Therapists for college students near New York University
You’ve been holding it together for a long time, maybe for everyone else, maybe just to keep life moving. On the surface, things look fine, but inside you might feel tired, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of what’s next. You’ve tried to manage it on your own, but the same patterns keep showing up in relationships, work, or how you talk to yourself. I work with adults ready for meaningful change, who are navigating stress, burnout, relationship challenges, or life transitions. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and build tools to help you feel grounded, confident, and connected. My approach is active, collaborative, and practical. I bring warmth, humor, and curiosity to the work while helping you explore what’s underneath the surface and create the shifts you want. I draw from evidence-based methods including CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy but I’ll always tailor our sessions to what works best for you. I offer virtual therapy for adults across New York State. Whether you’re struggling with stress, communication, self-esteem, or finding balance in your life, therapy can be a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself. If you’re ready to stop carrying everything on your own, call or email me for a free 15-minute consultation.

Do you have anxiety-provoking thoughts that won’t go away? Do you avoid certain situations or do the same things over and over to get rid of your anxiety only to find temporary relief? Do you feel like your OCD or anxiety is running your life? You are in the right place. As a clinical psychologist specializing in OCD and anxiety I am committed to empowering you to get back into the driver’s seat and feel in control of your life. I provide Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which aim to reduce symptoms and improve wellbeing by cultivating flexibility in thinking and behavior. My approach to treatment is collaborative and goal-oriented. Working together, you and I will look at what factors are contributing to your struggles and develop a plan for changing the patterns that are keeping you stuck. Seeking help is an act of courage, but I will be there with you throughout with empathy, genuineness, curiosity, and perseverance. If this resonates with you, the next step would be to reach out to schedule a complimentary phone consultation where I can hear about what you’re going through, share more about my approach, and we can see if we are a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you!
I am so glad you're here! I hope to offer you a safe space where you are the sole focus. I work with clients to help them assess their life as a whole to establish their needs, wants and wishes free of judgment or shame. I believe in the importance of helping clients develop and utilize a tool kit to manage life’s transitions and challenges. Today, I primarily work with clients facing anxiety, depression, and the emotional weight of past trauma or present-day stressors.
I believe everyone has a vision for the life they want to be living and that often times people have difficulty achieving and making their vision a reality. In my work as a psychotherapist I help people develop their own capacities, skills, and inner resources, so they can address their problems, and live a more satisfying life. People often come to therapy to deal with situations and problems that have effected their sense of self and their sense of safety and left them struggling to navigate their lives and relationships. People benefit from and need to be able to heal from the negative ways their pasts have impacted them. I welcome the opportunity to support and guide you on your journey of self-discovery and change, by actively engaging in the process of psychotherapy with you. Some of the problems people come to me with include stress, family and relationship problems, LGBTQ+ and sexual identity issues, anxiety, depression, histories of trauma, and more. I look forward to working with you in your therapy.

I also have extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of ADHD. I provide neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, including testing for the purpose of requesting accommodations on standardized exams, and ADHD/executive function coaching (also known as CBT for ADHD).
When life feels unpredictable or overwhelming, therapy offers a space to pause and find your footing. Balancing academic pressure, family expectations, and questions about identity can feel especially heavy. I work with students navigating transitions such as starting a new school, adjusting to college, graduating, or finding their place in demanding environments. Therapy with me is a supportive, judgment-free space where you can openly explore stress, identity, relationships, past experiences, and self-doubt. Together, we’ll build coping tools, confidence, and self-compassion, so you don’t have to carry everything on your own.
I have done psychotherapy with graduate students, especially around relationship, bereavement (particularly early parental loss), anxiety and fertility issues for over twenty years. I believe that most emotional pain stems from both difficult life circumstances and how we perceive those events. I work in an open, warm and empathically challenging way to help people better explore, understand and wrestle with the issues that are keeping them from finding more peace, joy, freedom and fulfillment.
Welcome! Thank you for being here and your willingness to create positive changes so you can experience your life more fully. I want to acknowledge your decision and let you know that I am already proud of you for making this commitment to not doing it alone! I am a warm, compassionate therapist that will provide a space where you have the opportunity to be vulnerable without expectations or judgement. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents and adults. My specialty is working with individuals experiencing ongoing challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, family matters, school/job related stressors, life transitions, relationship concerns and more. I am experienced in Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness. I am intentional in working with my clients to explore their strengths, address stressors/barriers to change and facilitate their journey in creating real changes in their lives. I will work with you to ensure that you feel heard, safe and motivated while exploring emotions in session. When I’m not working, I am focused on my other passion that is cooking! Many of my clients are young adults, college students, graduate students, and working professionals who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, low motivation, self-doubt, or difficulty navigating life transitions. Together, we identify the patterns keeping them stuck, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence in themselves and their future. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, motivation, and self-esteem. Drawing from DBT, mindfulness-based practices, and Adlerian therapy, I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for everyday life. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you can exhale, a place where you don’t have to hold everything together. Healing begins with compassion and connection, and real change happens when we feel understood without judgment. I don’t see my clients as diagnoses or problems to be fixed, but as whole people with complex stories.
