I've always been a strong believer that your mindset and behaviors can be a significant game changer in the way things are in life. CBT and Mindfulness perspectives are what I work from most, but I also incorporate other methods that will best help you work through, gain insight and clarity in what you're seeking to improve or change. As a therapist, it's important to feel safe and comfortable to share your story. My goal and hope is that you feel as comfortable as you would going over to a friends house, sitting on their couch and having a meaningful conversation. I truly honor the therapeutic space that my clients have and to hear their stories. When you feel ready, I am here to listen

Dave Kyrie has dedicated his career to the service of others. With 18 years in healthcare, he has worked in a variety of settings including trauma, intensive care, behavioral health, surgical recovery, and deployed medicine with the US Army. He has seen how the challenges and tragedies of life can affect people, and his dedication to help others to recover in a hospital changed to a passion to collaborate with patients to improve the quality of their life. This passion led him to pursue education as a PMHNP where he focused primarily on adult and adolescent mood disorders, traumatic response, and recovery from substance use disorders. Dave believes that all individuals have inherent value and are deserving of help and opportunities to improve their life. Dave works collaboratively with adults and adolescents, aged 12 years and up who experience symptoms such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, difficulty with sleep, substance use disorders, and other behavior disruptions.
At ThrivePointe, we promise remarkable connection and clear direction. Counseling that has connection and direction has proven to change lives, restore relationships, and help clients achieve their personal goals. Once you find a therapist, get ready to work! We don’t do “talk therapy”. We build relationships. And, we do what works (it’s called evidence-based practice) to help you thrive. Bring your whole self and a willingness to be an active participant in the process and we will too. Together, we’ll set goals and create a plan to help you become your fullest self. We look forward to working with you!
I see individuals working through transitional issues (university, relational, stage of life), common mental health issues (anxiety, depression, ADHD), and trauma (adverse childhood events, sexual/psychological/physical abuse, etc). Individuals I work with often are seeking therapy to feel more like themselves, relieve symptoms of mental health, and enjoy their day-to-day lives more. I find we are often a good fit when looking at therapy as an opportunity to connect, process, & grow. Stress, anxiety, and depression can consume us in unimaginable ways. Throw in the complexities of navigating important relationships, and whoa, can life seem overwhelming. As humans, we are all equipped with unique strengths to help us get through the various stressors life presents. I would like to help you learn to hone in on the innate strengths and values that make you who you are and how to apply them to your daily life. My goal in working with you is to ensure a compassionate and non-biased therapeutic setting where you feel safe and comfortable being yourself. Seeking out help is not always an easy thing to do. Im glad you are here. My approach is somewhat eclectic and bioindividual. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy methods in tandem with solution-focused, person-centered, and mindfulness types of modalities. I typically work with adults and young adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, depression, perfectionism, relationship issues, trauma, and general stress. Feel free to reach out anytime by phone or email. Please leave a voice message if you call and I do not answer, and I will be sure to respond as soon as I can.
Welcome. I’m K. Hilary Curtis-Long, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience in trauma informed and systems-oriented care. My work is grounded in the belief that distress is not a personal failing, but a meaningful response to lived experience—often shaped by relational wounds, cultural narratives, and environments that ask too much of the nervous system. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, listen carefully, and make sense of what your symptoms have been trying to communicate. My clinical background includes training in attachment theory, trauma therapy, Jungian and narrative approaches, feminist theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with a strong emphasis on somatic and mindfulness-based practices. I work with individuals navigating religious trauma, sexuality and identity, attachment wounds, shame, relational harm, and the lingering impacts of early experiences. Many clients come to therapy feeling exhausted by urgency, responsibility, or the pressure to remain functional in systems that feel misaligned with their values. In our work together, we attend to the interconnection between mind, body, and story—exploring how inherited beliefs, early relationships, and social systems have shaped your sense of self, worth, and belonging. Rather than rushing toward solutions, therapy becomes a place to metabolize grief, loosen shame, and reclaim creativity, agency, and meaning at a pace that feels sustainable. Symptoms are approached with curiosity and respect, allowing self- compassion to replace self-blame over time.
Bottling up or stuffing down emotions can be so overwhelming to teen girls and women, especially in today’s social climate. The people that you love the most are not always equipped to support you in ways that you need and deserve. Social stigma that most people have about therapy can deter you from seeking the help that you need and deserve. I am here to help you navigate the spaces that appear difficult. Therapy helps provide a safe, non judgemental and confidential space to talk about the challenges you would like to process. Whether you have anxiety, depression or low self-esteem, together we will come up with a plan to discover your strengths so you can live your best life. Help me help you, become a better version of yourself. Life is not easy, but it is easier when you have the right help and support.

While college presents many exciting opportunities, it can also be a challenging time in your life. Maybe you're feeling the weight of academic pressures, wrestling through new ideas and realizations about the world, or navigating social life in a new way - maybe a combination of all of the above! You don't have to navigate these experiences alone. I offer an environment that is both compassionate and empowering, to walk alongside you in your pursuit of growth and healing. I offer counseling in-office, through telehealth, and in outdoor-settings. If the traditional office setting isn't for you, we can meet while on a hiking trail or on a walking path. We'll work together to meet your needs, in helping you reach your goals through the use of evidence-based practices, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy, and a trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trusting relationship.
If you are someone who enjoys understanding yourself and others by processing past life experiences and connecting them to patterns in your present life, we may be the right fit for therapy. Whether, in person, or online, we can navigate your past and redefine your future by learning skills, reframing negative beliefs, and finding your core worth. I am located in Carmel, IN, and can provide services either in person or online (as long as you are located within the state of Indiana).
Successful therapy and life coaching begins with clients and therapists developing a collaborative, collegial, and trusting relationship. I help my clients to identify the roots of their challenges in life; the problematic thinking, emotional, and behavioral patterns that result; and to develop strategies to address and resolve those issues.
