Sometimes change is the only way towards growth Together, we can help you figure out how to move forward in life, embrace transitions, and make more empowering choices. —---- When you’re starting a new school, watching your child grow, or getting used to a new family dynamic… anxiety has a way of getting its hold on you. Without meaning to, you may find yourself spending all of your energy by worrying about, regretting, and resisting change. But worry doesn’t have to get in your way—as long as you can learn to embrace change and growth. I’m 14 years into a rewarding career as a therapist for children and adults. Clients describe my therapy style as warm and approachable. My approach is grounded in the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT,) a form of talk therapy that allows us to notice and address unhealthy patterns in your thinking or behavior by focusing on the everyday things that are happening right now. This means that my sessions include plenty of humor, candor, and self-reflection. I particularly enjoy working with families during moments of educational transition—and as a former School Psychologist, I’m experienced with academic reports and have developed strategies for helping students advocate for what they need. The work I do with clients feels very natural and focused for them. At the end of our sessions, I’ll usually ask you to choose something to try before our next session, which keeps the rapport going. (Clients who have spent a lot of time with me find themselves wondering “what Sandi would say?”) It makes me proud to know when my clients internalize what we're working on and use it between sessions, too. Who I Work With At my office in Haverford, Pennsylvania, I see clients of all ages. Adults take respite with me in my warm and modern office space as we work through changes in their lives, families and careers—while kids enjoy learning new skills with me in a friendly environment (which involves playing lots of games!) Through the PSYPACT network, I see adult clients virtually across 40 participating states. This is especially useful because so many of my clients are young adults beginning college, and working professionals who are settling into a new job. My clients include new parents adjusting to raising kids, college students who are adjusting to life on campus, parents who struggle with their newly empty nest, and many others. In short, anyone whose life or family is entering a new phase. Therapy is an increasingly normal thing in our culture. My clients arrive eager to make peace with something new and scary. A few of my clients even come in and out of therapy with me over the course of many years, choosing to lean on my support during key turning points—and to practice what we learned together during the years in between. They’ve heard me say, over and over again, that it may be time to “update your view of yourself.” If you’re looking for a therapist, that’s probably true for you, too. Let’s Get Started The best way to start is by scheduling an appointment with me for us to begin getting to know each other. You’ll need to want therapy in order for it to work—so get in touch when you’re ready to learn how to plant both feet in this new stage of your life.
Congratulations on taking the first step in your mental health journey. I am looking forward to meeting you! I am a board certified Adult/Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Pediatrician. I specialize in combining psychotherapy with medication management, and utilizing a holistic approach with assessment of lifestyle factors and physical health that integrates my expertise as a pediatrician. I treat a wide range of conditions with particular expertise in treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), among others. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. I have particular interest in addressing conflicts that arise from cultural, personal, and social identity struggles and providing a safe space to explore and empower clients to embrace their unique identities and build confidence through positive reinforcement and validation of one's experiences. I also provide support and skills for managing the pressures of academic performance, fostering independence, and career planning.
I work best with students who are motivated and thoughtful, but feel stuck—whether that’s struggling to focus, feeling overwhelmed by academic pressure, or wondering if ADHD, a learning difference, or anxiety might be part of the picture. I offer neuropsychological evaluations to help students understand how their brain works—clarifying strengths, challenges, and what may be getting in the way of learning or performance. These evaluations are often helpful for students seeking answers, clarity, or documentation for academic supports. I also provide CBT-based therapy, which focuses on practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, perfectionism, and unhelpful thinking patterns. Therapy is active and collaborative, and we work toward concrete changes that make daily life and school feel more manageable. If you’re looking for clearer answers about yourself and support that’s structured, practical, and grounded, I may be a good fit.
Our ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, or major life changes. They want to feel understood, supported, and hopeful again. They’re seeking a safe, welcoming space—either in person or online—where they can be themselves without judgment. Their goal is not just to cope, but to grow: to build confidence, find clarity, and reconnect with their strengths. They want meaningful change and a therapist who meets them with compassion, skill, and genuine care.

I am a psychotherapist with over 20 yrs of experience and expertise in eating disorders, women's issues and working with college students. I provide therapy for those struggling with depression, anxiety, ocd, grief/loss, co-occurring illnesses and life transitions. I welcome a collaborative approach in which we work together to best understand your needs and concerns and to help you in the most impactful way.
I have primarily worked with clients regarding life transitions/adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, self-harm, LGBTQ exploration, interpersonal conflicts, family dynamics, spiritual/faith/religious concerns or abuse, and boundary setting. I have specialty in working with religious concerns--whether that is as a religious individual or someone with religious trauma/spiritual abuse. I also specialize in working with individuals from dysfunctional family systems or those with emotionally immature parents. Lastly, CPTSD is another area that I am well-versed in.
Are you struggling to balance your needs within your relationships or at work/school? Do you have racing thoughts, feel overwhelmed, struggle to focus, or have difficulty sleeping? My name is Katie Crow (she/her), LISW-S, LCSW and I am a licensed clinical mental health therapist that works with residents in CO, OH, PA and TX. I specialize in working with adults who struggle to focus on the most important person in their life: YOU! My goal is to help you learn how to balance the different aspects of your life. Every person can heal and my role is to provide you with support, feedback, education, and therapy interventions so that you can. My counseling approach is collaborative and together we will: gain a better understanding and decrease anxiety & depression, focus on your needs, improve your relationships, confidently handle school stressors. I specialize in working with late teens (16+) and adults navigating the transition into independence, identity, and adulthood. This stage of life can feel overwhelming—whether you're managing anxiety, adjusting to college or post-grad life, struggling with relationships, or feeling stuck in uncertainty about your next steps. Many of my clients are high-functioning but internally overwhelmed—balancing expectations, pressure, and major life changes while trying to figure out who they are and what they want. I provide a supportive space to slow things down, build insight, and develop practical tools to aid you in your journey. I strongly believe that we must take time to nurture our emotional and mental well being just as we do with our physical being.
I provide specialized therapy that is individually tailored to help you solve your problems and realize your potential. Clients regularly describe my approach as effective and enjoyable since it combines practical skills with a deeper understanding of the self. Clients also appreciate that I bring authenticity, determination, and humor into the healing journey. I have extensive experience helping people from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I regularly work with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community. I have particular expertise and interest in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, OCD, depression, perfectionism, self-expression, difficulty adjusting to college, relationship issues, and addictions. To treat OCD, I specifically use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard in OCD treatment. If even a small part of you is curious to see how things can be different, I hope to get to meet with you soon.
