Hello! Thank you for your interest in starting therapy. I have a lot of experience supporting college and advanced degree students who are dealing with anxiety, OCD, and stress. I take a CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), goals-focused approach. I am licensed in Massachusetts and New York and I can see students in either state--in fact, I work with a number of students who go to school in MA but live in NY when they are not on campus and vice versa. I'd be happy to set up a time to talk so you can ask any questions that you have to see if it would be a good fit for you.
Welcome to my practice! My clients are ladies 18+. I am doing mostly zoom sessions/telehealth at this time. I spent many years as a student and have tremendous empathy for people. Some of my clients are healing from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment issues, grief and loss, family dynamics and stress management. We start by talking about what is causing you the most stress and develop better coping skills that will help you feel better and be happier and healthier. I am here to support you, educate you and provide guidance for self care. My hours are 10am-9pm Mon-Thurs. Call 845-393-4613 for an appointment. I accept United Healthcare Choice plus, Cigna, Oxford, Medicare, zelle, venmo and checks. Email is carenseniordirect@gmail.com

My approach to therapy is focused on developing genuine relationships that are collaborative and empathic, so clients can feel safe, understood, and supported in sessions. I’m committed to exploring and affirming each client's individuality and intersecting identities, and to supporting individuals in the LGBTQ+ and CNM communities, college students, and professors. I work with adults focused on issues related to social anxiety, ADHD, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship/communication dynamics, and climate anxiety. Sessions are based on a foundation of relational warmth and safety to build a sense of connection, empowerment, deeper insight, and personal resiliency. I primarily draw from person-centered, feminist, trauma-informed, narrative, and IFS approaches, but there is not one specific kind of therapy that works well for everyone. We all have unique strengths and perspectives. Sessions focus on identifying ways to create sustainable positive changes given each client's particular context and lived experience.
Overwhelmed, tired, procrastinating/frozen, noisy mind, lonely, having trouble managing your time, navigating the social scene, taking care of yourself? I have experience working with anger, anxiety, career exploration, depression, family dynamics, grief/loss, stress management, and more. We will use mind-body approaches, Cognitive & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy concepts and other techniques as we work towards your goals. It is a gift to work with you; to bear witness to your being, your pain, and your story. The therapeutic relationship can be transformative. Together, we can find your strengths, stability, peace and meaning. "We are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship, and we can be healed in relationship." Many college students feel stressed, anxious, or unsure how to handle everything on their own. Between classes, friendships, family expectations, and figuring out what comes next, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or stuck. Therapy gives you a space to process what you’re experiencing, understand yourself more clearly, and build coping skills that actually work in your day-to-day life. I offer virtual sessions, which makes it easier to fit therapy into your schedule wherever you are. My style is warm, supportive, and practical, and we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Hi, I'm Dr. Spesh, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with specialized experience in culturally informed treatment of anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other stress-related disorders. I enjoy working with culturally diverse individuals with a broad range of psychological problems, life, & relationship issues. My clinical and research background has specifically focused on women’s mental health, trauma (including military combat and sexual trauma), and individuals experiencing marginalization and minority stress (e.g. Black women/men, Ethnic/Racial minorities/People of Color, LGBTQ+ identified individuals). I am a Yale-trained clinician with over a decade of experience in providing psychotherapy. At my practice, D.I.V.E. Therapy & Consulting LLC, I provide individual therapy focused on a range of issues. As an LGBTQ ally with a specialized background in LGBTQ health, I also offer evaluations and letters for gender-affirming hormone therapy and surgery. As an experienced therapist I recognize that people seek therapy for a range of clinical and/or life issues, but the common goal is reducing and addressing barriers that get in the way of living a fulfilling life. If what you have read is consistent with your needs, contact me for free 15 minute consultation to see if D.I.V.E. is a good fit for you.

I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist with over fifteen years of experience helping individuals and families overcome challenges and achieve their personal goals. My mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing the skills they need to thrive. If you are having difficulty coping with life events, relationship problems, persistent negative thoughts, depression or anxiety, I believe I can help you.
My name is Cristal Sampson. I am the sole owner and healthcare provider at Spirit Clinic. A great way to describe what it’s like to work with me is through a term I’ve coined: mindful medication management. Mindful med management is an approach to psychiatric care that is attentive to the unique needs and concerns of each individual. It’s a collaborative process, where we work together to ensure that treatment decisions are made with your input and full understanding. At its core, this approach is relational, focusing on building trust and fostering open communication, so you feel supported every step of the way. It's also deeply considerate, acknowledging and respecting your personal experiences and preferences when it comes to treatment. Taking a holistic view, it goes beyond just addressing symptoms—encompassing your overall well-being, including emotional, physical, and social factors. Most importantly, it’s patient-led, meaning that you guide the process, and I’m here to help you find the best path toward better health, on your terms.
If you’re a woman or queer person who seems put-together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who you’re becoming on the inside, you’re not alone. Many of my clients describe shutting down in social settings, feeling pressure to perform, comparing themselves constantly, or wondering why things that once felt easy now feel impossibly heavy. They’re exhausted from pretending they’re fine, disconnected from their own needs, and scared by how quickly their emotions or motivation can swing. I help clients make sense of these intense inner shifts through a somatic, trauma-informed, and spiritually grounded approach. Together, we slow down enough to track what your body and emotions are trying to say, stress patterns, numbness, overthinking, people-pleasing, or the impulse to disappear. Instead of forcing insight or navigating it alone, you get a space to explore identity, relationships, boundaries, burnout, and the pressure to figure everything out. This work helps soften shame, reduce spirals, and reconnect you to what’s real and steady within you. Clients often describe feeling calmer, clearer, and more able to show up for their lives with presence and self-trust. They communicate more honestly, rest without guilt, reconnect with people they care about, and feel less ruled by anxiety or self-attack. If you’re ready to understand what’s shifting inside you, and want support that meets you with depth, compassion, and grounded tools, I’d be honored to walk with you.
