Hello there! First, know that I have so much empathy for you as you're going through this process and reaching out for help. Finding a therapist that fits what you need can be tedious, but I encourage you to ask as many questions as you need to make sure you're getting the support that you're looking for! A bit about me: I did my schooling out in Southern California, before working in Texas, Oklahoma and now Pennsylvania. I am based out of Pennsylvania and I provide telehealth therapy for adolescents and adults residing in the state. I have worked well with clients who experience adjustment and identity struggles, cultural, immigration and race-related stress, sexual assault, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and family/interpersonal conflict. I use an integration of attachment theory, structural family therapy, cognitive- and dialectical-behavioral interventions. I also consider biological and ecological influences in my work in order to provide culturally-aware and holistic treatment to my clients. I strive to be an ally to clients with immigrant, BIPOC, Hispanic/Latinx and LGBTQ+ identities. Having worked in outpatient clinics and universities throughout the country, I have a deep respect and connect well with clients from all walks of life. I am described as warm, down to earth, and challenging yet supportive. I am devoted to what I do and I look forward to possibly working with you! Ultimately, I want my clients to feel empowered to make choices that meet their needs - If you are exploring possible therapy choices and have questions for me, or if you’d just like to get started, you can schedule a free 15-minute by emailing me or visiting my website!

Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Oaklyn, NJ

Hi, I’m Tori — a therapist, theatre-maker, sourdough enthusiast, and firm believer that we’re all just doing our best to make sense of being human. My work is for anyone who’s ever thought, “Am I the drama?” — and then realized, maybe, a little. I love working with women, queer folks, and anyone who doesn’t quite fit into the neat boxes the world tends to hand out. My special heart-space is for college-aged and younger women trying to navigate identity, independence, relationships, and the wild, weird in-between of figuring it all out. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the theatre — helping people tell their stories, find their voices, and sit in the beautiful chaos of being seen. That same creative spirit is what guides me in therapy. Together, we’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and gently (or not-so-gently) challenge the stories that keep you stuck. My background is in trauma and crisis work, with training in CBT, narrative therapy, and evidence-based approaches — but the heart of my work is connection. I want you to feel like you can show up as your whole self here — messy, brilliant, funny, heartbroken, healing, or all of the above. When I’m not in session, I’m usually baking bread, playing with my dogs, or daydreaming about planting too many flowers in my (slightly shady) backyard garden. Therapy with me isn’t about being “fixed” — it’s about being found.

Transitions Counseling Services
Group practice
Paoli, PA

Transitions: An Athletic and Life Skills Program was developed in July 1999 because of the need to educate individuals across the life span of the strategies and skills used for successful transitions in life. Individuals already possess the skills that are needed. However, they may be unaware of their own strategies and/or their skills are not fully developed. Through my counseling services and the life skills program, needs of the individual are met by utilizing individual or group counseling sessions, couples, marriage or family counseling, workshops, speaking engagements and/or group/team building exercises with all being provided with personal attention. In 2007, the company name was changed to Transitions Counseling Service and Life Skills Program. Dr. Taunya Marie Tinsley a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will work with youth, adolescents, young adults and adults. Dr. Tinsley’s primary interest is working with adolescents, college students, young adults, and athletes as well as providing couples, marriage or family counseling. Specifically, Dr. Tinsley’s clinical areas include multicultural counseling, multicultural issues in counseling, multicultural organizational development, spiritual counseling, Christian counseling, psychosocial development issues, and sports counseling.

Sometimes there comes a point in our lives when we realize that we haven't been living fully and with intention. This awareness can stem from a traumatic event, a betrayal, a stressful life transition (good or bad) or simply an aha moment. It is at this point we have a choice, continue as we always have, or do something different. Unfortunately we don't always know what that "something different" is and need help unlocking the possibilities and potential that have always been within us. Hi and welcome! My name is Jodi Silverman and I am a holistic integrative practitioner with the goal of holding safe space for your healing, learning and growth. As a fellow human and a consciousness guide, I am passionate about supporting people in their journey to find meaning, purpose and connection in life through learning to trust their own intuition. I do this through a variety of psycho-spiritual and transpersonal approaches including psychotherapy, energy healing and embodied mindfulness. Although I am trained in several evidence based treatments, I rely on intuition and the collaborative relationship between us to guide interventions and approaches.

We are passionate about helping adults & couples struggling with anxiety, relational distress, life transitions, sexuality & gender. We practice Systemic Marriage & Family therapy, with specialized training in Sex Therapy. We utilize evidence based methods such as CBT, and Mindfulness therapy. These approaches teach clients how to challenge self-defeating, negative thoughts and create a more peaceful and authentic life. To schedule a free consultation call, head over to our website! As an immigrant myself, our practice strives to be culturally sensitive and accepting of clients unique backgrounds, beliefs and sexual orientation. Do emotions take over and exhaust you? Have people marveled at how resilient you are or mentioned your sensitivity as a liability? Maybe you sometimes wonder if you’re the only one who is seeing the hurt and pain all around. It’s likely you have figured out how to adapt to what the world wants you to be. You present the part of yourself that is widely accepted by your community and our social systems, but what about the rest of YOU? We always hear that college is the best days of our lives, but it is also a time a self discovery. That discovery process can be painful, and I can help. I guide young adults to connect to their inherent worth, power, and self-compassion. I work collaboratively with clients and draw from an expansive toolbox including body-oriented practices, talk therapy, and expressive arts. I am well suited to work with clients who are interested in mindfulness meditation and other body-based exercises to be the center of their therapeutic experience. My scope of practice includes anxiety, grief, burn-out, persistent depression, relational stressors, survivors of sexual trauma, and those navigating life as an artist. I align with clients whose identities and values defy society's conventional norms. My practice is trauma-informed, and I am dedicated to an anti-oppression, anti-racist, body positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming and equitable lens.
