone is always doing the best they can in those moments and I want to work with them to help increase what their best looks or feels like.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker in Massachusetts, and Vermont with over 20 years of experience, helping adults and teens (16+) find greater balance, connection in their lives. My work focuses on supporting those managing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or self-esteem challenges. I approach therapy through a mind-body lens, integrating polyvagal informed therapy, EMDR, Internal family systems, mindfulness-based practices, CBT, and trauma informed care. These approaches honor the wisdom of your body and help you understand how your nervous system responds to stress together will work to build regulation, resilience, and a deeper sense of safety from within. Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and compassionate. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and gently shift patterns that no longer serve you. Healing is a gradual process, and it begins with learning to listen-really listen- to your body and inner experience. If this approach resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect and see how we can begin this work together.

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in private practice in Hanover, MA, and I work with adults navigating everything from everyday stress to deeper struggles like anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. I believe healing happens in relationship—in a space where you feel truly heard and accepted for who you are. My approach draws from relational, humanistic, and psychodynamic theories, and I integrate CBT, DBT skills, and psychoeducation as they fit your needs. While we may not always have control over all aspects of our lives, we have control over how we choose to react, how we make meaning of our situation, and most importantly how we grow from the challenges presented to us. I work with adults throughout the lifespan, from young adults to older adults, in an individual and group therapy setting. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity development, life transitions, and navigating relationships. I love working with clients who recognize the need for change in their lives and are motivated to work towards bettering their relationship with themselves and others. I utilize both psychodynamic (how the past influences the present) and interpersonal approaches (how relational patterns impact psychological well-being) to therapy. In addition, I also borrow from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)/Mindfulness to help build healthy coping strategies. I do not believe in a one size fits all therapy, but I do believe in two necessary factors: hope and a strong therapeutic relationship. Hope ignites the courage to take the first step towards change and the therapeutic relationship is the vessel in which the journey towards change takes place.

Life can be overwhelming. There are many things to address, or things we want to work on, but we often don’t know where to start. You don’t have to figure out it all out overnight. You don’t have to feel ashamed for being where you are. All you have to focus on is one small thing you can do today to get closer to where you want to be in life. Slowly, one step at a time, you can get there. That one step could be reaching out to a therapist to have non-judgmental support through this process. This is where I can help. I provide a therapeutic space to explore struggles in a relaxed manner. You take the lead, I am a supporting role. I offer different perspectives, brainstorming ideas, coping strategies, & practicing what you want to improve. Working for almost 10 yrs. has trained me in numerous styles of therapy, so I think outside the box & pull from various strategies to help you find the right tools for your situation. Online Only. I am able to work with issues related to: grief/loss, depression, anxiety, caregiver/parent support, relationships, trauma, and life changes. If you're interested in seeing if I'm a good fit for your needs, & would like to start your therapy journey, please reach out via email. I look forward to hearing your story & being a part of your journey.
