Hello! And welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I am deeply committed to walking with my clients on their journeys of self-discovery as they confront their toughest avoidances and uncover their vulnerabilities. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to share their stories while helping to empower them to make changes, create meaning, and discover ways to enjoy life. I am welcoming and affirming of diversity including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, political stance, body size, age, and ability.
I view therapy as a deeply collaborative and relational process. Together, we will work to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences, patterns, and emotions—helping you build insight, create meaningful change, and foster personal growth. By gaining greater self-awareness, you can begin to navigate internal and relational challenges, explore the connections between your past and present, and move toward a more intentional and fulfilling future. My approach integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, with a strong foundation in psychodynamic and relational therapy. I am also extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I use to support individuals in developing emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I strive to provide person-centered care within a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment. Our work together will center on understanding your experiences more fully and finding ways to respond to them with greater clarity and intention.
In a safe, comfortable and supportive atmosphere, we offer a holistic, highly individualized approach tailored to your needs in order to help you attain personal growth and awareness. Together we will work to create an experience where you feel empowered and on a positive path to mind, body, and spiritual wellness. Through collaboration, you will be able to reconcile and understand your past losses/traumas/relationships, overcome your challenges/patterns to live in the present, and make changes to grow into your true potential. Our therapists draw on their backgrounds in evidence-based holistic therapies to complement and build upon your own strengths and skills. Based your needs, we meaningfully integrate our knowledge in Mindfulness Meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reiki, Psychodynamic & Attachment Approaches, Yoga Therapy, EMDR, IFS, Dance Therapy, and Neurobiology. If you're searching for compassionate support and understanding as you move through a difficult, challenging, and/or transitional time in your life, please call or email us for an individual, group, or yoga therapy consultation. We look forward to hearing from you!
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with experience working with a diverse population in an outpatient setting. I believe that developing a deeper understanding of yourself is the key to facing your mental health struggles and creating a life which is meaningful to you. I endeavor to help you feel seen and understood and to create an environment which is judgment-free and supportive. As a counselor, my approach will vary depending on your individual goals and needs. I work mainly from an existential foundation and enjoy tackling the big questions such as Who am I? and What is my purpose? I also draw from other modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that you are the expert on your own life and will focus on what you want out of our sessions. Whether you are dealing with a condition such as depression, anxiety, or OCD or experiences such as stress, grief, or exploring your identity, I am here to accompany you on your journey and empower you to make the change you want to see. The office is located directly on the 61B bus line, making it a convenient trip for any students in Oakland.

I offer a range of therapeutic modalities to suit your specific needs. Whether we're reshaping thoughts, nurturing emotional strength, or exploring a series of alternative methods, I'll customize sessions for your growth and well-being. Elevthera Wellness was founded in 2018 by Alecia Denillo, LPC, with a simple but powerful intention: to create a therapy space that felt less like a clinical transaction and more like a genuine partnership. Over the years, that vision has grown into a practice of dedicated therapists who share the same core values - warmth, collaboration, authenticity, and a deep respect for each client's unique journey. Whether you're navigating anxiety, rebuilding your sense of self, learning to set boundaries, or simply trying to figure out who you are on the other side of a big life change - you're in the right place.
If anxiety feels like it’s running your life or your relationship feels stuck in painful patterns, you’re not alone. Many of the individuals and couples I work with feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I’m Anna Clemente, and I offer a warm, supportive space where we can slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and build healthier ways of coping and communicating. Many of my clients are thoughtful people who appear to be managing well on the outside but internally feel anxious, stuck, or disconnected. I specialize in anxiety and couples work, using a systemic and relational approach to help clients understand patterns that keep them feeling stuck. With couples, I focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connection using the Gottman Method and EFT, while integrating CBT and IFS when helpful. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s important to find someone who feels like the right fit. If you’re curious about working together, I’d be happy to connect for a brief consultation to answer any questions and see if it feels like a good match. You’re welcome to reach out by inquiry or text whenever you feel ready.
In working with you, my goal is to help you improve your overall sense of well-being, improve your relationships and address life's challenges with greater self-assurance and ease. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in the present. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will address what may be holding you back from experiencing life with greater joy and ease.
My name is Sandra Dickinson, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a mother to four. I specialize in trauma and anxiety and the issues that come with loss, disappointment, and uncertainty. Many of the clients I work with are navigating life transitions—such as adjusting to college life, are in difficult relationships, many are struggling with pregnancy and postpartum, infertility, adoption, parenting, or caregiving. I have many years of experience working with Veterans and military spouses, and supporting people after they have experienced trauma. In our first sessions, my goal is for you to feel truly heard, understood and supported. Together we’ll create a plan to help guide your healing and growth at a comfortable pace.
I have immediate openings for adults and adolescents. Private pay only and I offer flexible scale pricing for those who wish to use it. Do you find yourself wondering why everyone else has it figured out and not you? Why is it so hard to get and stay on top of tasks and goals? Maybe you struggle getting to class on time or staying motivated on semester-long projects. Maybe you notice your relationships are all struggling but you're not sure why. These are common concerns for folks with ADHD and/or challenges with executive functioning. My work centers on helping clients identify their specific barriers and using evidence-based techniques to overcome challenges and meet your academic, professional, and relationship goals. Please reach out, I'd love to hear from you and figure out how we can get you to your goals.
Does your mind constantly run? Cannot turn it off? Do you worry yourself to sleep or that you are “going crazy”? Anxiety, worry, and over-thinking are common in today’s fast-paced world, but help is available. Counselors give advice. Unsure about what to do? They’ll tell you. This is comforting, but this is not therapy. In sessions, we explore your mind, how it ticks, and how to focus your time and energy on things that matter to most to you. Unlike other theories which focus on labeling thoughts and feelings as “good” or “bad” and attempting to change them, Mindfulness seeks at relating to them differently.

Hello! My name is Christy Nyakana, and I have been a licensed therapist for 19 years. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with my Master of Social Work degree in 2003. Since then, I have been very fortunate to work with amazingly diverse and ever-resilient clients. I have provided therapy in psychiatric inpatient settings, schools, community mental health clinics, Dr.’s offices, private practice, and military bases. Currently, I provide online teletherapy through a HIPAA compliant platform. I have significant experience with adjustment issues, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, women's issues, military culture, and pre/post-surgical bariatric counseling. I am an LGBTQ+ informed therapist who is knowledgeable about the kink and polyamory/ENM community. Additionally, I take diversity and racism seriously. I am a supporter of LGBTQ+, BLM and Women's Rights. Although I cannot claim to know firsthand how unsafe--and unseen--many marginalized people feel, what I can guarantee is, that when you are talking with me, I will do everything I can to help you feel safe and accepted, regardless of our differences. I recognize that life circumstances can be challenging, unexpected, confusing, and leave us feeling overwhelmed and not understood. It can be helpful to talk with someone who has the experience and compassion to help you discover the best path to meet your personal goals. I am committed to providing therapy that is always positively focused and encourages self-acceptance. Learning to focus on our strengths to make healthy choices physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually are all part of long-term health and success. Hopefully, that is something I can help you with!
I work to empower students to thrive while navigating the transition to college and beyond. This includes support with building confidence and resilience, managing stress, anxiety, and depression, and helping create a positive college experience. I create a warm and open environment to address issues and create lasting change.
My practice supports students coping with the many challenges of adjustment to college life. I aim to help students achieve their academic/professional and social goals, while remaining true to their identities and interests. Through therapy, I help my clients understand that achievement does not mean sacrificing who you are. Together we focus on clarifying personal goals, identity development, and adjustment to new freedoms and environments. I have special interest in working with first generation, racially/ethnically diverse, LGBTQ+, and immigrant students.
