Hello my name is Billie. Like so many people I grew up in a conservative town that made it clear that they saw Queerness as "evil" and "destroying the family." I started Texas Queer Counseling to allow people the space to figure out who they are, away from the expectations society places on us. As a transwoman I know the state of Texas has is not a safe place to live. It is also important to find the joy of being Queer. Don't be as miserable as the people trying to criminalize our lives.
