I help students struggling with anxiety and ADHD gain confidence and develop skills that support their neurodiverse brains. People diagnosed with ADHD are more likely to experience challenges with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and sleep disorders; this combination can make functioning day-to-day feel like an uphill battle. In our work together, we'll explore self-compassion, your beliefs about yourself and the world, and actions to take to help you feel better. For clients who struggle with ADHD, we'll find ways to improve your executive function skills and how to advocate for your needs as a neurodiverse person. Finding a therapist can be a daunting task, I offer a complimentary 15-minute, no-strings-attached initial consultation so you can decide if I fit what you're looking for. If I'm not a match, I'll provide referrals to other providers who might be what you're looking for.

I believe that therapy is a unique experience that provides a safe place to assist in acknowledging resiliency, providing hope and cultivating healing and growth within individuals and interpersonal relationships. All clients come in with their own personality, strengths, struggles, and differing walks of life. In order to match this, I operate from a person-centered approach and emphasize each individual’s strengths to empower and challenge them to grow while assisting in defining their own goals and successes. While I have experience in working with individuals, couples and families, I have found that my passion lies within helping adolescents and young adults navigate the challenges that naturally come along with this exciting, yet stressful season of life. As many clients come to therapy not of their own choosing or with skepticism, I place emphasis on building a therapeutic relationship with validation, trust, accountability, candid feedback and a little bit of humor as needed! Enough about me, I can't wait to learn more about you! -Ashley

Hi there, I’m Gavyn. Originally from Illinois, I spent my formative years in the Madison, Wisconsin area. My academic journey led me to the University of Milwaukee, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During high school and throughout my undergraduate years, I immersed myself in various treatment environments, from nursing homes to residential treatment facilities, and outpatient mental health clinics. My commitment to serve my community remained strong as I persisted in finding a setting that would fuel my passion for aiding others in their treatment journeys. Upon completing my undergraduate studies, I ventured to Chicago to delve into the world of wedding photography, a pursuit that fed my artistic soul but left me yearning for deeper human connections. This longing eventually led me and my husband to Colorado, where I embarked on my Master’s in Social Work, specializing in Animal Assisted Therapy. Here, I discovered a profound passion for integrating the healing potential of the human-animal bond into my therapeutic practice. My professional journey has been diverse, encompassing work with various populations, including adolescents diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder and those navigating disordered eating challenges. Through these experiences, I've refined my ability to address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns. Central to my approach is a belief in the power of a strengths-based perspective, recognizing and nurturing the innate resilience and resources within each individual. I strive to cultivate a safe and supportive environment where clients can freely explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is fundamental to my practice, empowering clients to feel understood and empowered on their path to healing. When I am not in the office, you'll often find me cuddling my four fluffy animals—two cats and two dogs—or plotting my next exciting adventure.

Please check out my website - I hope it will answer many of your questions, but please reach out to me by phone or email with any additional questions. Also, though you can book an appointment directly through my website and I try to keep those options updated, please contact me if you'd like to make an appointment but none of the times listed work for you. Here's the complete text, in full: Hi, I'm Sammi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Colorado, working with young adults and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and the exhaustion of holding it all together. My work is grounded in nervous system and somatic awareness as the foundation, with EMDR at the heart of how I help people move past what talk alone hasn't shifted, alongside IFS-informed parts work layered in as a complement. I hold a simple belief: nothing about you needs fixing here, rather a returning to yourself, guided by curiosity rather than certainty. Sessions are collaborative and paced with intention, oriented to the nervous system throughout, following the thread back toward what got buried under all that holding, and building the safety that real change actually stands on. I work well with people who hold real self-awareness and are ready to close the gap between knowing and living, ready to move insight into real, sustainable change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, a major transition, or a quiet disconnection from yourself, this is a space to slow down rather than push harder. I offer virtual sessions across Colorado, accept several insurance plans, and also offer self-pay. Guided by curiosity. Rooted in the body. Here for the long way home.
