Elevthera Wellness was founded in 2018 by Alecia Denillo, LPC, with a simple but powerful intention: to create a therapy space that felt less like a clinical transaction and more like a genuine partnership. Over the years, that vision has grown into a practice of dedicated therapists who share the same core values - warmth, collaboration, authenticity, and a deep respect for each client's unique journey. Whether you're navigating anxiety, rebuilding your sense of self, learning to set boundaries, or simply trying to figure out who you are on the other side of a big life change - you're in the right place.
During this difficult time it is a challenge to adapt to changes going on around us. I am providing teletherapy in order to continue making therapy available, but with the security of staying home. Providing individual therapy for adults, adolescents, children, and couples. I have worked with many different clients providing the support needed for change. My experience at Child Guidance Resource Centers and in a College Clinic has given me the opportunity to work with many adults, children, adolescents and families. I find my training is particularly helpful for my clients in that it helps individuals better understand their relationships with themselves and others in their life. I regularly look at the systemic process in relationships, and at attachment issues. My orientation is eclectic, using various disciplines, and skills from psychodynamic, behavioral, systems, and humanistic approaches. I hope you will consider using me as a resource to assist your growth and change. Please feel free to contact me by telephone. My office is in the Main Line area. Thank you. Chas Wargo 610-945-8080
Hi! I'm from Pittsburgh and proud to be practicing in my home town. Therapy ranges from directive to less structured approaches. Directive approaches involve identifying a specific problem and starting interventions including skill building for the client. Less directive therapy involves self exploration and understanding our symptoms in an interpersonal context. These two approaches can be combined, tailored to the client. The client's responsibility is committing to therapy, and showing up weekly at the designated time, and engaging in the process. While the therapist is an expert in psychology, the client is an expect in themselves and is ultimately the source of change and improvement. I see myself as a guide, helping the client see things they may have missed or avoided, and making connections that wouldn't otherwise be obvious. The process is collaborative and frequently rewarding.
Trying to find a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already juggling classes, jobs, friendships, and figuring out your next steps. Who We Work Best With: Students Just Like You The students who thrive most in our practice often share a few things in common. They are typically high-achieving, thoughtful, and determined, but right now, they're feeling overwhelmed and stuck. They are excellent at pushing through difficult situations but realize that the old methods of "just toughing it out" aren't working anymore. You might be a great fit for us if you are experiencing any of the following: The "Burnout Beast": You're running on empty. You feel anxious every Sunday night, your motivation is low, and you constantly feel like you should be doing more, even when you're exhausted. You're ready to stop stressing and start enjoying your college years. The Social Maze: You're struggling to make real connections, dealing with roommate conflicts, or navigating a difficult dating scene. You want your relationships to feel supportive, not draining. The Future Fog: You're feeling pressure about your major, your career path, or even just whether you're where you're "supposed" to be. You need help quieting the noise so you can figure out what you truly want. The New Normal: You're struggling to adjust to a new semester, a move away from home, or even life after graduation. Change is hard, and you need a steady, non-judgmental place to process it. We specialize in working with college and graduate students to manage anxiety, perfectionism, stress, and life transitions. Our goal isn't just to help you survive campus life—it's to help you genuinely thrive. We provide practical strategies, emotional support, and the clarity you need to move forward, all without the confusing jargon.
Are you struggling? Is your mental health struggles getting in the way of your academic performance or social relationships? If so, I would love to help! I have over 19 years experience and 8 of those were at University Counseling Centers. I have worked both at the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University. Counseling can be intimidating and I believe that creating a trusting therapeutic relationship is a vital part of making it feel more comfortable. I work hard to collaborate with you- I listen to what is going on and has been getting in the way of being the best version of you. Together we will develop treatment goals to help you get back to a great place. I am passionate about working with people who are struggling with identity concerns, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, interpersonal/relationship concerns, self-esteem, stress management, substance use concerns or trying to recover from a history of trauma. I utilize an integrative approach through a multicultural lens in my work meeting the client where they are at and learning about their goals, strengths and struggles that they want to overcome. I love to use a strength based approach that is client centered and solution focused. I am passionate about integrating physical exercise and skill building into treatment to help with sustainability of progress. Lastly, from my experience, clients who do the best in treatment are ones who do work outside of our appointments to apply and utilize the skills/resources we are discussing.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by college life, you’re not alone. As a psychologist with experience working specifically with college students, I specialize in helping you navigate the stress, anxiety, and challenges that come with academic pressures, social dynamics, and personal growth. Whether you're struggling to adjust, manage workload stress, or facing feelings of anxiety or depression, I’m here to help you build resilience and find balance. Together, we’ll explore strategies to support your mental health and well-being—so you can thrive during your college years and beyond. I have an office in Ft. Washington, PA and I'm a member of PsyPact, so if you are local we can meet in person or can meet virtually if your college is in one of the PsyPact states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.)
College and graduate school can stretch you academically, mentally, and emotionally. When stress, burnout, or self-doubt start to pile up, that stretch can feel more like a breaking point. I work with students to navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, life transitions, and challenges that can come with disability. I also support people adjusting to new environments, including the shift from rural backgrounds into more urban, academic settings. Together, we’ll look at where you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed and build practical skills to help you clear those hurdles and reconnect with what matters to you. My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In practice, this means we’ll use a blend of tools to help you understand your thoughts and reactions, make sense of your experiences, and respond in ways that feel more manageable and effective. I will tailor our work to your personal goals, because your idea of accomplishment is what matters to me. If you’re interested, we can also bring in elements of Geek Therapy® (using movies, games, or other examples of popular culture) to make therapy feel more relatable and engaging. If you’ve been dealing with mental fatigue, cognitive overload, or a life-altering diagnosis, you don’t have to figure it out on your own. We can work together to help you feel more balanced, confident, and prepared for your next chapter, whether that’s graduation or the following academic term. Reaching out can be the most difficult step in this process. Let’s start a conversation and design a treatment plan just for you.

I am a licensed social worker and enjoy working with adolescents and adults as they navigate the vast and diverse landscape of the human experience. Major life transitions, work stress, grief and loss, trauma, relationship issues, or simply feeling “stuck"...regardless of your reasons for seeking therapy, I consider it a privilege to provide nonjudgmental support and productive insight as we work towards your goals together. My therapeutic style is collaborative, integrative and person-centered. With an emphasis on facilitating safety and comfort in confiding personal experiences, I help clients uncover aspects of those experiences that are outside a person's awareness, to promote understanding, greater freedom of choice in life, and lasting change. Beyond insight work, I value working together to identify practical ways we can increase self-compassion and psychological resiliency.
