I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing diagnostic assessment and evidence based psychotherapy for the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. I have diagnosed and treated a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders in inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and telehealth settings. I also have specialized training in treating adolescents and young adults with co-occurring physical and mental health conditions. I use a collaborative approach to create an individualized treatment plan that capitalizes on existing strengths and aligns with patients' short- and long-term goals for treatment. I obtained my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Case Western Reserve University, followed by a clinical internship at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. My postdoctoral research training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine focuses on promoting well-being during life transitions among individuals and families experiencing chronic stress. I use a traditional therapeutic modality (cognitive behavioral) in conjunction with a Mindfulness based approach. Clients learn to self regulate emotions as they learn to achieve their personal goals. Life will become more meaningful and fulfilling when the individual aligns with a purpose that feels authentic and valuable.
I often work with clients who have anxiety or depression about school or work or relationships. They may have relationship problems with friends or romantic partners or struggle with social anxiety or school performance anxiety. Some of my clients are dealing with divorce or are couples trying to work through issues in their relationships including poor communication or affairs.

Are you emotionally exhausted, experiencing unsettling transitions or struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety or grief? Are you coping with toxicity within your relationships or having difficulties adjusting to the demands of academic life? My clients learn to use their suffering as guiding information, identifying imbalances and creating a greater impetus toward life change. I serve those seeking a deeper understanding and mastery of their life journey. We will work to increase intimacy and alignment with the core of your essential, authentic self. The archetypal language taps into the universal motivational patterns inherent in both the individual and collective psyches. Utilizing astrological theory specifically allows us to see pinnacle moments of growth potential evident throughout the life cycle, allowing for more conscious use of our efforts toward self-betterment and greater management of our unique motivational personality structure. With that, this theory underlies the tenets of a meaningful and synchronistic universe which can be collaborated with to co-create a more purposeful life and to help with radical acceptance of the things we cannot change. We may use this approach, along with other interventions, to help identify and integrate the disowned parts of the self which lead to recurrent negative patterns. I also specialize in treating victims of narcissistic abuse as they heal from relational trauma and learn to seek self-validation and challenge co-dependencies, honoring one's own limits and divesting from the toxic dynamics within relationships. I have a Masters Degree in Social Work (2006) and practice as a Telehealth Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CT and PA. I also have certification in Conscious Evolution in Archetypal Cosmology via the Graduate Institute (2011), in Archetypal Astrology and Cosmology via the Institute of Transpersonal and Archetypal Studies (2019) and a Certificate in Applied Archetypal Astrology from Pacifica Graduate Institute (2023). I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH).

It's easy to get lost in our own minds. It's common to feel conflict and tension within ourselves as we navigate life's ups, downs and variety of curveballs. So many of us end up saying "A part of me feels.... and yet another part of me feels the complete opposite!". I'm passionate about working with folks who need a little time and space to sort things out. Whether it's anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship turmoil, uncertainty on identity or goals....we can face life's twists and turns together. I'm here to lend an ear and a helping hand. I'm passionate about therapy approaches and tools that are shown to help. Educating my clients and empowering them to take nuggets of awareness or action from each session into life is top of mind for me when we meet. I have years of experience helping folks sort through the burdens of anxiety, depression, emotion regulation struggles, relationship patterns, and OCD. It's always my top priority to work as a team - two humans sitting down in a sacred space to unravel the knots of uncertainty, discover your inner strengths and craft new approaches that can open up the road ahead. This too shall pass.

I work with individuals and couples who feel like they want more out of their relationships, career, as a parent, or with their decisions. I help people identify the patterns that they are part of that are not helpful in achieving joy, and I work with them to create different patterns that will lead them to a more fulfilling life.
Lydia obtained their masters in School and Mental Health Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently working toward licensure. They have experience in working with LGBT adults and adolescents, the BIPOC community, and other marginalized identities. Lydia’s therapeutic approach primarily revolves around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Person-Centered Counseling and they will implement techniques that best cater to their clients’ needs. Lydia’s values are informed through a lens of intersectionality by evaluating how structural oppression affects different minority groups. As a result, they promote radical self-love and acceptance as a form of resistance against oppressive systemic structures. You can find Lydia enjoying their free time tending to their plants, spending time with their cats, and playing video games.
