Jason Watts is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Georgia who specializes in the diagnosis and medical management of mental health disorders. Her has a Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University, and his Associates in Nursing from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Jason has experience with treating depression, anxiety, addiction, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADD/ADHD and sees patients from ages 18 to 90. Jason has 25+ years of healthcare experience in emergency and behavioral health settings. Jason aims to see each person as an individual with a distinctive situation that needs personal attention. He treats the person. He feels that every person is different and so is their treatment. Someone may have the same diagnosis, but that does not mean the treatment will be the same. Jason places an emphasis on an atmosphere that promotes trust and the development of a team environment where the patient and he can work together to reach mutual goals. Jason has worked as a firefighter, paramedic and in other roles as a mental health provider. In his free time, Jason loves spending time with his wife, son, cat and three dogs. Shashank Jha, M. B. B.S. (Educational commission for foreign medical graduate certified by Association of American Medical Colleges(AAMC), F. N. P. (Board certified), P. M. H. N. P. (Board certified), is a double-boarded, across-the-lifespan mental health nurse practitioner who practices psychiatry in Atlanta, GA since 2015. He began his career in healthcare practicing primary care and psychiatry in India in 1994. Shashank Jha practiced medicine in India for almost fourteen years before moving to Atlanta, GA, in 2008. He went back to school again to graduate from the combined bachelors-masters nurse-practitioner program at Kennesaw State University, GA in 2011. Then, he graduated from the post-master's mental health nurse practitioner program at the University of Cincinnati, OH. He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and Golden Key International Honor Societies. His background includes diagnosing and treating addiction as well as mental health ailments for all ages and gender. He served a population of rural Georgia via telepsychiatry, served children & adolescents in Fulton County, GA, and served at various mental health-addiction crisis centers in Atlanta, GA.
Meah is an advocate for individuals and families impacted by mental illness. She has several years of behavioral health experience working in various settings. In these settings, Meah used her experience, commitment, and dedication, to deliver culturally competent care to ensure everyone was treated with respect and dignity. Meah enjoys spending time with her family.
Annu has facilitated both group and individual counseling, as well as, couples counseling. She is well versed in several counseling techniques such as CBT and person-centered. Annu has a compassionate, approachable demeanor. She is also organized with an attention to detail. Clients warm up to her quickly and she enjoys helping them to reach goals and learn new behaviors. Born in Malaysia, Annu moved to the United States when she was 16 years old. She was always curious about the human mind and behavior which led her to go to school for psychology and counseling. Besides her love for helping people, she enjoys spending time with her family. Annu has been married to her husband for 12 years and together they have a 9 year old son. Most weekends they are at the baseball field watching their son play. They also like to travel and see new places. Together, they have been to almost every continent which is very exciting and eye opening to learn ways of other cultures and traditions.
